Description of Work: Vasile came to my home and reviewed the floors in their current state. Despite some communication issues, many on part of the Angieslist platform and how they handle scheduling, we got his professional opinion on the condition and next steps. After sanding, the floor had a stain that could not be sanded out and Vasile assisted in selecting the ideal stain color to make the stain disappear and the floors look like new. Upon request an additional coat of poly was applied and he was very descriptive in terms of odor, timing, etc. There's no odor remnants, the floor looks quite good, and his assessment of the floor needs were spot on. I'd recommend him to any of my friends and also want him to come back and do an additional floor. His pricing outside of Angieslist is also very reasonable. Patience, communication, and understanding will go a long way and ensure an amazing job!

Description of Work: The provider refused to honor a $300 deal that was advertised on Angies List and refused to consider lowering the price for work to be done. A $300 deal was offered for 100 square feet. I asked for a smaller space with some repair, but did not believe that the full price was justified for less than half of the space. We needed a small foyer done. The company was prompt in communication but refused to honor the deal (saying something about the deal not being active any longer) and complained that his equipment is the same regardless of the job. Well, that makes sense. But the customer's needs are not the same, regardless of the equipment. So, customer says: if you don't like hauling your equipment around, that's not the customer's problem. The deal, for 100 square feet, should be adjusted, if the customer has LESS THAN 100 square feet to do. If company doesn't like to negotiate that's fine, but they should honor then, their $300 deal that they are advertising. Bottom line, this company tried to extort $450. Not. Going. To. Happen.

Description of Work: Vasile buffed my hardwood floors for entire 3 bedroom condo. (I just bought the condo and wanted the floors done before moving in furniture.Excellent customer service. Prompt, friendly and knowledgeable. Catered to my needs. Great quality job. My movers put a few marks on the floor afterwards, and Vasile offered to take care of those too.

Description of Work: Wood Floor refinishing

Description of Work: Vasile removed the small 4" granite backsplash and replaced it with white subway tile that covered the entire backsplash area between the counters and cabinets. The result was very professional and, with the Angie's list deal, a great value. We were responsible for purchasing all supplies and could have used a little more guidance in what all was needed (tile and grout obviously, but there are a lot of grout types! we also needed to go to home depot during the project to purchase tile spacers and grout sealer - which we applied ourselves after the grouting). Overall, the project was done quickly and efficiently. Would definitely use them again for other tiling jobs.
