Description of Work: Overall I highly recommend this company. They are very professional and responsive. My move was very sudden and they were able to accommodate me with less than 2 week notice. Dani helped me with my estimates and she went above and beyond sometimes working after hours to help me get my estimate together. As with most long distance moves your stuff could arrive anytime from 24hrs later to 1 month later. I was very pleased that my stuff arrived 1 week after I moved and it was delivered by the same foreman who picked up. Knowing that the same person was responsible for my stuff from end to end really helped me trust the company, but know that this experience is not typical. The men who picked up and delivered my stuff were amazing, very respectful, personable and kind. They always asked for permission before entering a new room. The foreman was great about explaining the fine print and everything that I had to sign. He took the time to explain the entire procedure for me - showing everything that he tagged and confirming that it was registering in the system. He also did not seem bothered by any of my questions. I also felt very comfortable that my furniture and appliances were well protected given the number of blankets they used to wrap each item. As a side note- if you plan to supply the tape yourself rather than paying the tape fee buy 3x the amount you think you will need, they use the tape very liberally. It's unlikely you will have any leftover, but if you do you can just return it to the store. | |I only have one complaint about the service I received - they arrived to pick up my stuff a little over 2 hours earlier than the window that I scheduled, so I was not ready. They did call me ahead of time of let me know they were coming early, which I appreciated. They were kind enough to help me finish packing the last few boxes free of charge as an apology for the inconvenience. | |Final recommendation - If you are not completely packed by the time you submit your final inventory and therefore cannot be 100% accurate you should underestimate the size and number of items that you have and do not prepay for any additional services such as a long-carry or a staircase. I also recommend that you measure all of your items and give them the exact measurements, particularly for furniture items. They use a system that assumes "standard measurements" but in my initial estimates the standard measurements were actually larger than several of my pieces. The estimates are binding and represent the absolute minimum you will pay, that means they will not, for any reason, adjust the price downward. I prepaid for a long-carry based on my knowledge of the new complex at the time, but the guys were able to figure out away to eliminate the long carry on the day that they delivered. In the end I also had fewer boxes and items than I originally planned. I hated walking away feeling like I overpaid for the service. This company is really busy so you have to book them in advance and they require a certain window of time between your finalized estimate and your scheduled pickup (I think it's 2-3 days). Underestimating means that you will need to have extra cash on hand or be prepared to pay by credit card (there's an extra service charge for this), however they are very upfront about the overage rates so you can do some guesstimates. In the end you will know that you paid only for the space and services that you actually used, which is much more satisfying.

Description of Work: The provider issue a written quote upon my request. However, there were a lot of hidden rules that would have cost me a lot of money, if I had not asked a lot of questions. The sales person got frustrated when I requested him to put some of their terms in writing.Unfortunately, because of his inpatient, I decided to go with another company.
