Woody's Tree Service

Quite well. They cut the trimmed wood to sizes I could use for firewood. I also requested that they clean a gutter near the trimmed trees and they did that for me.

services were performed as desired. Cleanup was very good. Very friendly crew.

Woody's performed all of the services agreed upon in an efficient and timely manner. We will certainly be using their services again in the future.

Taking advantage of the Angie's List BIG Deal Coupon, we originally contacted Woody's mid August and agreed Mark would come out on Sunday to discuss the work to be done and he gave us an estimate of $700. Due to the nature of the work we agreed it was best to be completed in the fall and we agreed on Saturday, October 19th. On Thursday, October 17th I called and left a message to confirm we were still on the schedule for the work to be done on Saturday and Janice then left me a voice mail message saying yes if someone was going to be home or did we need to reschedule. I called and left another message saying I planned to be home and asked what time they were coming as I felt 8:00am was the earliest in order not to disturb the neighbors on a Saturday morning. Did not receive any more calls or messages or confirmation of time. Saturday morning 9:30am I called office number and then Mark's cell and got voice mail on both. 10:00am received voice mail message from Mark asking if we still wanted the job done and is someone home. Called Mark and he said there had been a clerical error and he did not know I was on the schedule that day but could be out in the afternoon. I asked what time he said 3pm. I asked if he could really get the whole job done in 3 hrs. and he said probably and if not he could then finish it on Monday. 3:30pm we called and he said he would be here in 30-45 min. 4:15pm he called to say he wouldn't make it and would like to stop by Sunday morning to review the work to be done and complete the job on Monday morning. Monday afternoon I found out the hedger was broken and Mark said he would contact me on Tuesday with status update. As I did not hear from him, on Wednesday I called and left a message on his cell phone only to find out he had just called my husband and said they just completed the work. As it was dark when we arrived home, we had to wait until the next day to check that everything was done. All the work was done and 90% of everything trimmed had been cleaned up and we then raked, picked up and cleaned up numerous small branches and apples. All the trees and bushes look great and the initial customer service was also very good, but the communication and customer service in October was disappointing.

They did a terrific job. The were very professional. They put all the branches that were pruned in the front lawn and from there they put the branches in a huge chipper. The chipper turned the branches into saw dust which was then blown into the back of an inclosed truck. The tracked vehicle did not do any damage to the lawn. The men worked quickly and cleaned up every scrap from both the front and back yards. You would never know they had been there. I would definitely hire them again.

Called in advance, arrived on time, it went fine, this was a small project.

The contractor and I settled on a date that was convenient to us both. The first date they claimed I didn't confirm, however, I left work early and was home by the 4:30 to 6:30 window. No one showed up. I allowed them to reschedule for today 10/21. I left work early again for a 4 - 6 pm window. At 6:02 I received a call that they would not make the appointment. These people should be eliminated from your recommended list as they seem to not care about the customers that are the ones who keep them in business.

Bad description of work provided for the coupon. They never mentioned feet or anything. We needed trees trimmed down our very long driveway. They should have indicated what the coupon covered. They wasted about 2 weeks of my time....buying the coupon...waiting for them to get in touch with me.....waiting for them to come out for the estimate.....getting the estimate....and then finding out they were going to charge $1600.00 for the job. Very disappointed.

He hiked his price up to compensate for the Big Deal Coupon, which ended up being no deal at all. Did not call or show up when promised for the work.

Woody's did a great job and brought a large crew to get the job done thou roughly and quickly. They performed exactly the tasks as promised and cleaned up and took away all the debris.

Very pleased. I called to have them come out for an estimate and left a voicemail. They responded the same day and scheduled for them to come out and take a look at the work I wanted done. They had to reschedule the appointment, however they were willing to come by on Sunday to have a look. I was quoted that the work would be less than $300, and was told they could get the work done the week after next. They scheduled the work for a Monday, and came out at about 5:30pm and got the work done in about 45min. Good people, worked efficiently and left me the cut-up wood as requested. Cost came in at $275. I would absolutely recommend Woody's for any tree service.

My tree out front looked like it was dying - lots of dead branches or branches with only leaves on the end of the branch. Woody's came over to look at the tree first and told me it was not dying, just in need of a trim. I was greatly relieved as the tree provides a lot of shade in the summer. Communication was hard as I always had to leave a message, but in the end the tree trimming was perfect. My tree looks much much better and his crew was meticulous in cleaning up the mess when done. Only took a couple of hours to do a lot of work, and when he was done, the cleanup, and it was a mess, was exceptional. Much better than I could have done! All in all a great experience.

Things started well – initial date/time of service determined. Woody’s office called to reschedule for 9 am of the following Sat. At 10 am, after nobody arrived, I called to see what was causing the delay, and the office explained that they had the service scheduled later that day. At 4 pm, when nobody had come or called, I left a message to be sure the service would still be performed that day. Woody returned the call and said his team would be there by 5 pm. They were, and the job was done in less than an hour. Workers were cordial and efficient, leaving nothing but sawdust and logs of suitable size for the fireplace. At no extra charge, the team also cut another dead tree (already on the ground) into short pieces.

I had previously received estimate from vendor (several years ago)but then he had not kept appts to do work. When he came out to give estimate, I told him about previous contract. He asked to see it. Sent him contract so he could see prior quote. Instead of Mark calling to discuss an office person (Julie) sent an email response making excuses about previous quote and basically told me if I didn't like new quote I could ask Angie's list for a refund...that is what I am doing!

They finally came out to do the work for me after several delays. They did the job and it was real good. The only reason they came out was though was because I threatened to cancel. It also didn't hurt that I paid them $300 more for trimming trees.

Woody's did a great job. Fast, courteous and did good work.

They gave me 2 prices. One to take the trees down and another to chop up and remove the trees. They came out in the morning, on time, and were able to get all the work done by 6 in the evening. They cleaned up everything when they were done. I plan on using them in the future. They were spectacular. They got everything done that was promised, their estimate was right on and got it to me quickly. They used some heavy duty machines to do the work. They did not even damage the fence or get any on the highway.

Woody's Tree Service was very prompt at our request for an estimate with our difficult availabilitiy. Mark came out almost immediately and had a written quote the next day. We did have an issue with having them "miss" the initial scheduled date of work, but were very prompt at apologizing and working with us to reschedule the work ASAP. I'm very glad we still decided to go with Woody's... Mark from Woody's Tree Service is a great guy, very personable and friendly... he really took the time to explain the process to myself and even gave tons of attention to our 18 month old triplets!!! The crew was very efficient, process was smooth, price was fantastic, the tree trimming work was great, and they left the property very clean. My neighbors were impressed with their work, that I think they even ended up signing up for service with them, too. Going to have Woody's Tree Service come out again next season to evaluate some trees' health that were a concern of mine. I'd recommend to have Woody's Tree Service come out and give you an estimate if you are shopping around.. definitely worth talking to! A+++ in my book!

Woody's does a fine job of tree trimming. I have used them in the past and I have recommended them to other people as well. They normally come on time with several guys and some good equipment. This time I had them trim a willow tree of which they did a good job but when the bill came it was for $800 for trimming one tree. That seems like a ton of money for one tree but I feel that's my own fault for not asking for a quote up front.

I purchased $200.00 worth of tree service for $99.00. I had two dead branches removed from a tree in my back yard. I know Woody's was extremely busy that week but I had informed them that I was not in a hurry. I don't even know if I received $200.00 worth for my money. After they finished and had left, there were a lot of small branches on the ground which I had to pick up myself. I never felt like I had any personal service. However, the phone contact person was very professional and helpful. The fellow that came out was just in a hurry and it showed very obviously.

Woody's was so awesome! they scheduled me in soon, were very prompt, took care of add'l work that I asked for while they were there. Very fast and cleaned up! The trees look great! They even moved some big pine tress for me out of the goodness of their heart! I'd absolutely use them again!!

Woody's team worked really well. Used excellent hardware to achieve all the results I had hoped for. Great use of cherry picker to crown trees. Agile guys cut out dead branches and shreded everything.

Scheduling was easy. They initially came out to review the job and provide a quote. They then said they'd be there the following week. I contacted them at the end of the week and they ended up coming out over the weekend (which was unexpected but fine). However, when they showed, I had to go over the job again with them (the guy seemed to have no recollection of what needed to be done), and then they skipped the first tree and mistakenly did another. I then felt obligated to have all four trees done (the one they skipped was the worst of all of my trees) and the guy made me feel like he was doing me a favor by doing it for $200. They also used a machine to lift a guy up high, which my daughter loved watching, but I later discovered was not kind to my lawn as it drove in and out. It'll heal with time, but for now there are disappointing tire marks in my back yard. Otherwise, they did a nice job doing the ACTUAL work -- the trees look great and they cleaned up everything very nicely.

I called Woody's Tree Service twice. After the 2nd call they returned my call and said they would come out next week for an estimate. When a person arrived he provided a vague verbal estimate and did not give a written estimate. His verbal estimate was high compared to others. He could not give me an estimated time that the work could be completed. He stated, " I don't know a couple of weeks I guess" Seemed unprofessional.
