Description of Work: Used Woodys to trim my large willow tree in the side yard. this tree is about 50 years old and is massive. Woody's brought a huge crew and big equipment and took care of everything within a few hours, trimming, clearing, and grinding down all of excess wood. He also removed a small white pine from a berm and cleared and ground it up as well. Excellent job and I thought the price was fair and value was high. Would definitely use again.

Description of Work: Woody's tree service removed 3 large trees from my yard. They were prompt, helpful and clean! My yard looked exactly as they found it sans trees (sadly they were dead or dying). Mark and his crew were great.

Description of Work: They had a team of five or six men come out and trim three trees. I was home when they came and watched them. They climbed all over the trees and did everything I asked them to do. They were very professional. I couldn't believe how much they had cut down. After they were through every last bit was cleaned up.

Description of Work: An ash tree that fell victim to emerald ash borers was on its last legs and needed to be removed. I am admittedly partially to blame for the delay in getting the work underway. The spring is an understandably busy time of year in this business. Other prospective arborists did not respond to my query at all. Woody's reply was a little delayed, but once I was in contact with them, the response was immediate. My tree was evaluated and deemed worthy of removal the day after I receieved their reply. The removal was initiated the next day with the tree felled and sectioned. The next day the timber was removed and within a few days the stump was ground up. The cleanup was thorough and here was minimal impact to the surrounding yard.

Description of Work: I used Woody's in 2010. There were some minor problems during the removal of the designated trees but I was happy with their work. I have tried to contact them,8 times in the last 3 months, for more tree removal but have never received a callback. I have recommended them to others in the past but not this year.

Description of Work: They cut down one large Ash tree and trimmed several other large trees. A couple of them were hanging over the house. I was very pleased with the outcome. Janice was very responsive to my questions about the job. They arrived when they said they would. Everything was cleaned up after the job. It was a positive experience and I would not hesitate to call them again. I also provided Woody's Tree Service to my neighbors who need trees removed.

Description of Work: We had to be a little flexible in scheduling the service but they were worth waiting for. They did an excellent job at an excellent price. Very tidy in their clean up. Once we agreed upon a day, they were punctual and efficient. I will call Woody's again in the future. They cut down 2 trees and trimmed one. All wood was cut and brush cleared, yard raked. Very nice.

Description of Work: I needed a large dead oak tree cut down and removed. Woody's crew arrived on time and completed their job quickly and professionally. They raked and cleaned the area so well afterwards you wouldn't even know they'd been there. They did an excellent job at a good price. Over the years I've had other trees cut down by other companies. I will definitely be using Woody's from now on and would highly recommend them!

Description of Work: Initially, it took a couple of calls to connect with them to make an appointment. Several days after the appointment was made, I got a call at noontime one day asking if they could stop by and do my job that afternoon because they were already working in the area. | |I probably should have said "no" because I was concerned about them rushing to get the job done at the end of the day and they were dropping some large dead branches overhanging my roof. They did end up arriving later in the afternoon than I was originally told. It really felt like they were rushing the job. | |I definitely wasn't getting a feeling any more comfortable after the crew leader sat there saying things like "that's not the best way to tie off that branch". | |As the branches were being lowered they were hitting the roof, gutters, and the side of the house. After they were gone we got up on the roof to check and there wasn't any significant damage (some scratches on the metal roof and gutter sections that were slightly bent but easy enough to straighten), but it seemed like a lot of what I saw happening could have been avoided if time was taken to bring down the branches in smaller pieces. | |I did let the crew help themselves to bottles of water and soft drinks that were in my outdoor fridge. Sadly, after they left, several of the bottles were on the ground around where the trucks were parked. | |I used them because I purchased a $99 coupon for $200 of tree service and they had an "A" average for their ratings. In the end, no harm was done, but it wasn't a very confidence inspiring job.
