It was a great experience. Flawless and pleasant. The technician arrived promptly for our scheduled appointment. Upon entering our home he applied protective boot covers. He introduced himself, and proceeded to the furnace area. Adam was beyond pleasant, and efficient! He performed a complete check and test of the system, and cleaned the furnace. He took the time to explain what work was done, and even took the time to go back into the basement to cover and apply Top Tech's informational stickers. This was a great find on Angie 's list! I would highly recommend this company! We will continue to use them exclusively for our HVAC needs ( if we can request Adam :) ), and have referred Top Tech to our family and friends. Everything went fine. All questions were answered. We were also given some helpful hints on the furnace upkeep.

Overall the service tech was knowledgeable, identified a leak in our AC coils, recharged the system and did other routine maintenance in a reasonably quick fashion. Bit of a "salesman" but a friendly approach which was appreciated. UPDATE: Downgrading Responsiveness and Professionalism to C. First: they did eventually set up the furnace service, but I had to call them to do it. ANd I had already paid for it earlier in the summer. Had I not called, I do not believe at this point they would've called back. Do not use the "Summer - Winter" package deal unless you will remember to call them. Otherwise you may end up paying for a service you don't get a few months later. Second: Since this service took place, their sales people have been very pushy, constantly leaving me voicemails. I don't mean they're unfriendly but rather they don't leave you alone until you sign up again. I've received literally 5 or 6 voicemails in the last month. Take a hint! My AC is working well, otherwise I'd call you for maintenance! And during this same time period, I used their web form to get a quote for something I actually needed, and that email was never answered (been almost two weeks). Bottom-line: this is a sales-first company, even though they seem to do a competent job when they do come out for a service. I'll be getting my upgrades done by another company however.

The serviceman came early and completed the work competently and quickly.

We had an air-conditioning failure early in the summer. Dre from TopTec came on time, isolated the problem, and fixed it on the spot. Above and beyond that, he was kind enough to instruct myself and my son on how our system worked and how to properly maintain it (we had recently moved to this house). He was a godsend for both of us. Better still, noting that my son was truly fascinated with these systems, Dre encouraged him to follow along with everything he did so he could watch and learn. It was Dre's considerable kindness and sensitivity that truly impressed me. We called TopTec back for preparations for a small renovation project, and they noted that the air-conditioning unit was positioned inappropriately (both for code and for efficiency). We signed on to have them move it and to also clean our ducts (my husband has allergies). Once again, the crews were on time, thorough, helpful, and just plain sweet. We're extremely pleased with how things turned out, and we'd hire them again in a minute. These guys truly know what they're doing. They know the systems in these homes well, know their ins and outs and how to manage them well. They also are a great group of people. Bravo.

They were willing to come out the next day after calling, but I had get them on a better day. He was on time and got the work done in less time than the deal had listed. Overall, they did a great job.

We liked them a lot but we didn’t have them do the work because it was $17,000. We got three different quotes and theirs was the best and the most detailed. Everybody else had other fees associated with the village. They actually outlined the fees. Eventually we will do the project but we don't have the $17,000. They were great. We will eventually to do the project and we will ask them to requote. The owner came out and they had some people talk to the village about the project and they researched it very well. Their price was in line with everyone else but they were honest and more upfront about the actual costs. We called the guy a week earlier and they had the quote when they showed up at our house to look at it. They were on time when they said they would be there. They actually messed up on a boiler and they comped us for that service.

It went great. Called them on Monday morning and they had availability that afternoon. Andre was the professional that showed up. He was very pleasant. He took extra time to explain everything to me about the unit and generally how it all works. The service was absolutely excellent. He fixed the leak and advised me on how to best take care of my AC and Furnace going forward. Great job. I would recommend and definitely use again.

Our furnace went out in the middle of January on a Sunday. The Toptec technician arrived within a couple hours of calling. He was very nice and professional. He explained all our options on fixing the furnace or replacing it. We decided to replace it since our old furnace was 30 years old. He got the old furnace working enough to get us through the night. First thing in the morning the next day, Toptec arrived with the new furnace and installed it.

They were professional, they were prompt and finished the job accurately. I am very much satisfied with their service.

I had it originally scheduled for next week but due to the coming heat wave called them to see if they could make it out any earlier. Within 30 minutes the guy arrived and did a great job cleaning and checking our system. I was so impressed by this kind of service as they came out last minute to help us. Great job! There price after coupon was almost 30% cheaper then others in our area.

It all worked out to my satisfaction.

They were fast. I called them, and they were in the next day and got the work done in one day. I had to call out an extra person to get it done in time, but they did a good job at a good price.

Easy to have the technician come out. He was here the next day after I made the call. Everything works great.

Technician arrived on time but took forever to complete an inspection of our air conditioner. He cut an electrical line inside the central air unit and needed to replace it. I also asked him to let me know if he needed to access the room where we had our small dog gated in; he not only let the dog out of the room but also out of the house without our permission. The actual work completed was fine, but I think others could have done the same job more quickly and efficiently. I would not use this company again.

They were the low bid that I received. They sent a 3 man crew and completed the job in one day, on the day after I accepted their bid. There were 2 fairly minor problems. At one point, I looked at what they were doing and suggested that they might have crossed 2 pipe connections. They agreed and quickly corrected the problem. They would have discovered it when they started the system.The following morning, 3 of the 4 zones were not getting heat. I bled additional air from those zones, and did not need to call them back. Otherwise, they were very professional. There was also one problem that was not their fault at all. When up they started up the system, they quickly determined that was not working properly. It took almost an hour of head scratching for them to conclude that two wires internal to the boiler's control unit had been crossed at the factory. They rewired it and the problem was solved. I was impressed that they were able to diagnose this kind of problem. I am sure that some techs would just have decided that they needed to order a new control unit.

Joel, the owner, was great to work with. We were looking for answers on why different rooms were different temperatures. He took the time to explain things thoroughly, let us know what changes would need to be made and how he would fix the issues. He provided a detailed estimate within 3 days but we were unable to do the work at that time. We will be looking forward to work with Toptec in the future.

Came out to fix two humidifiers, ended up replacing two saddle valves with new stop valves as the old ones were preventing water from getting to the humidifiers. Only one humidifier worked following the valve replacement and the tech suggested replacing the humidifier. He quoted me 700 to replace it. I ended up getting 3 other estimates all of which were lower. I ultimately got both old humidifiers replaced for 525. TopTec prices were high, but the tech did a good job installing the valvues and sweating the copper piping.

A routine service call uncovered some obvious and serious problems with our furnace and its ventilation system. Top Tec handled everything on schedule.

They are okay; we have had no complaints. They call every year to remind us of our service calls and to renew our annual contract. If their price stays competitive we will use them again in the future.

Overall, it went very well. They were very polite and helpful. They were also reasonably priced.

TOPTEC applied for and got the County Permits required and poured the concrete pad for the generator and then properly installed that onto the pad and completed connecting the gas line for the generator to run from natural gas. TOPTEC then installed the new furnace in a matter of a couple of hours I highly recommend TOPTEC for any ELECTRICAL, GENERATOR INSTALL, FURNACE INSTALL, as well as AIR DUCT installation and inspection. They are easy to work with and extremely knowledgeable about all the work they do.

Technician was friendly and knowledgeable. Diagnosed problem quickly and was able to do repairs on same visit.

The quality of their work is very good. I also used them in the Summer to tune up my A/C. I would highly recommend them. They put the covers on their shoes so they don't mess up the floors.

Nothing exceptional stood out about them. But they were satisfactory. They did what they came out to do. As long as it is working I was happy. We would use them in the future.
