Anthony was fabulous. He was easy to schedule with and then was in touch regarding approximately when he would arrive. He wasn't threatening or unreasonable the way many companies are regarding time. He came in and was courteous and concise about what I needed to provide. I had to leave shortly after he arrived. When I came back later, everything was clean, and I had a beautiful ceiling fan and new switch installed!! I would highly recommend Anthony.

I called Rein electric and Anthony called me back within 5 minutes, and was on his way to my house within 10 min. He came to our house, diagnosed the problem and replaced a defective breaker in the electrical panel. No more buzzing. No more flickering. Anthony is very knowledgeable and I would recommend him.

Great experience - Scheduled a time for a day that worked for me - Saturday (probably between 11-1 but he would let me know for sure) after I told him that I wasn't in any sort of a hurry. Anthony called me on Saturday (noon) to let me know that his guy was running a little late due to the morning job taking a little longer than expected and that he would let me know 45 minutes before his guy could make it over (since I was going to be running errands). He called me a few hours later and asked if it would be possible to reschedule (I got the impression that if I said 'no' that he would have still made it out. He bent over backwards to set up a time that would work for me (Monday afternoon). Monday afternoon, the electrician arrived right on time, and was extremely polite and professional. His shoes appeared clean, but he still put on shoe protectors to make sure he didn't get my carpet dirty, used tarps everywhere he worked, and cleaned up completely after he was done. Upon finishing the job, he made sure I was comfortable with what was done, explained the operation of the unit, packed everything up quickly and quietly and left. I could not be more pleased with the quality of the job, the speed with which it was completed, the cleanliness of the electrician, the pricing, or the communication.

I purchased Angie's List's Big Deal for Anthony's company and needless to say I am glad I did. As I am not originally from Chicago and don't have a lifetime full of contacts, it's difficult to find trustworthy service companies that you feel you can rely on. However, I have found that with Anthony. He and Paul showed up on time, and were in and out in an hour after replacing my ceiling fan, answering all of my questions and even recommending some new restaurants around the city to try. They were both very professional and honest. The fan looks great. I would recommend these guys for any of the services they offer as after meeting Anthony, you know you're getting great service.

Couldn't have gone better. Prompt for the appointment and excellent installation job. I tend to do a lot of these types of projects myself, but with the fantastic price on Angie's Big Deal, I thought I'd let the guys from Rein Electric handle it. I'm glad I did! Will definately use them again for future electical projects.

Anthony promptly scheduled my appointment and showed up exactly when expected. I had purchased a ceiling fan for the job and was uncertain as to it's quality so I asked Anthony what he thought when he arrived, and he said that sometimes he has had difficulty with that brand of fan wobbling. He offered to delay the installation till I could get a fan that was better (even though he had driven here and already set aside the time) and he gave me several suggestions of brands and approximate prices that would be good alternatives. Because he did have to install a box in the ceiling he said he'd wait for me to get the new fan while he was installing the box, and would then put it in. He even gave me his cell number in case I had any questions when I was at the store. I came back with the fan, he installed it perfectly, with a special switch for the wall that controlled the fan speed and all my lights. He covered everything in the room with plastic, was extremely neat and clean, couldn't have been nicer, along with his helper Paul and even helped me look on-line for a wall fan for anther room. I will definitely use his services for all my electrical needs from now on.

Anthony was very responsive when I contacted him to schedule the appointment (despite the fact that he was very busy due to this "Big Deal" offering). He scheduled me a week later, showed up right on time and did a fantastic job. Everything was left in excellent condition as they covered all our belongings and vacummed to ensure they left the rooms the way they found them. I would highly recommend Anthony and his team and will use him in the future for any electric needs.

Anthony arrived right on time and got straight to work. He had to climb into our attic using my son's bunk bed and then work his way across the attic thru loose insulation. My husband has gone up there once to do some work and swears to never return. They put down covers over everything. They didn't need to put a huge hole in the ceiling. The job only took about an hour and a half and the fan was installed, works perfectly and there was no mess. I would definitely use Rein again for their overall quality and professionalism. I had bought a Big Deal coupon for this work and am very please with the price and minimal effort on my part.

Things went well. I had never tested the wiring in the ceiling and when it wasn't getting any power they diagnosed the problem and replaces the bad switch.

Our plumber had discovered something unusual and unsafe while working to replace a burst pipe in our horse barn. He suggested -and we agreed - to put our project on hold until that was resolved. Upon his recommendation we called Anthony Rein at Rein Electric. He came right out - either that day or next day - to check things over - and quickly discovered that the electrical service to our barn and it's water supply had no grounding system. He gave us a quote and we set a date to get the job done asap. Our project was complete within about 4 hours - and they were very good to do the work as we hoped - so as not to look obvious or out of place - especially in our nicely finished feed room. He also went an extra mile by adding an additional grounding rod - that's time and material above his quoted price - for no additional charge. We have called with subsequent questions - and everything about Anthony is professional, thoughtful, friendly. We were needing a 'go-to-electrican' and we have found one!

This company is wonderful. I had my proposal within 3 days of calling Anthony. He helped me get the permit from the county, something I had never done before and it went smoothly. Jonathon and Paul did a wonderful job with the work which proved to be more involved than originally expected. Apparently the builders of my townhouse were very creative in running the electrical lines and Jonathon spent some time up in the attic figuring things out. They worked well and were very professional. I have some additional work to be done after the cabinets are replaced in the kitchen and Anthony is working up a proposal for that already. I would recommend this company to my family and friends without hesitation.

We purchased the Angie's list special dimmer switch installation. We also had other wiring work we needed done. The electrician, Paul, was thorough and efficient and arrived when he said he would. The switches installed are top-notch. Paul determined it wasn't the doorbell that was broken, just the outside push button, and he replaced that saving us the cost of a new doorbell and installation.

Anthony was quick and professional and was able to squeeze my appointment in a short time frame. I would recommend his services and I plan to use him again myself in the future.

Anthony answered my initial call immediately and we were able to schedule a repair date for the following week on a day that I could be home. Anthony was prompt, courteous and professional. The reparis were reasonably priced. I would definitely use him again.

Anthony's crew was awesome. They showed up on time, were very professional, did all the work exceeding my expectations. A small wall repair was needed after installing the pendant lighting. The wall was patched and painted the next day by a member of the crew! My room was left as though they had never been there. And the lighting is beautiful and the cables for the television are gone! These guys are awesome!

Very well, his team was in and out in no time. They were very professional and courteous. They made sure the premise was clean when they left. I would recommend them and would use them again.

We needed several new outlets in our kitchen installed before our new kitchen went in. We called about the job and had a guy out to help us within a day or two. He got the job done the morning of the kitchen cabinet install! It was important to get fast help, because it would have been far more difficult to do electrical after all the cabinets went in. The guy was extremely helpful. He helped to create a hard-wire link and explained how we would install the dishwasher, which gave me peace of mind. We would definitely call Rein again in the future!

Rein is timely, upfront, professional, honest. This is a vendor who focuses on quality and getting it done right the first time. They also understand deadlines and making it work. We where up against a city inspection deadline and they helped us meet it. Gets to work early and prepared and gives good advice on making the home safe without costing too much. Anothony is also easy to reach via mobile email and always answers the voice mails.

We had water inside our electric panel. I could not tell the source and if it had done damage. I sent an email to Rein Electric via Angies List - on a Saturday no less - and Anthony Rein called me within an hour of my email. He and I discussed the situation and he was out to my home promptly on the following Monday. Anthony and an associate examined my panel, determined it was a condensation problem caused by lack of proper insulation both inside and outside of the box, and insulated the box. They also examined all of the wiring to ensure everything was in good working order and that no corrosion had taken place.

Called Rein mostly because of ther good reviews on Angies List. They responded immediately and provided a bid right away. The only problem was I had told them I need the bid to include the post, fixtures and labor. There bid came back and only included the labor. But overall they were very responsive and i wouldn't be afraid to have them bid again.

Overall it went great. Anthony Rein was helpful, prompt and professional. .

I have never had such a wonderful experience with a home project such as this. I was so impressed with Anthony Rein, the owner, the first time we spoke, that I felt confident his work would meet my expectations. He is professional, punctual and a highly skilled electrician. We had dealt with other electricians and they advised us against moving both electrical boxes for the light fixture and the fan. Anthony said it could be done and he did a great job. He explained the process thoroughly so we new what to expect. There were no surprises. His electricians were competent and extremely neat. His price for the job was very reasonable and the quality of the work exceeded our expectations. We will definitely use Rein Electric again since we have some outside projects in the Spring.
