Very professional job! Electrician was courteous, and cleaned up any mess as a result of the installation! I let Rein know a few days before the appt, that the junction box for the fan needed to be moved from its current location in order to install the fan. No problems, some additional cost but that was expected. He was able to get into my attic (not easy to access) and move the junction box in no time at all! The fan was then installed quickly, and looks great! I would certainly use this company again.

I was satisfied with them. He was very good. They came on time and did a god job. They knew what they were doing. They stuck to the price they quoted.

Our dimming fluorescent fixture in our exercise room was not working. And our previous electricians went out of business. So we called Rein Electric. They diagnosed the problem, ordered the replacement ballast, and repaired it. The replacement ballast requires a custom order, so that took awhile. And the first one they received didn't work, but they didn't charge us for that visit. They were courteous, professional, wore booties while in our home, and cleaned-up after their work. Overall, very good.

I called Rein, made an appointment for early in the morning for a day I had off of work. Paul and Miska arrived in a timely manner (huge snowstorm-slow traffic), apologized for not being on the minute. At the door they put on protective booties, and inspected the job. Paul explained the hourly fee + parts and with my approval, went to work. In short order the problem was diagnosed, the parts retrieved from the truck, and the work competed promptly. Clean up was flawless. Paul's explanation of the system failure was at my comprehensive level. Job was done professionally and on time/budget.

There were 2 guys who came to do the work. They did an excellent job. They were prompt, they had great personalities, and they finished in just 4 hours. I was very pretty impressed.

Given how bad ComEd has been over the last few years, I decided to get a whole-house surge protector. Even though my insurance would cover this kind of damage, I have a high deductible and would prefer to avoid any damage if possible. With most appliances now featuring sensitive electronic controls, it is more likely that they get damaged. Twice, in different homes, I had issues during storms that fried the alarm system (both times), a whirlpool motor, an intercom system, some surge protectors (Belkin replaces theirs free of charge), a clock-radio, and a VCR. I had a friend whose kitchen appliances all were fried in addition to some electronics. Soon after I purchased the Angie's Deal, Rein contacted me and set up an appointment. They were very courteous. I had to reschedule, called in advance, and there was no problem. They were very nice and set up an appointment for the following week. The contractor arrived shortly after 8 AM as scheduled. He was dressed very professionally in a uniform and very polite. When I showed him the electrical circuit panel in the utility room, he showed me the surge protector, explained that he would have to cut a hole in the drywall and would insert the device in the wall and connect it to the panel. He would need to use two slots for the surge protector. There was plenty of room so there was no issue. After he finished, he explained that there were two green lights in the device and both should always be lit when the device is working. He showed me the two circuit breakers for the device and said if the green lights are not on, to check the breakers. If the lights are still not green after flipping the breakers, then the unit would need to be replaced. The unit has a limited lifetime warranty. He gave me the warranty which covers electronic equipment including appliances damaged by surges (up to the insurance deductible provided you have receipts). I mentioned that I should have gotten a second unit for the other unit and he said he had an extra in the truck that he would install for the same price so I agreed. He cleaned up everything after he was done. There was no dust from the wallboard, wire clippings or anything else for me to clean up; he had done it all. If your circuit breaker is located in an area where you don't want a rough cut hole, you may want to discuss this with Rein in advance to see if there are more esthetically pleasing ways of installing the unit. The devices are not expensive but it is not a DYS project given they have to be attached to the circuit panel.

My husband called and scheduled an appointment within 5 days of the phone call. They accommodated our work schedules and came early in the morning. Paul was very professional and got the job done efficiently and to our satisfaction. We received an Angie's list discount.

Rein Electric was the featured provider for an Angie's List "The Big Deal" whole-house surge protector installation. Within just a few days of my purchasing the Big Deal on line, I received a call from Rein to shedule an appointment. On the day of the appointment, the Rein electrician, Paul, arrived promptly in the morning. He was very polite and throughly explained what he was going to do. He worked very efficiently. After the surge protector was installed, he then showed me how to "read" the device to assure it was engaged, and how to detect if a power surge had occurred. I was very happy with the work performed, and will definitiely use Rein Electric again.

Installation took just over an hour and was well done. The installer came on time and showed me the white whole-home surge protector, also explaining that it had to be installed on both phases and tied to two different circuits. This wasn't a problem. If anything, my only comment is that now my electrical box is slightly askew to the wall, but I stopped noticing it a while ago. The surge protector has already been useful; two nights later it stopped a whole series of surges entering the house (while the voltage fluctuated wildly, the lights didn't get significantly brighter like they once did).

Visit to house was as scheduled, the electrician was polite, wore shoe protectors upon entering house, completed all work in a timely fashion and explained work just completed.

I was surprised that they called me to set up an appointment! And the serviceman arrived on time and completed the work very quickly and efficiently. I was also pleasantly surprised that he put on plastic booties before walking into my house, which I appreciate as well.

I purchased a Big Deal to have a cieling fan installed which required the installation of an electical junction box in the ceiling first. I was able to schedule the appointment at a convenient time and not too long after the purchase of the deal. The two technicans that came to do the installation were very professional and knowledgable and courteous. The job required one to climb into the hot attic for part of the installation. For the amount of time they had to spend installing the necessary components, I thought the price was very fair. The room was left in perfect order as well. I will definitely call Rein Electric for any additional electrical needs we have in the future.

Anthony came to the house before hand to see the scope of work I wanted done and then recommended paying a dayrate charge of $1200 for 2 workers for 8 hours because he felt the work could likely be accomplished in that timeframe. I agreed and moved forward. The two technicians (Paul and Eugene) showed up on time and worked hard the whole time they were at my house. They finished everything I wanted to address in about 8.5 hours. I also apppreciated that Paul kept me informed on what he was finding (wiring/switch wise) throughout the process so I could make changes to how things were wired based on what made the most sense for us. They didn't charge for the extra half hour of work and I used the 12% discount coupon Rein has on the List. I did supply my own materials (lights, switches, and outlets), so the price I paid was for labor only. All in all a great experience!

They did a good job. They came when they said they would be here for the quote. There was a small problem with a time to do the actual work and some follow up work. After they came the front light wasn’t working. I had to call them back. When I had to have them come back out, I had to make a couple of calls to get them since he had us scheduled for a different time than they had said.

The guys were very professional. They crawled around in the crawl space under the house and found openings to the outside so they could pull the cables through without difficulty. They connected the new cables to existing locations so Comcast could easily install their system.

On the day after Thanksgiving, I sent an email to the company requesting a call back for an appointment. I did not expect to hear from anyone until Monday, but Anthony Rein called me back within an hour or two. He was very polite and said that he could have someone out possibly on Saturday (the next day), or definitely on Monday. Since it was not an emergency, I told him Monday would be just fine and we settled on a time. Paul called to tell me he was on the way, arrived on time, and was very polite and professional. He replaced the GFI and also caulked around the outlet to prevent the problem from happening again (I had had this outlet fixed a couple of years ago by someone else who did not caulk around the outlet). I can't recommend this company highly enough. I will use them for all of my future electrical needs, big and small.

Rein came a long way to do our work, but it was worth it. The workmen did a nice job of installing the doorbell, and helped diagnose a problem with the chimes. After I bought the same kind of chimes at the Home Depot, they quickly installed it and the front bell works great now! They removed an old speaker from a previous owner's alarm system and tucked the wires inside the holes in the brick. We also have a sump pump with a back up battery, and they advised us on where to plug them in and let us know that special outlets were not needed. They were neat and efficient, and knew what they were doing.

Needed a quick repair, but had to schedule around my availability. My work schedule was accommodated, and the work was accomplished promptly and professionally. Electrician was friendly, courteous, and tidy.

Perfect! Paul diagnosed the problem immediately and set to work. I had three outlets in my kitchen that were not working. He installed a new outlet and everything was working perfectly. Paul was professional and thorough. I keep their card on my fridge. I will definitely use them again.

A while ago, I purchased two Angie's List "Big Deal" coupons to have two fans installed. The coupon seemed like a good deal, and Rein had good reviews on the list. Recently, I finally got around to buying the fans we wanted to have installed. Setting up the appointments was easy and straightforward. The installer was right on time and very friendly. The installer asked several questions about exactly I wanted the fans to be set up and obviously cared about doing a good job and doing the work the right way. Sometimes, you feel like a contractor is just working for you to make money (and that's fine, they're a business!) and doesn't really care that much about doing a good job, but this installer really made me feel like he cared about customer satisfaction and wanted to earn my business as a repeat customer. The fans look great, and the price with the coupons was extremely competitive. The installer even asked me if I wanted him to install a dimmer that was sitting in the room where one of the fans was being installed and that I hadn't gotten around to installing myself, and did so for no additional charge. I definitely will plan to work with Rein in the future. I was extremely pleased with the service, professionalism and price, and finding companies like this one are exactly the reason I value being a member of Angie's List.

Anthony was very quick to respond after my initial call, and came out to do an estimate in a timely manner. He gave me a day rate that was fair. I was on a tight turnaround and tight budget and he and the guys really came through for me. Kelly and Mishka worked all day on the Saturday after Thanksgiving to get my electrical panel upgraded and 3 new outlets in! My 1928 plaster home poses some challenges when it comes to upgrading things like electrical, and Kelly and Mishka worked hard to get it done right.

The outdoor wall light is working well and looks good. Our walkway light lines are nicely barried.

The tecnician, Paul, was great. He called two hours before the scheduled time and said he was running early and was it OK to come. When I enthusiatically said yes, he was there in 15 minutes, got right to work and finished in no time. He cleaned up after himself, gave me an estimate for another job I was considering, and on the way out noticed that an old ceiling fixture was loose. He fixed it at no charge. I am definitely using them again!!
