They came right on time and brought a drop cloth so that they would not make a mess or scratch the floor. They took the old ceiling fans off, and realized that the wiring was very old. I originally wanted new ceiling fans installed to replace the old ones. They said that the wiring was too old and frail to support ceiling fans. I had to find chandeliers to put up instead. They came back after I got the light fixtures and installed them. There was no extra charge to come back.

We hired Rein electric to replace our 40 years old panel. It was a challenging job due to tight working space and complex wiring, yet they got the job done professionally in 8 hours. The electrician did run out of time to complete the labeling on that day, but Anthony, the owner came out later and finished it. Working with Anthony is wonderful because he is responsive (the first one came out to give us quote), professional, and flexible (at matching competitors' quotes). I would definitely recommend Rein electric to my friends.

They arrived promptly, as scheduled, and performed the installation as described in the 'Big Deal'. I was surprised to learn, however, that this is a single-use surge protector, so it will need to be replaced if we have a major power surge. So far, so good.

It went fine. The electrician arrived on time, got right down to work and installed the circuit breaker along with a couple of extra double fuses to avoid overload. He tightened loose connections, since the panel was over 30 years old. He cleaned up after himself and left after completing all work to my satisfaction.

Anthony and his crew were professional, experienced and punctual. Anthony came a day after I called to look at the room. He described my options and his recommendation. That day he emailed me a quote. I scheduled the job a few weeks after receiving the quote. The men were on time and completed the job as projected. Anthony and his crew were very nice to work with. They did an awesome job.

Chris arrived before the scheduled time. After a brief inspection of the electric panel, he determined how and where the surge protector was to be installed, what re-wriing needed to be done, and which circuit breakers needed to be replaced. The entire job was done using the pre-paid coupon.

In mid-August I purchased an Angie's List "Big Deal" for installation of whole-house surge protection and electrical panel inspection for $159. After waiting several weeks to schedule the appointment after because it was difficult to find a date where someone from our family be home during the day, we set up an appointment for October 26. My husband was home awaiting the arrival of Chris, when, 15 minutes before the end of the scheduled time frame for arrival, Chris called to say he'd be unable to keep the appointment because an earlier job had taken far longer than expected. My husband was very upset, since it had been so difficult to schedule the appointment in the first place. I called Rein Electric and left a voice message expressing our dissatisfaction and asking for a refund. Anthony Rein personally called me back to apologize, asked if we would consider rescheduling, and that he would install "the upgrade" at no additional cost. He gave me his personal cell phone number so I could contact him directly to set up the new appointment, which I appreciated. When I did call him 2 weeks later to reschedule, he immediately remembered me and reiterated his promise to "install the upgrade" at no cost. Anthony personally came for the appointment and was right on time. He immediately set to work inspecting our electrical panel and tightening connections, etc. After he was done, he called me down to show me the installed surge protector and explained how it would work to protect the electrical appliances in our home, and what to look for to know if there has been an electrical surge. He also pointed out some fraying on the cable leading to our electric stove and recommended that the cable be replaced at some point, and said he would work up a quote on the replacement cost and email it to me. He did not mention - and I failed to ask - if the surge protector he installed was an "upgrade". I lack the knowledge to know if it was, but I assume Anthony did follow through on this. I feel Anthony handled our complaint about the appointment cancelled by his workman in a professional manner and took a personal interest in trying to repair the "damage" caused by the cancellation. I appreciated his effort to "make things right". He seems knowledgeable and experienced and is a pleasant fellow. However, it's been more than 2 weeks since he was here and I still haven't received the quote he indicated he would email to me. I would consider using Rein Electric in the future, but only in a situation where I wasn't heavily relying on them.

Technician came on time as scheduled appointment, found out I need 2 panels whereas the Angie's List coupon deal is just for one panel, ran out to nearby Home Depot to buy another one and did the job quickly and cleanly, reasonable price.

The whole experience went very smoothly. I called for the appointment and booked a convenient time slot for a couple days later. The technician arrived on time and completed the work within a few hours; he was very pleasant and helpful. He got a lot of things done very productively, as can be seen in the list of completed projects. The job was done thoroughly and all the work areas were tidy upon completion. I would be happy to use Rein Electric again for future electrical needs!

I used an Angie's List offer to hire Rein Electrical to install a ceiling fan where I already had a light in place. The team was punctual and professional. No problems with the work done.

Rein Electric Inc were very professional. They were on time and they were efficient.

They installed a ceiling fan in our bedroom. The job they completed was good however they day they came out for the job they sent two guys out and they said there would be additional $150 charge because they sent two men. I just feel that I was upfront with them about the coupon when I made the appointment but they did not inform me of the additional cost.

In making the appointment with the scheduler (my apologies as I forget her name), she was very knowledgeable in determining which surge protector would be needed and if it would need to be ordered or not. I was told it would take about an hour to complete the install and inspection. I was able to schedule the appointment two months out due to my own time constraints. When Paul arrived, he was courteous to knock instead of using the doorbell due to the early hour (7am). After putting on booties, and examining the electrical panel, he advised what he was going to do. In preparation of the surge protector being installed, I had shut down computers and other electric devices anticipating the need to cut the power to the whole house. Paul explained this was not necessary and that only two breakers needed to be turned off for the job. He proceeded to complete the requested work and praised the prior work within the electrical panel as all was neat and tidy (not a Holmes on Homes disaster). Work was done as promised and in less time than quoted. Very pleased! Thank you!

Patiently listened the problem and provided solution options. Very flexible and cooperative approach.

They did a great job. They came in asked where the fuses were and it took him about 10mins to put in a device. Very good.
