Previous owners of the home did not have a vent fan in our upper level bathroom. I was scheduled to have more attic insulation installed in early December, and I wanted to have the bath fan installed prior to the insulation. I did this for 2 reasons: 1.) the insulation company specialized in exhaust ducting installation, and I wanted them to do this portion of the work (which required the fan to be installed before the insulators arrived); 2.) I didn't want anyone to have to "rough up" the blown-in insulation in order to install the bath fan exhaust ducting. I sent a detailed message that outlined the scope of my work to Rein through Angie's List to get a quote (cut hole in ceiling drywall, install customer-provided vent fan, run wiring through existing conduit down to existing wall switch, install new 2-button switch). The timing of my insulation installation did not allow for a Rein representative to come and see the job personally, but Rein was able to provide a rough estimate for the job (it was basically entirely labor cost). Rein was flexible to accommodate my schedule. We originally planned to have the technician come at 8am, but Rein had to push it back to 10 (which they called me to confirm that this was acceptable). Due to some kind of scheduling snafu on their end, the technician actually arrived at about 8:45am (only non-positive aspect of the experience), but this did not cause a problem. The technician (Mike) was professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. We discussed the job, I showed him the vent fan and other parts I purchased (see below for details), and he got to work. Customer-purchased components: - bathroom vent fan - 2-button wall switch - panel for 2-button wall switch - vent fan mounting kit (not used) - vent fan exhaust kit (not used) When Mike was finished he demonstrated that the new vent fan was working properly and that the existing light would turn on/off with the new switch. He cleaned up the bathroom of major debris and put the trash in the vent fan's box for customer disposal. I'll need to go through with a vacuum to remove drywall dust and tiny pieces, but Mike generally did a good job with clean up. Mike then took care of the paperwork, gave me some kind of "Angie's List discount" (I didn't ask for more specifics), and he was on his way. I will definitely be including Rein in future bids for electrical work, and I would recommend them based on Mike's quality of work and the overall experience I had with the company.

Anthony replied to my email within minutes and the great service continued from there!. Although the quote was not the cheapest, I went with Rein as I felt very comfortable with his professional manner and service.He was extremely professional, listened to our requirements and accommodated our schedule. I would definitely recommend this company.

Kelly the electrician was prompt and fair w/ pricing. A very nice and skilled electrician. I have requested them to complete other electrical work in the house and scheduled with the secretary.

Things went very well. The only issue i had was that it took about 2 weeks in advance to book the appointment, as that is how busy they were. They came out, on time, listened to my explanation of the situation; began testing, kept me informed, found the problem, showed me the problem, corrected it; and the charge was reasonable and fair. A very good experience and I will use them again.

I had two guys that came out and did the installs. They were very professional and courterous. Put down a tarp where they were working. They cleaned up and left everything in really good condition. I was very impressed with the work they did. They worked continuously and completed the job in great fashion. I would definetely recommend them to anyone.......

I haven't hired an electrician yet. The company I expected to hire visited my house on Wednesday October 30th. After about an hour, Paul said he thought my electrical outlet work would be about $360 and I should likely get a $40 reduction since I am an Angie's List member. I asked about a more definite quote via email and Paul said I'd get it later that day or by Thursday at the latest. Since I hadn't received anything from Rein Electric on November 4th, I called Rein. The woman who answered told me she had no information about my quote or anything else. (She's the woman who set up my appointment weeks earlier!) This is when I told her I wouldn't be using them (Rein Electric) since they couldn't even provide me with a written quote as Paul stated. Prior to hanging up, I told the woman to have a nice day. Would I use Rein Electric for a future job? Not a Chance! Would I recommend anyone else use Rein Electric for a job? Not in this lifetime!!!

They did a good job. It turned out that in order to do what they advertised, they had to get much more involved which was by no fault of their own. They ended up having to do some bracing because of where the fan was to be installed. They worked with on the extra cost and did a good job overall.

Eric responded quickly to my initial inquiry and provided a base estimate based on a photo I sent. upon further discussion he provided some potential options that were more in line with what we looked to do. Eric was helpful and responsive. I would have been happy to work with them but was able to get someone out to fix the issue a little sooner than Rein was available to come out and I was pressed for time.

the service man was courteous on the phone and arranged a time to come through. Was on time. Walked me through the current box and addressed one concern I had about a switch and noise the box would make. Had a part in van to fix said concern for minimal cost. installed teh surge protector. overall a great experience

The estimator came out promptly and sent us an estimate via email. The estimate cost for each of the parts that might be need to be replaced. Once we agreed to the repair they were out within two days with all the parts. The repair took under an hour and only two of three potential replacement parts were needed. The actual cost for the repair came in under the estimate. No problems with the repair.

It was great. What stood out was their promptness, friendliness and the quality of their work. I would recommend them.

The installer showed up promptly and installed the surge protector quickly. He then explained to me exactly what he did, how the surge protector worked and how it fit into my electrical box. He was very courteous and thorough.

I called Rein a few months ago to have four ceiling fans installed in a newly built home that already had the ceiling fan connections. They scheduled my appointment for a week or so after the call and told me an electrician names Kevin would be out. Kevin arrived and was very punctual. He installed all fans and hooked up to the light switch. My guest room had a slight issue with the switch at a later date and I called and they sent Kevin back out to fix the issue. All is taken care if. They were very nice and professional .

We bough an Angies list deal to install three ceiling fans in our bedrooms. The rooms also needed to have a ceiling can installed, as the electrical wasn't run to the ceiling, ie there was no existing ceiling fixture. They were very prompt and professional. Cleaned up after themselves. I would use them again.

I had ordered my heating ducts to be cleaned. The package bought was a bit misleading because there were a list of things not included that needed to be purchased in addition for the ducts to actually be cleaned. I was sold a UV light system that was supposed to sanitize the air. The UV system is probably ok but it caused my humidifier to malfunction. The guys that came out were so nice and hardworking though so I would give them the highest score possible.

Quick easy install of surge protector purchased from their deal. They called quickly to make an appointment and were prompt on their arrival.

I found Anthony very professional and helpful with his advice. He was flexible in positioning the new wall outlet even though we'd agreed something different when he gave me an initial estimate. Overall - a trouble free and pleasant experience.

The appointment was set between 2:00 & 4:00 PM. At 4:30 PM when nobody showed up, I called and left a message on Anthony's cell. Shortly after I left the message, Anthony called back, very apologetic, saying that, somehow, my appointment was moved to a different date. However, Anthony was very quick to acknowledge the mistake and instead of trying make excuses, he got to work right away to try and remedy the situation. Within 30-40 minutes, I had an electrician at my house. Shortly after he arrived, Anthony showed up himself to help finish the job quicker. While the later time was frustrating, I have a lot of respect for a business owner who can admit when a mistake is made and take a personal interest in making sure his obligation is fulfilled. For that reason, I would use Rein Electric again and recommend them to anyone needing electrical work.

Paul did a great job, all work was completed exactly as requested and described for the estimate. He took his time ensuring that all of our requirements for switches and outlets were met.
