Kelly arrived just a little after end of promised window. He was friendly, informative and efficient. He explained what each part of the work would cost before starting. No complaints at all on our part. Plus, locating a reliable electrician--so delighted! Thank you, Angie's list, We will call Rein again, definitely!

It went well, very thorough inspection of my electrical system. Friendly serviceman I had out previously.

I needed to find two transformers that connected to our kitchen lights. I couldn't find them myself so I had an electrician come in; he had no idea where they were. I had a second electrician look for them and he erroneously thought they were in the base of the ceiling fan. Mike from Rein came and within 10 minutes he located the transformers. I will definitely use him for my future electric needs.

Our technician Paul was skilled, pleasant and professional. He went right to work and repaired all of our electrical issues. Fast, reliable work for a fair price. I will definitely use them again.

The technician was on time and worked very quickly. He explained problems he found and also how he planned to correct them. The whole experience was very good.

Everything went well. Kerry was our electrician, he is very careful and pays attention to the details. Installing the 3rd coach light involved running electrical from the existing box from the coach light on the left side of the garage to the new light location on the far side of the garage. The inside of our garage is drywalled, and he was able to eliminate all damage to the drywall by smartly installing and running the conduit to the other side of the garage. After running the power, he carefully hung all 3 lights and caulked around them to keep out the weather. After that Kerry installed the timer / switch to control the coach lights. It was a timer I hadn't seen before that is very flexible in how you program it. We have the lights set to come on at sunset and off at midnight. The timer knows sunset/sunrise based on the latitude and longitude and time of day. No more coming on when a storm passes by and causes it to get dark outside! When the timer was installed, Kerry went around and replaced the old hardwired smoke detectors with new hardwired combo units. Kerry and Rein Electric did a great job. It was around 20 degrees F that day with a bit of a wind. Kerry worked on things outside for nearly 4.5 hours before coming inside to do the indoor work. I felt I got a quality job and would most definitely use Rein again on future projects. We couldn't be happier with how things went.

This is my second job with Rein. I think I've found my go to electrician - I've been happy with the work performed on both jobs. Work was done on time and at the agreed price. Tradesmen arrived on time and were courteous and knowledgeable. They were short a toggle but temporarily installed a Decora - promising to swing back by to replace.

AWESOME!!! The experience could not have been better. Anthony met me on a Wednesday to size up the job and provide an estimate. On Saturday morning, Josh and Manuel arrived at 7:30AM to do the job. These guys are masters of their craft - they knew exactly what they were doing. They identified a few challenges along the way and presented me with good options to solve them. They said the options were A, B or C and wanted to know my preference. They also help guide my decisions by saying "if it were me, I'd do it this way. Here's why..." Josh and Manuel worked hard. They were very detailed; their measurements and instillation were precise. They were all over the smallest details. Not only did they do a great job, the finished product looks great, works perfectly and they left the entire job site in better condition than they found it. Not only did they clean up the work area - they swept out the entire garage. The entire garage was spotless. Here's the best part of working with Rein Electrical. I now know exactly who to call every single time I have an electrical need or issue. No more doing a search, being a little skeptical and hoping for a good experience. These guys are professionals with a long track record of great results and very satisfied customers. I look forward to the next time I have an electrical need.

Rein Electric installed a chandelier in a spot where a recessed light had been in our kitchen. They also installed a timer for exterior lights. They were punctual, responsive and wonderful to work with. I highly recommend them. We will definitely call them again.

We almost had an electrical fire yesterday when an outlet shorted out. We caught it in time before it started a fire. Called around to multiple companies before Rein. Rein was able to come out the next morning. They said they would be here between 7-8 and the electrician was here at 7 ON THE DOT!!! He was very quick (one hour) and was very nice. If there was anything wrong I would be the first to say. For some their service price might be a little high but you get what you pay for.

I purchased this by accident but they were very fast to respond to me so we could get the project started.

The Rein folks came out and did a great job on the quote. Kevin - our installer did exactly what was requested and allowed for some small changes that did not affect his time quoted. My wife was very happy with how Kevin accommodated the ceiling fan install where we changed the down rod length. All in all did excellent good work.

Kevin installed the ceiling fan without incident. We needed a different brace/electrical box than the one I had purchased, but he had one in his truck that he was able to use and packaged ours back up so it could be returned. The "chandelier" was a different story. This is a handmade custom piece made by a guy out of vintage farm equipment. It didn't really come with much of a hanging solution, and was VERY heavy. Kevin made a trip to Home Depot to see what might work for this project. He sent text messages with pictures sharing some of his ideas and to get my opinion. He brought back what he ultimately thought could work and really pulled out the creativity. It was NOT an easy process, and he had to adjust his initial ideas and intentions several times, but he was patient and it all came together perfectly. I have no doubt that his solution will safely hold this heavy piece to my ceiling without fail, and it looks flawless (in a vintage farm equipment sort of way). I really appreciated the amount of effort that went into this job and was happy to pay a premium on a Saturday for a great attitude, a little innovation, and a lovely end-product.

All he needed to do was reset a GFCI switch in house. No actual repair needed. We did agree to the repair, but it was something we learned to check in the future.

Kelly did the work, and couldn't have been nicer. He was thorough and knowledgeable.

Kelly was sent out for the first visit and completed the security lights issue. He was very nice and professional and was on time. The work was completed in a timely manner. The second visit included Anthony Rein stopping out to give us an estimate on an outside generator and the replacement of the electric sub panel in the basement. The third visit included replacing the electric sub panel in the basement to include more breakers and the replacement of the outside light. Kelly was sent out again to complete the work. The panel must have taken longer than anticipated so Kelly asked if he could return to complete the outside light. Rochelle called the next day to reschedule Kelly for the following week. Even though the work wasn't completed on the same day, that was ok by me because there wasn't any urgency to the outside light, and I was contacted immediately by Rochelle to reschedule Kelly to come back out. I was not charged any additional service call money and Rein Electric honored the Angie's list discount. It is wonderful to find an electrical company that actually keeps in touch with you and calls you back. They are very professional and their prices are competitive. In the future we are looking to install outdoor landscape lighting and an outside generator and we will definitely call Rein Electric!

The replacements and new outlets went fine. The two mini cans in the soffit caused a little trouble for Paul, the installer. We originally wanted three min cans, and after putting in three holes in the drywall of the soffit, Paul found a stud that his tool had not detected. We moved to plan B, and Paul cut two more holes in the drywall. So I got my two lites with a lot of holes. The good news is that I had a contractor working on the basement who offered to fix the holes for me! We had also wanted a can lite at the top of the basement stairs. But after looking at the scenario and the electric needed, it would have been a major project, so we did not have that done. All in all, I love Anthony Rein and his company. I've used them many times in the past.

Scheduling was easy and they came within a few days. Kelly was very professional and helpful. It took about an hour and a half because we are in the process of remodeling and I had many questions. He worked promptly and efficiently. All of my questions were answered and the job they were hired to do was completed to my satisfaction.

Everything went well. Would use them again.

They did everything very well. It took a lot longer than everyone expected but that was a good thing. The initial estimate was done by someone that underestimated everything by quite a bit. Rein was awesome and did all the work and only raised the price a little bit because of all the errors from the initial estimate. I thought that was top notch customer service and they exceeded my expectations in making it right. I think they may have lost money due to all the extra work they did. Thanks you for the great work!

Have mixed feeling about this company and unsure if we would recommend them or not? Had a very rocky beginning with poor communication (no return calls or return emails.) After finally getting a "written" estimate (on the day of service) and the technician came out, things improved. We were happy with Paul and found him to be very pleasant to work with. He was very good at explaining things and took his time doing the work. Overall, we would give them an "average" rating.

Rein ElectricOur condo assn needed to hire an electrician to install a new electrical line from an interior utility closet to the exterior of our building. Anthony from Rein Electric came to our building to provide us an estimate. We were really impressed with his quick turn around to provide us an estimate. Additionally, the scope of his work was exactly what we needed. He is a very knowledgeable professional and was one of the only vendors who provided us a customized suggestion for a custom alarm if the outlet were to trip. Rein is a great business with competitive pricing. Thanks for your time and hard work!

We purchased a condo that was in need of many repairs and updates including wiring it for modern day uses of electricity. Rein Electric offered a unique solution from the other quotes we received so the decision was made to award them with the contract. We live in a co-op so board approval was needed before we proceed, Anthony Rein attended the meeting to explain the work that would be done and made a good case for the approach they were taking with the project. For the most part everything went smoothly and the work was completed on time. There was one issue that came up and Anthony promptly took care of the issue. We could not be more satisfied with the outcome and would recommend their services to anyone looking for an electrician.

Paul was very polite and punctual and I will hire Rein again.

It went perfectly fine. We had purchased an Angie's list coupon for the service. We expected to pay an extra fee to have a junction box installed, but when I pointed out a phantom light switch by the door, which not even the former owners knew why it was there, they investigated a bit and lo and behold found the junction box under the drywall ceiling. They cleaned up so well that I only realized after they were gone that they had even thrown away the information sheet showing the features and settings. That was my only unhappiness in the whole encounter. As an aside, we loved the design of the fan so well that we went out and purchased another one so all the fans upstairs would match. We waited for another "big deal" to come around and purchased another coupon from them. Alas, we let that one expire before we got around to calling them to schedule the work. Well, we just bought a handyman coupon, so maybe we'll have him install it :)
