It went as expected.

They did an excellent job on the roofing. It went very well and we were very pleased. They did the job in eight hours just as they said. They did everything that they said they were going to do. They came in at 7 in the morning. They cleaned up after themselves and they did the job very professionally. We would use them to replace our windows and siding in the next two years. They were recommended to me by my son who had his roof and gutters replaced by them. He was very pleased with them. They were very helpful and gave suggestions. They were here when they said they were going to be. I would certainly recommend them very highly.

We felt that he was extremely professional and was presenting very high quality products and high quality work. We got several estimates for the work we wanted performed and essentially we made our decision based on prices. We felt that we didn't want the extensive work that they were going to do. There were no concerns about quality or professionalism or anything we just decided to go with some other companies. If there was a factor, price would be it. They were a little higher than the other companies.

The installation of the windows occurred without any problems. The installation crew, Mark and John, were kind, courteous, and professional. They worked the schedule originally promised. They announced their arrival each morning and informed me when they wrapped up work for the day. A couple of days, they needed to work around thundershowers. They worked until the last minute and then made up time after the storm passed. They took extreme care when working inside the house. The job included the installation of new window sills and aprons. They moved any furniture required to access the window and then moved it back when completed. They vacuumed any area where they worked and it looked clean when finished.

They did great.

I was concerned that the installation crew might cut corners because the windows were installed on the coldest days of this winter. My concerns were unfounded. The crew was very professional and did excellent work despite the weather. My new windows are beautiful. This is the second time I have used Hacker Exteriors. My neighbors have also been very pleased with their work. I would recommend them to anyone looking for good value and excellent service.

So far, everything has been positive. The price of the bid, length of time they have been in business, the referrals, and the type of work I have seem them do stands out.

This company responded promptly and flexibly to our request for an estimate. They were willing to deal with me individually, rather than insisting that "the man must be present". The work was done professionally, quickly and cleanly. The owner stopped by to check the work after the job was completed, and had the crew come back to make meticulous corrections. The cost was a bit higher than our other estimates, but having the job done RIGHT was well worth the added expense. We look forward to working with Hacker on a siding job in the future.

I did not even have a chance for an estimate, as the woman who answers their phone was incredibly rude. We needed our fascia and soffit covered in siding, and when I explained this, the woman said, "Well, that's a small job". "We're booked through October." But she still called me back the next week to make an appointment for an estimate. When she called back, the time did not work for me. Referring to Dave Hacker, she said, "I'd have to ask him, and he's on the phone." She said she'd call back and never did. I would never use a company that makes it so difficult to speak with someone knowledgeable and friendly. I have already seen three other siding companies who dealt with me in a professional and helpful manner. I can not speak for Hacker's work, but they never gave me that opportunity.

They are exceedingly reliable. They are also incredibly nice to work with and very professional. My house looks wonderful! All their work came out beautifully. They did a great job of matching the siding and the roofing. They added nice architectural detailing to add interest. They also removed wood that he thought would cause problems in the future. Two of the architectural details and a storm door were done at no charge. Also the window they ordered for me came in wrong. It was actually a better model and they did not charge me for the upgrade. They stuck with the proposal from the beginning. It was a very special experience. You don't often get to say that about people who work for you. They go above and beyond.
