Mike K. was very prompt, professional, and did high quality work. On short notice, he came in to do our job when our other contractor stopped returning our phone calls. Mike had good ideas for improving the look of the porch and making the screens last a long time (the previous contractor was going to install the screens with staples and wood stops and Mike let us know that approach would not hold up over time). When Mike finished the job, he made sure we were 100% satisfied, including returning to make some modifications that we had requested. I would recommend Mike and use him again.

I had rain water coming into the house through a window and I couldn't figure out how it was getting in. I called Mike and he got back to me right away. He came and figured out the problem. He was responsive and fair. I will call him again.

Screens look great. George also fixed the screen door so it is back on track and slides properly. The also replaced clips in the window screens that had worn out at no additional charge.

Mike was very professional and thorough. He worked efficiently and we are very pleased with our new screens!

Excellent work. Mike did a great job. My old stair posts at the end of my front door steps needed to be replaced. Mike carefully removed the old posts without damaging the remainder of the rails. He then had to cut to size the posts I had ordered off the internet, prime the posts and install them. The work was absolutely flawless. The posts looked perfect. Mike gave me a very fair price for his great work.If you need any carpentry, I highly recommend this company.

- I spoke to Mike early this spring and discussed what I needed done. He gave me an estimate and we set up service for as soon as the weather allowed. Mike kept in touch with me as the season progressed. When the weather finally cooperated I received a call and service was arranged for the soonest possible date. He and his assistant arrived promptly and began work. My screens were particularly hard to remove (which was part of the reason I called in professionals). They took great care to remove them without damaging them which turned out to be a 2 man job. I am very happy with the result and would gladly use them again.

Mike did a wonderful job on our repairs! He was conscientious and courteous. He maintained a clean work site which was much appreciated.

After getting our interior of the house painted, we thought how nice it would be to get crown moldings installed. Our painter recommended Mike Krinninger of George Krinninger & Sons. Mike and his helper, Tim, showed up in a timely manner, worked efficiently, and with professionalism. Their work showcased very good craftsmanship and knowledge in what they do. We were very impressed with how the crown moldings turned out. We will definitely recommend George Krinninger & Sons and use them for other projects we may have in the future. I saw him doing some work next door in July 2012 and asked him to give me an estimate on fixing a gutter and the back side window sill that was rotting out. He asked for my email which I loved since it is so much easier to communicate. He emailed me an estimate and told me to contact him when I was ready to move forward. Well, a couple of months passed and I got a friendly no pressure email asking if I was still interested in proceeding. Of course I procrastinated and put off emailing him back. A month later I got another friendly email reminder of the work I still needed to get done. As soon as I told him to go forward he emailed me a date and time and I replied right away. The work was done 2 days later. He was very efficient and cleaned up everything. I am grateful that he persisted because I was looking at a potential mold problem soon with all of my procrastination. When I handed him the check, he said "oh" you already made it out. Well, here is $20 cash back, it didn't take me as long as I thought. He didn't like to overcharge for his work. Disbelief was on my face, this type of thing never happens. Thanks for an honest and thorough job. I can't wait for the estimates on all of my other odd jobs that he is writing up an estimate for.

Estimates was fine - have not gone forward on job

Wow! Awesome experience - 5 screens were replaced on my porch within 24 hours of talking to Mike. I was in a bit of a bind because a squirrel ate through a screen days before I was to entertain. While I was at it, there were smaller holes in other screens that I figured I'd replace. Mike was already busy but was still able to fit me in, which I appreciate as it probably wasn't easy. I'd recommend this company, and I'm going to keep their name handy if anyone else I know needs similar work done. I'm really happy!

I e-mailed Mike my screen sizes. He responded back within 2 days with a quote. He was able to make it to my house on a Saturday morning to start with the screens. When he arrived I told him that my screens and windows were unique in hoe they fit into the grooves. For lack of a better word they were cheap and it wasn't exactly an easy process. Mike set up a mobile workstation in my driveway. He repaired the screens that he could, and also custom made screens for windows that did not have any screen frames. He installed all of these screens, which was almost like putting together a complex puzzle. He finally found the process to install and showed me how. He was very very polite and extremely helpful. He definitely when above and beyond to give me a good experience, I would not think twice about using him again!!

Mike was actually better than the painting contracter that hired him. He advised us when he was coming to measure and estimate the job, and again when he came to install the trim. A couple of weeks after the entire paint job was complete we had a rain storm and discovered water coming into the window that had been trimmed. I called the painting contracter, who sent Mike back out. It turned out that the water was coming in through an area Mike had not worked on, but that the painters had not caulked. Mike did caulk that area for me even though it was an area he had not touched while doing his part of the job.

Mike showed up on time and had all the materials necessary to complete the job. The screens were held in place with 1/4 round and had been in place for over 20 years. Mike decided to not remove the 1/4 round and was able to replace the screen material while the frames were in place. I didn't think this could be done but it turned out to be a great job. The screens are tight and look great. Although it was not part of the original work plan, Mike was willing to hang two new wooden screen doors while he was there. All the old screening material was taken away and the porch was left in good shape. I would recommend George Krinninger & Sons.

Mike gave me a reasonable quote on the screened porch panels. The work was delayed one day due to weather. He arrived the next day as promised and worked without any long breaks or lunch for 6 1/2 hrs. Removing the old screens from the porch panels was more difficult than expected. Mike stuck with it and called a helper to assist him. All the new screens fit well and look great. He stuck around and did the window and door screens after I asked him to inspect them (we had not previously discussed this work). He also did some work on my front door that we had talked about. Even though the porch screens were more work than I thought they would be Mike stuck by his original quote on relacing them. He charged me the same price for the window & door screens that a chain hardware store charges. He and his helper (Tim) also volunteered to help me put the removable roof on the screen porch. I wasn't planning to put the roof on but with their help it went quickly and is now off my "to do list". Thanks Mike and Tim.

Mike called me back on time, showed up to do the work on time, and did a great job rescreening. Only 48 hours from the time I called to the time the screens were done. WAY faster than the three weeks Ace Hardware quoted, and the same price. Mike does quality work, if you need screens done, give him a ring.

It went very well. He was punctual. He was very professional, knowledgeable and cleaned up after himself. He showed me what was wrong with the screens and then replaced them.

THE JOB WENT WELL EVEN THOUGH OUR SCREENS WERE HARD TO WORK WITH. MIKE ARRIVED ON TIME AND REPLACED ALL FIVE SCREENS IN ABOUT 3.5 HOURS. THE SCREENS WERE VERY DIFFICULT TO EITHER GET OUT OR GET BACK IN, OR BOTH, WHICH TOOK EXTRA TIME AND EFFORT. MIKE WAS ABLE TO WORK WITH THESE DIFFICULT SCREENS WITHOUT DAMAGE. NOW THEY LOOK GREAT. THE PRICE MIKE QUOTED IS THE PRICE HE BILLED. HE IS VERY FAIR AND STICKS TO HIS ORIGINAL ESTIMATE, UNLESS UNFORESEEN ITEMS COME UP.

This job was beautifully done from start to finish. Mike and Tim worked so well together and it showed in their finished job. One would measure and the other would cut. It was amazing to see the finished sections each day. Some of the pieces they tried to put down would splt and they would start over again. The problem was with the laminate not their work. They went out of their way to make it perfect. We are so pleased with this installation and will be using this company again when needed.

I have never seen a group of people work so diligently and so quickly. They arrived early in the AM every day and worked until late afternoon, weather permitting. They worked so well together that the job was finished ahead of schedule and everything was done very much to our satisfaction. We were so satisfied that we gave them a bonus for a job well done. Because of their excellent work, later this year we will be hiring the same company to replace our screens as well as other work to be done on our house. We would not even consider anyone else because we find George Krinninger and Sons to be extremely honest and thorough.
