I had heard good reviews and name of this business came up in a few Facebook recommendations. I first contacted them about 10 months ago or so by leaving a message on their website. I heard no response back. I followed up by calling their phone number and Elliot himself talked me and agreed to a callback and visit to view the needed work. I never heard back from him. Late last year, I contacted again over Facebook, thinking this has more visibility so I may get a response back. I did and was asked to call Elliot. Which I did, although it seemed odd that me as a customer had to call him and not the other way around when he knew of my interest already. He promised to come over on coming Sunday to look at the needed work. He never called, texted, or visited. I followed up again and Elliot agreed to come over on Friday that week. He did come over, took a look at the work, took pictures and answered a few questions. He said he is definitely interested in getting my business. A quote estimate was promised the following week and I told him to take his time. After he left I texted him to ask for his preferred email for us to exchange information. He never replied. He never came back with an estimate or any other explanation. A business owner that lies to your face and so unprofessional that they do not even know the business communication 101 should earn zero trust and find something else to do. I routinely saw company trucks parked in Libertyville downtown, meaning they were doing just fine but decided to ghost their potential customers. If this is how they treat their customers, I doubt they are worthy of our business and not capable of doing good job.

Simply put, GRADE A+ service. Elliot and his team are knowledgable, trustworthy and professional. We were so impressed with the gamut of work they are capable and certified for, that my wife and I actually looking for more that can be done around our home. Will not hesitate to hire again, or recommend!

Elliot West Home Services did some amazing work on my house! I couldn't have asked for easier people to work with. They listened to my ideas, and found solutions that worked well with my taste and my budget! The work wasn't finished until I was 100% satisfied. They installed a new bathroom in what was once a make-shift closet in my family room. They came up with unique ideas to solve all the plumbing issues and made a beautiful new enclosure into my crawl space. While they were doing the bathroom, because it was connected, they revamped my laundry/furnace room! It no longer looks like a part of another house! It's more beautiful than the family room! I love it so much, I actually enjoy doing laundry now. I wanted to replace my brick patio with a large deck. Elliot West came up with the idea to use stamped concrete, and I'm so glad! I have a three level, huge patio with a built-in fire pit. It's my dream patio. Sadly, I have no more rooms to renovate, but I will keep hiring them to do handyman-type work around the house.

We were referred to Elliot West by a friend and were very pleased with the work. His response time was the same day we called him and he personable and professional. We were happy with the price as well. When we had an unrelated plumbing issue several weeks later, we also used Elliot West and he responded the same day, even though it was already 6:30 in the evening. We also obtained an estimate from him for a kitchen remodel and hanging a set of double doors in our entry way and plan on using him for the work.

Elliot was prompt in getting back to me. I had heard he is a licensed electrical as well as a contractor that does good work. As a police officer, trusting people in my home is very important. He came out to figure out why my garage outlets kept tripping. We scheduled a day that worked for me. He came out and did the repairs. Pricing was good and problem was solved. Good to find a company that I can trust.

We couldn't be happier with the work they completed. Elliot's team of guys are great. Being an at home mother it's important to me that I feel comfortable with the people coming into my home during the day. Elliot and his guys do great work and were great to work with. We were happy with the pricing and are happy to finally have found a company that can take care of just about anything on our home.

Elliot came out to look at our job and had terrific ideas. I was really excited to begin working with him. But despite my repeated inquiries, I never received an estimate. Very disappointing.

Discussions were promising, he inspected the work we were looking to have done and made good suggestions. Certainly acted like it was a project he could do and would be interested in. Promised a proposal/estimate the following week via email. Never heard from him again, despite my attempts to contact him several times via both his cell phone and email address. A couple of months have now passed and have received no responses to any of my follow-ups.

He and his group did the work over 2 weeks, while we were gone on vacation. He was very helpful in advising us in the planning for choosing new fixtures, vanities, and tile. He has a good sense of style and color. He met us at the showroom for the granite and the shower doors to help us make choices. He obtained the building permits and gave us a shopping list for the items that we needed to provide. The work was done in a professional timely manner, and he was responsive to my calls and emails. The tile work was exceptional in quality and detail. They removed all the old materials and left our home in clean condition. I trusted him implicitly to work in our house while we were away. We are very happy with our new bathroom, and we will be hiring Elliot for other remodeling projects in our home in the future.
