Description of Work: I called Dan the Key Man to repair the lock on my garage service door. He not only replaced the knob assembly (it was broken beyond repair) but tightened the top hinge by adding two screws (which had been missing since the house was built, over 20 years ago---there weren't even holes for them, so he drilled them). Now the door closes more easily than it ever did, as well as locking perfectly. I can't say enough about Ken (Dan was the uncle from whom he bought the business)---he was pleasant, professional and obviously an expert in his chosen field. His price was very reasonable for what he did, and I would not hesitate to call him again.

+ -1 moreWe live in an association community. Our mail is delivered to secured mailbox which belongs to each individual address. The lock on our mailbox became difficult to open, so we needed it replaced. I had used Dan the Key Man man years ago, and thought is was a good idea to use him again. We called Dan the Key Man 3 times over a 5 day period and left a message with the woman who answered the phone each time. No one EVER called us back. I consider this behavior very unprofessional and will never seek to do business with this company again.
Description of Work: The serviceman never returned my several phone calls. I felt very uneasy about pursuing him and his services.

+ -1 moreMy husband got with them mostly. He was honest, willing to search for the best price and to know our problem. But he was hard to get a hold of because he works out of the office. And we were very happy with him when we were done.
Description of Work: We used Dan The Key-Man Inc. We needed several locks with special key and he collided them.
