incredible service! Of course our furnace died with the temps below 0. Allied was the third company we had called and the only one to pick up with a real person. We called for service at 8 pm on a Saturday night. The tech, Rob, was there by 9 to pronounce our 16 yr old Lennox furnace DOA. We had another company come out on Sunday that specialized in Lennox who gave us the same diagnosis and estimate for replacement. (We have a 6 month old lennox AC and thought maybe it was best to get the same brand.) Allied called to check up on us Sunday morning before the Lennox guy came out . We had Allied come out on Monday to measure and give us an estimate for a Carrier . Lon listened to what features we wanted on the furnace and thermostat and matched it to a unit. We never felt like he was trying to sell us a furnace with more features than we needed. He also left us with 3 space heaters. Between that, our fireplace and the furnace magically kicking on overnight, we survived. The installers showed up on time Tuesday(Despite the snowstorm the night before) and took the exact amount of time they said they would-6 hours. They were neat and both were dog people-a plus! We were very impressed with the communication between the office and the installers. They knew that the air filter compartment needed adjusting and the 20 year old whole house humidifier needed to be removed.

Everything went very smoothly. The quote they gave was better than what others had quoted, sometimes by a lot. The guy who came out was prompt and professional and did a great job. I'll definitely use them in the future.

Great experience. Beat competitive quote for similar quality and capacity equipment from another manufacturer. Removed old equipment and installed new in one day between 8-5pm. Cleaned up and explained operation well. Excellent service.

They are really good about coming out and helping us. Just one guy came out. They had another guy deliver the part, and he installed it.

They have always been an "A", that's why I kept using them.

It failed, and they came out and replaced it for free in July. We keep using them instead of some other places that are local. I would definitely use them again. One guy came out and it took him less than an hour.

I have used Allied out of Libertyville for the last several years. This year I needed a new a/c and they did a great job. I like that they do not try to oversell you on anything. They do my maintenance 2x a year and are always professional, prompt and courteous. I would recommend them to anyone. With the electronic air cleaner, filters are expensive and they told me they can furnish, but I can get cheaper online. I like that they are looking out after my best interest!

We have used Allied for all our HVAC needs for over 20 years. They have always been excellent in all respects; responsiveness,price, quality, and professionalism. We recently purchased a home with 25 year old ventilation systems in the bathrooms. They were noisy and we had some concerns that they were actually drawing out any moisture. Allied did an inspection and provided a quote which included fans with up to date technology that were sized to the needs of each bath, new ductwork and connections to the outside. The technicians did an excellent job and were willing to work with us on the placement of the new fans. The definitely went above and beyond our expectations. The new fans were installed with no damage to existing drywall, which was a pleasant surprise based on the difficulty of the installations. The crew used tarps to protect our hardwood floors and did an excellent job with cleanup. We are extremely pleased with our new bath fans and Allied's flawless installation! We would not hesitate to recommend Allied for any HVAC needs!

This issue was especially stressful for me, as I was out of town (2 states away). My house is up for sale and the work had to be addressed quickly and Allied worked and coordinated with my real estate agent to get the problem properly diagnosed and repaired (to the extent that Allied could complete the repairs). From the first call early in the am (thank you Judy for your help!!), to the actual work, I understand from my real estate agent that all went well. It was also my understanding that the technician from Allied was able to stay while the gas company checked things out and was confident that all items were properly repaired and/or secured.

I was able to get an appointment within a day or two of calling the office, and I believe I got a bit of a discount for being a loyal customer. The technician (Bill S.) arrived EXACTLY on time, was very personable, professional and respectful. I had recently had my carpets professionally cleaned and he was meticulous about wearing foot covers whenever he had to walk through a carpeted area. He completed the work efficiently and reported that all was fine with the furnace. No issues. Update 11/3/15: See review of 11/3/15. There was a small leak in the furnace at the adjustment plug. I'm not sure if this was a result of this technician (Bill S.) not snugging it down enough when the service was done on 9/29/15, or if something happened between end of Sept. and early Nov. (Not sure what that could have been, I didn't touch it). In future, please have technicians make sure all is secure before leaving. There were other leaks in the system (not directly related to the furnace) that were addressed on 11/2/15, but if there were not other issues early Nov., I'm not sure when this little one would have been detected or if it would have been dangerous. Changed quality score from A to B. Overall over the years I've worked with this company, they have been great.

The entire process went extremely well. The salesman took the time to find the applicable energy rebates and came over on the first day of installation to see if things were going well. The installers were efficient and polite explaining how the new thermostats worked. Lastly, the office staff always followed up with whatever they needed to do--very professional. We would recommend them highly.

this is the second time I have called them... the first time was in the dead of winter and my heater/furnace went out in the night... Bob, the guy oncall called me right back and came over... he was very professional and knew exactly what he was doing... by what I told him happened and noises, etc... he knew what to look for right away... he had the part to fix it, and then he checked out everything else in the furnace and cleaned it as well.... the paperwork told the exact part he replaced and what he did, and I did look up the part afterwards, and their price was definitely right on par so they are not trying to take your money.... the emergency service call was $100... but that's pretty standard for something like this... he told me all that upfront beforehand to ensure there were no surprises.... then just a week ago, my AC went out... I didn't even hesitate, and I looked them up again and called... unfortunately it was afterhours and a weekend, so I had to pay the emergency visit cost... but that's how it always go huh.... so it was the same guy again that called me right back and came out... same thing... I told him the noise the AC unit made and what it did leading up to not working, and he knew exactly what to check first... then he did a check of everything else in it as well.... I have an older unit, and he told me that it would likely need to be replaced soon, and told me some options and asked if I'd rather wait before he did the work because the cost was going to be $407 that day.... he didn't pressure me at all, but gave me very good advice/recommendations and let me make my decision... he is very knowledgeable and professional... I will call them for sure if ever needed, and I highly recommend them!
