One day after the landscapers from this company worked on our backyard, the glass of the patio door of my home was found to be split in a star-like form, starting from one spot near the ground. I am sure that the glass was hit by some object lifted by a mower or trimmer. However, they refused to compensate for the damage because, they said, it couldn't be proved that they did it. Most of the time, their people do the landscaping around when the inhabitants are not at home. How likely can the damage be found when or immediately after it is being caused? Serrano Landscaping is anything but honest.

They do general landscaping services on my yard. They come out on a weekly basis.

I have used Serrano landscaping for Spring and Fall clean ups and for planting large trees and bushes, and for pruning and trimming. The owner is very knowledgeable about which plants will thrive in each situation, and the plants he brings are always beautiful and healthy. He guarantees his planting for a year and has honored that pledge to me several times for plants that didn't make it due to deer or poor drainage. He and his workers are hard working, quiet and pleasant to have working in your yard. I am an avid gardener and find it a treat to have them working in my yard. They will do anything. 3 of my neighbors and my sister and daughter have them do weekly maintenance and they leave the yard looking wonderful. They go above and beyond what you might hope for.

1. YARD AND LANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE:We have an acre lot. I used another company for a couple of years simply because they provided lawn maintenance for the folks I bought the house from. I was very dissatisfied with that other company but at least they were cheap. I noticed someone on the block used Serrano and they have great landscaping. I finally switched to Serrano for landscape maintenance and I am extremely satisfied. Simply put, instead of having landscaping I'm embarrassed about, I have a large yard I am quite proud of. And I also do a lot less work on it. However, they are about 60 percent more expensive than the other company was. I guess you get what you pay for. I wish I had time to write about all the little things they do right but it is quite a long list. 2. LANDSCAPE SERVICES: Additionally, they also plant shrubs, trees and flowers. I used them for three different projects. 1. replace dead shrubs and re-mulch beds. 2. Plant new trees and shrubs and replace turf. 3. Additional planting of evergreens, removing a planting bed, install several trees. Each project was from $2,500 to $5,500 depending on the trees used. Serrano replaced some dead shrubs and trees that were improperly planted by another landscaper. Since he is an arborist and nurseryman, he knows how to select, plant and care for expensive shrubs and trees. If he can't find nice trees to plant, he will let you know. He planted some very nice evergreen trees for me that were about half the price I was expecting for the size. He is also glad to move and replant flowers and shrubs. His landscaping prices are reasonable. During a landscaping project, I find that they do more than expected instead of less. One of my neighbors had a large landscaping revamp project in his front yard. He told me he simply told Mr. Serrano to do whatever he thought would look nice and send him the bill! it looks incredible of course. In summary, I have the feeling that Mr. Serrano takes as much pride in my property as I do. I plan to do a larger project this spring and also have them take care of the large flower pots at our property. I have been admiring my neighbors flower pots that they planted!
