Budget Cement

Description of Work: We added a small concrete pad in the backyard where my sons can play basketball.

Description of Work: Budget Cement constructed a patio. It has a base color and release color. The release color was sloppily placed onto the base color. The patio is very light and looks like there was hardly any release color put on in a couple of areas. Release color was spilled onto the patio in several spots and the owner of Budget Cement initially said that it was natural, but I was very firm that it was a spill, and eventually he said he didn’t work it in sufficiently. My husband saw it and agreed with me that there are spills of release color, and that there was insufficient release color in those couple of areas. My husband said he wanted to take $100 off the price for not putting sufficient release color in a couple areas as well as the spills. This company would not accept $100 off for our dissatisfaction with the release color and the spills. This company does not seem to care whether you are satisfied or not. We never so much as received an apology for anything. The patio also has footprints in it , little puddles of sealer, and trowel marks. The patio is uneven and slopes. A couple of people, who are professionals, have viewed the patio and mentioned the aforementioned issues with it. The patio is lackluster and looks like oil has spilled on it from one or more vehicles. It is supposed to look like a shiny, ceramic floor.
