Waits Restoration

Please do not ever use this company. I've been back and forth with this company for a year now. They are con men who take peoples money without ever planning on finishing the job. If you need more proof, go to yelp.com and see all the "non recommended" reviews. These people are barely a company. Currently in the process of taking them to court.

Do not waste your time and money, basically they are conmen, going after your deposit. In July 2016, I have paid them $2,852.01 to get exterior of my house painted, after one year, so many false promises, all missed schedules, all they did is pressure wash my house and did fake sanding... left house in worst condition than before. Now they are saying me to not return the deposit or paint the house and basically telling me to screw myself. No email replies or no phone call returns, I guess I don't have choice but to get law involved.

For the interior- job was completed- but I later found many items that were done poorly and they actually damaged my home in several areas. Examples of damage: they painted behind the dryer, but when they put it back they kinked the gas line causing risky situation for my family. They stood on and dented my new washing machine. They dripped stain down my ceiling rafters and onto the brick fireplace. For the exterior, they took my deposit for 1/2 labor and materials, but did not complete the job and did not refund my deposit. Here is the summary. Contract signed Aug 1 (even though we began discussing the work in May-it took that long to get their contract) 1. The week of Aug 10 –No Work 2. The week of Aug 24 – Deck stripped 3. They told me they would try to get done prior to Labor Day for a party I was hosting- No call, no work 4. Oct 5, 6 7 – Deck prepped, garage cleaned (power washing) 5. Oct 9- No show, no call 6. Oct 22 or 23- No call, no show 7. I was told Definitely by the end of Oct- no call, no show 8. I was told Definitely first week of Nov- no call, no show 9. I was told they would come Nov 11- or Nov 12- would try before- No show, no call, will not return my call I requested a refund of my deposit since the work was not completed and no materials were ever used. They told me to take them to court- no refund was ever given.

Quoted a very fair package price for this work in 2016 and I bit. Aaron demonstrated his concern and reliability...at first. Emphasized their warranty/experience. Then the delays kicked in, followed by excuses, delays, and excuses. It was very very rare for them to answer phone calls and never emails. After several fits and starts and my persistent hounding, they finally completed the work late in the season. Fortunately, the paint trim work has lasted and I feel we got a fair shake on that end. The deck was a disaster. Soon after they finished, the stain broke down at an alarming rate. I called them several times late last year to have them come back out to touch up, but they ignored. By this Spring, I recognized fully that we'd been had and that they had no intention of fulfilling their promise to come back with annual touch-ups. By mid-Winter the deck looked worse than the year before and I called what turned out to be a very reliable and reasonable contractor to re-do the mess that Waits Restoration wrought.
