Chris Swisher was very responsive prior to us giving him the contract for the roofing, siding, gutters, and windows. He had good ideas to offer on the materials and color choices. I am very particular and he was willing to spend the time answering my numerous questions. His team of craftsmen were on time each day and cleaned up after themselves. I say craftsmen because I watched them as they worked and was impressed by their skills. There were a few items that required adjustment after the job was done (some window issues related to the manufacturer, not Chris and his team) and Chris responded quickly. I would not hesitate to use Swisher Exteriors again for future work.

Chris - this was never about money and opting to go with the cheaper contractor, Gail and I had two projects going on at the time you are referring to. My Elderly In-laws and our own personal home, we had you do the roof and Apex do our siding, and I will go over with the owner Brian about what you are stating he does not know how to install James Hardie Siding, When the time came to replace our own roof Gail wanted you to do it, we only got your quote and did not question your price. In your contract to us , it states to remove the ice and water shied and install new, The day of the installation , on the west side of the house , your 4 professionals did not remove it, I asked you about it and you said in an e mail that I still have that it was difficult to remove and if you did , the plywood would be damaged. I was ok with that explanation, but I asked for a credit of the material and the labor to install , thinking you charge me for it in the contract . I received your invoice and was extremely surprised the credit was not there. However I paid you in full , not willing to go down that road, Again as you can see its not about as you say money. I find it extremely difficult to believe that your workers could not see the areas that needed to be addressed around the chimney, standing on the roof its eye level, Again if they mentioned it I would have said go ahead and do the repairs. You came by today and at no time did you say , let me get you a quote . Your only comment was to say “ keep an eye on it “ . It’s October Chris, it needs too be repaired, I have ceiling damaged in my family room and bedrooms, and water in the light fixtures. From my perspective , I did not have water coming into my house before your installation and now I do , put yourself in my shoes, you offered no help today, I would have paid you to complete the project, Its not about money, its about your lack of understanding and empathy of customers that put their trust in you . and then you replay with the e mail below. Great; they called me to tell me what was needed and the person spent 4-6 hours doing the install, which was pretty clean from the inside. I’ve had several heavy rains since and no leaks.

I have never spent the time to provide a review to date. I have never felt the need because all contractors simply meet my expectations - I got what I paid for. Swisher exteriors surpassed my expectations in every way. Chris consulted me with options and he was a pleasure to work with. I had high expectations and the finished product was far beyond what I wanted. We were quite satisfied and will recommend Chris to everyone we know.

Chris Swisher, the owner, is professional and gives great customer service. All of the work that was done was top notch. While replacing the windows, they also hung doors that we had purchased. Plus, we were missing molding around one of the windows and they cut and put up molding. I would definitely would hire them again. I recommend them to my friends and neighbors. They do quality work.

I would not use anyone else for my siding. He answers all of my questions and anytime I need something the owner shows up and his workers are polite and fun. They do not take breaks! They work 100% of the time.

We are thrilled with our new Marvin windows, Thermatru front door, and Andersen storm door. From quoting thru installation, we couldn't be more pleased with the process. Chris came out right away, provided options for us from the start, and answered all ( and I mean ALL... I had a lot!) of questions. He even brought over a full size window sample so that we could see the actual color we had chosen and the construction. His carpenters showed up exactly when they said they would and were not only fast and efficient... but meticulous. The fit and finish on everything they installed is excellent. We replaced all the windows and the front door in our 3BR ranch and they completed it all --including covering some trim work to make sure all matched and looked its best --in about 1-1/2 to 2 days. I enthusiastically recommend Swisher Exterior. Chris and his team did our new roof a couple years ago and did a wonderful job. They've done work for some of our neighbors and they've also had great experiences. We were so happy to have them back to do our new windows and door. They've made our house look fantastic!!

When Chris came to quote the job, I told him I wanted to do the siding this year and then the roof the following year unless he found that the roof needed to be replaced. I had two other contractors bidding on this job and Chris was the only one who told me my roof was sagging. Replacing a roof is a lot cheaper than siding a house, and I appreciated his honesty. His quote was in the middle but very close to the lowest bidder. He received the job because of his honesty and quote. When it came time to decide on color, Chris provided a list of houses I could drive by to see the different colors. When I had narrowed it down, he came to my house and put 2-3 rows of each color roofing on my garage roof so I could see how they looked. It helped so much and I could make my decision quickly after that. Chris does not require a downpayment, which was also a plus. The materials arrived on time as well as his roofers. They finished the job on time and cleaned up every night before they left. As they ripped off the old roof, if the wood was rotted, they replaced it. Chris had quoted what each piece of plywood would cost and since we knew my roof was sagging, I was prepared for this extra cost. (Once Chris had pointed out where it was sagging, we could visibly see if from the sidewalk!) We are very pleased with their work and our new roof. We will be hiring them to replace our siding and gutters.

Chris and his 'crews' were terrific. At the start of the job Chris was in contact often, bringing and hanging shingle samples on our roof so we could make a choice, bringing samples of the venting system and custom coil colors. He was very responsive and patient while we tried to decide. They worked most days, from early morning to early evening, and I mean worked. They replaced rotted fascia boards and all of the wood dormer trim which were in very bad shape. We had one minor issue with a window trim after the job had been completed and it was quickly taken care of. That's Chris, he does what he says and he will readily answer any questions you may have. Nice job keeping the job site clear of debris too. We have worked with Chris some 20 years ago and didn't hesitate to contact him for this new job. We were very pleased back then and were equally pleased now. They do quality work at a very competitive price. In this case it was the best price for the amount of work done. We were and are very satisfied. We also know that we can depend on Chris to take care of any issues that might arise. Job well done!

They did an excellent job, worked quickly, and were friendly. I would say A's across the board! Even the insurance adjuster made a comment that their price's were outstanding.

They were great. He is really a nice guy. He came out last fall to check as we were having some leak but it was not from the roof. He did some cocking around the window and just general things for me and he just did it all free of charge. It was wonderful and he did a great job. He is certainly did his job really well. He did everything what we expected and more. He put in more vents for us so he made appropriate recommendations. He was cost competitive because we did a lot of quotes.

Very professional. Great quality Marvin brand name windows. Came out right away, price was great and did a great job.

It was all he said it would be! His solution to fix our 20 year old siding (that could no longer be matched) was to take the old siding from behind the bushes and put it around the new window and put the new siding behind the bushes. Truly great idea!

Got estimates from 4 providers, and Swisher was well below the highest bidder. I had worked with Swisher before, having had windows installed 7 years ago. They were awarded the work, and Chris was very prompt is scheduling the work, and started shortly after we signed. He was very accommodating in coordinating his work with an insulation contractor who was doing blown-in insulation after Swisher removed the old siding. Work was done in the time quoted, his crew was very professional and accommodating, and cleaned up the site nicely upon completion. I would definitely use Swisher again, and would recommend to friends.

Other than then normal wear and tear over the past 21 years, we have had no issues. The aluminum clad trim was nicely done and custom formed.

I had them come out as one of 4 to bid for a siding job on my home. They were double the amount of the other three for the same material and labor.

Chris was very responsive and gave us a quick and thorough quote. He wasn't the cheapest quote we got (in the middle) but he was the most professional and had the most experience. The team did a beautiful job! There was no mess or evidence they did any work. Not only did they pin the gutters, but cleaned them all as well. Would highly recommend this company.

I have been working with Swisher Exteriors on replacing the windows in our house. We can't do them all at once so they have been out on multiple occasions and we still have some left to do and we'll be working with them again. They have also been out to do some siding work and also install a beautiful bay window in our family room. They have always been very good to work with and their prices & products are great. We love the new Marvin windows they installed.

We have worked with Swisher before and love working with this company. Chris Swisher is prompt, professional and experienced. The quotes are done quickly and are detailed. The work done this time was to reattach 2 pieces of siding that had bent up and exposed the framework to the attic of our 2 story house. There were also 3 square vent covers that had broken exposing the vents that we asked to be recovered. When the estimate was done Chris noted a few other siding issues which he discussed with me and we decided to have that work done as well. I also asked some general siding questions which he was more than happy to address and educate me. I asked that Swisher also cap an existing door frame that had never been painted and covered and thus succumbed to wood rot around a garage side entrance. I felt the fee charged for this job was competitive and well worth the money paid for it. After signing the work agreement Chris told me the time frame for the work to be completed and indeed 3 days later the work was done. I arrived home from work and the job was just being completed. The worker walked the property with me and was interested in my assessment of his job. Everything was done really well- with obvious pride in workmanship. My husband and I are now certain we will be requesting bids for a full siding job from Swisher when the time comes to reside the house. Great company- excellent work!

They did an excellent job each time. Chris, the owner came out, measured everything and gave a written detailed estimate which not all contractors do. In fact, he gave me two different estimates. One estimate for tearing off the old shingles and replacing them and one for leaving the old shingles on and going over them with new shingles. Chris is actually beyond excellent. He has replaced our old windows, the roof, sliding glass door, installed two exterior doors, removed one sliding glass door and replaced it with two windows and new dry wall. When it is time to re-side our house we will be calling Swisher Exteriors. I presently need a new exterior front door and sidelights. Chris is willing to check out doors and sidelights for us. If we find a door and sidelights on our own, he will install them. There is no pressure. Chris is professional, explains things and knows exactly what you want. He doesn't employ sub-contractors and the people that he does employ are very good. When they replaced my windows, they went the extra mile. Also, when my roof was replaced. If I have any questions after a job is completed, Chris will come out and answer any questions I do have. He gives very good customer service. He has replaced two of my neighbor's siding and roofs. They both gave him a high recommendation.

- 20+ year old home suffered from leaky windows and rotted wood exterior molding and sills - We did not want to engage in high cost window replacement at this time - After talking with many potential providers of wood repair, window replacement, we were pleased to meet Chris and to hear of his solution to our problem - We hope the window capping allows us to kick the can of window replacement down the road many years!

We called several good companies for estimates about some loose shingles and to find out if we needed a new roof. We had used Swisher before, to replace gutters, add larger downspouts, and replace shutters, so we already valued the work the company did. When Mr. Swisher came to check the roof, he repaired the shingles quickly, without being asked to do it (no charge), and said that the roof was in good condition and did not need to be replaced in the near future. He told us that the number of vents was no longer in compliance with current codes, and would need to be added when the roof was replaced. We asked for an estimate , checked with the village to be sure that we would need the additional vents (we would), and decided to do the vents now, to improve air circulation and prevent birds (or worse) form entering the existing vents. The work was scheduled in a timely manner, clean-up was excellent, and we are very pleased with the work. Swisher Exteriors has done work for many of our friends, which is how we first learned of the company, and we now recommend it to friends and family.
