Description of Work: Fixed and painted cracked ceilings in our house along with master bedroom and bath walls

Description of Work: I had water damage from an ice dam during the winter. The damage included the family room ceiling and walls, and the adjacent kitchen and walls. The drywall needed repair in addition to repainting both rooms. Included in the price was repair of drywall "nail-pops" at the peak of the vaulted ceiling (which included scaffolding). The painter (John Madden) was always professional and very mindful of our house and furniture. During the sanding process, he installed a plastic barrier between the family room and the kitchen to prevent dust from filtering into the adjacent rooms. He was able to exactly match the existing paint color, which permitted a cost savings since only one coat was required. His clean-up after completion was exceptional; there was no adverse trace that the project had been completed. I tend to get about three estimates when a project like this is beyond my expertise and skills. John's estimate was competitive. I choose him because he has performed work for us in the past and I knew the quality of his work. We felt comfortable leaving him alone in the house while we were away. Although John does both interior and exterior painting, I have only used him for interior work. I highly recommend you give him an opportunity to work for you.

Description of Work: They painted the inside of the house. They were always on time and did an excellent job. They never cut corners and explained exactly what they were doing.

Description of Work: John has painted both the interior and exterior of our home, as well as performed beautiful wall patching where necessary. Fair and flexible on price, helpful and flexible with paint choices, and meticulous during the job. A pleasure to deal with, and has been recommended to (and subsequently hired by) friends.
