Very well....Rain on several days posed delays with pouring but John was here anyway doing other work that could be done. If you are looking for concrete work in the northwest suburbs and particularly the Lake Zurich area give his business a call. You will not be disappointed. His work & attention to detail is absolutely first rate. John Bush Concrete removed my asphalt driveway and concrete front stoop & walkway and replaced with concrete aggregate. John and his son were here every day sometimes working in the rain doing prep work when rain prohibited pouring concrete. I priced another company whose work I had seen while working. John's price was almost $1000.00 under the estimate I received from that company. We are extremely please with the job and price from John Bush Concrete. I am sure I couldn't have pick a better concrete contractor

He did a great job. The quality was unbelievable. All of my neighbors are even really impressed. I found him when I was walking past a house in my neighborhood for sale and the driveway had been redone 10 years ago and was still perfect. He's very thorough and detailed from the time of the estimate until the job is finished.

excellent! We're excited to start using our new patio. John was very informative and made sure we understood what was going to happen. He got the permit for us and followed the city's requirements and then some. Everything was done in the timeframe he shared with us. Thankfully, we had good weather, so it worked out very well. John's attention to detail and pride in his work was demonstrated with the finished product. We will definitely use him for our front patio next year, and I'll refer him to anyone I know who needs any concrete work done.

I can't say enough about theses people. Their price was right, and they came when they said they would. They are very hard workers, and very precise. The old cement driveway was tore up, and they hauled it away in large trucks. The new driveway looks most excellent. It was sealed also with a sealing material. It has been over four years, and it looks as new as day one. I would recommend these people to anyone who wished to have professionals do their cement and concrete work.

The work was fine. It took little longer than usual. If I have to grade him for pricing from 1 to 5, it will be a 3 only because he quoted me for one thing and billed me for another.

My experience was good with John Bush Concrete and Construction. He was pretty helpful. I think that he gave anything overwhelming but I had an idea of what was going to be done and he had a lot of insight. The job went well and he has a lot of experience. Note that the job was done 10 years ago and the job still looks good, no cracks or anything!

Job went very well. Only comment was we had to pay for the bond, as he wasn't registered and bonded in Winnetka, and the job was too small for him to absorb the bond.

EXCELLENT! John was a true professional. We had a new septic system installed which involved ripping up our concrete patio to remove the old system. We interviewed 3-4 other concrete companies -- besides being more expensive-- John was the only one who told us to wait a year because the concrete would crack if we replaced the slab immediately. So, he charged us a modest amount - about $450 - to remove the old concrete and prep the area for the pouring next year. He also was terrific at follow-up and called me promptly to inform me about their next steps. We are also planning to use him to replace our garage floor. He was the most reasonably priced and the most reasonable! Thanks! We HIGHLY recommend John Bush Concrete and are definitely going to use him for other projects!

OVER THE PAST FEW YEARS I HAD ADMIRED A DRIVEWAY A FEW BLOCKS FROM HERE, AND ACTUALLY CONTACTED THE HOMEOWNER TO GET THE NAME OF THE CO. WHO DID THE DRIVEWAY. ALAN BUSH WAS DELIGHTFUL TO DEAL WITH. HE CAME OUT TO GIVE US A PRICE, AND HE CAME WHEN HE SAID HE WOULD. ALAN WAS ON-SITE THE ENTIRE TIME HIS CREW WAS DOING THE LABOR, REMOVING THE OLD CEMENT AND REPLACING IT WITH THE NEW. THE AGGREGATE LOOKS LIKE AN EXPOSED STONE/PEBBLE EFFECT, BUT ADDS A VERY ATTRACTIVE DIMENSION TO THE FINISHED PRODUCT. AFTER THEY APPLIED A SEALER, IT TOOK ON A SHINY GLOSS UNLIKE A PLAIN POURED CEMENT.

They did a lot of filler work and had to charge more than was estimated. Despite this they did a good job and were very thorough. It was not their fault and I was very happy with the finished product. They are great and I would recommend them.
