The larger of the two rugs was, in my estimation, in very sad condition after being exposed to heavy use and abuse in our sons' apartment. Jim was able to clean and restore both of them to their original colors! They look brand new! Couldn't be happier with the results and the great service. The price was exceptional compared to other providers we have used in the past. The total included pickup, cleaning and delivery. We will DEFINITELY use his services again.

Jim called me promptly to schedule the service. He gave me a firm estimate and showed up on time today. The garage floor was gritty and dirty, not greasy, but really needing a deep clean. We moved what we could, he moved the rest and got right to work. The concrete looks smooth and clean. My dad is thrilled. We will definitely call JEJ again for this or any other service that they provide.

Jim is prompt, clean and highly professional. I've given his contact info. to multiple friends and neighbors. Everybody who uses his services is VERY satisfied with how clean and "like new" their carpets/rugs look after he completes the job!

We had the carpet cleaned throughout the house, including the stairs to the basement. The entire process from requesting a quote to having the carpets cleaned was excellent. Jim is the most responsive and customer focused service provider I have ever worked with. I would not hesitate to use his services again - we have just hired him to power wash our garage.

I have had Jim several times before and as always he did an excellent job. He arrived 5 minutes early and after inquiring how my husband and I were doing got right to work. He tackled the chairs first. I had tried to get the dog hair out of the chair (it was actually stuck into the weave of the fabric) using my Dyson and several products advertised to remove pet hair. He was successful! They look like new! He picked some of the hairs out by hand! The area rugs look like new also. Didn't realize they were that bad. While he was still working down stairs he went upstairs and prespotted the stains. He was able to get out all of them except one. I didn't think he could do it. I had already attacked them with everything I knew of and didn't really make a dent. The one that you can still see is very, very faint. He sanitized the rugs and I am very happy, as usual. The price was as quoted.

Jim was very professional and did a very thorough job. Obtaining an estimate and scheduling was easy. He spent extra time taking care of trouble spots. We would definitely use him again.

I called Jim while we were doing a lot of painting, thinking perhaps it might take a while to get on his schedule. He called back within a short amount of time, and he gave me an approximate quote and date that was within a few days. I took that option but then had to call him to reschedule when our painters said they could come sooner than they were scheduled. Jim was really flexible about rescheduling, which was a relief. I was determined to get done with all the painting and cleaning of our new home ASAP, which had been owned by heavy smokers. Jim came exactly on time, and finished all three carpets in less than 3 hours, including moving furniture. He worked really h****** a bad spot, and was apologetic that he couldn't get every mark out of that area. But we don't know what was spilled there, and the carpet in that particular room isn't great, so we were very pleased with the result in all three rooms. Jim is a consummate professional, and I believe that he will do everything thing in his power to please his customers. He calls to confirm his appointments, he shows up on time, and he follows up to be sure his customers are happy. We will absolutely use him again!

Jim was awesome! The service was outstanding, and every aspect of my interaction was A+. My carpets were badly worn and i had been procrastinating having them cleaned. Jim made the entire transaction super easy, and the results are outstanding. I'll have him back to do more work for sure. Jim was easy to get ahold of, easy to schedule with, and he arrived right on time. The entire job for the first floor of my 2400 square foot house took only 2.5 hours. The carpets look great. I'll have him take another shot at one my bad stains, but almost all of the high traffice areas and stains are looking really well. The stairs came out especially well, given the age of the carpet. Jim was very professional and personable, and he did all of the necessary rearranging of things to get the job done. All i had to do was get the floor as free as possible before he came. If you want clean carpets and you live in the northern suburbs, give this company a shot.

We have had Jim for several years. He does a fantastic job on carpeting and furniture. He comes early, starts right to work and is done within a few hours depending on the job. He first spots any stains he sees. He is very friendly and we would never get anyone else because he does a wonderful job. We recommend him highly.

Jim came back to clean our sofas once again (he did it two years ago) but we also added carpet downstairs and grout on our kitchen and hallway tiles. Once again, he showed outstanding customer service, was punctual and delivered high quality work. The grout work was awesome...looked like brand new again.

Jim is extremely easy to work with. He was very responsive to all my questions (usually within 30 minutes of my contacting him!). He was prompt and very courteous. Jim's estimated based on my measurements (which were high) were refigured once he came in and remeasured the rooms. He made the adjustment as needed. Carpets are spotless! And, they have never been professionally cleaned. I would DEFINITELY us Jim again and highly recommend him to everyone.

Jim quickly returned my call and arrived to do the job on time and got right to work using an enzyme soil pretreat on the problem areas The results are amazing! Pet stains disappeared and the traffic areas are clean Jim is proud of his truck mounted super steamer, "The Butler" and rightly so Not only does the carpet look great, it's also sanitized I will definitely be calling JEJ for my future cleaning Thank you again, Jim!

We needed our carpets cleaned after living in our home for a year. We used Angie's list to choose a vendor and we could not have been more pleased. He was on time, hard working, pleasant to deal with and extremely honest. Carpets look fantastic and he didn't charge an arm and a leg. In our old home we used a company that was twice as expensive and they didn't do as nice of a job..

Needed a house cleaning service for my client's property in Evanston. This company's profile on AngiesList says they service the North Shore. I left a voice message, the owner returned my call promptly to tell me that his company does NOT service Evanston. I suggest the profile be modified in some way to more carefully describe the service area, because Evanston is certainly party of the North Shore.

This is the second time we've had JEJ out to clean our carpets and furniture. Absolutely fantastic. Very honest about furniture cleaning and told me it wouldn't be worth it to clean, even if it took money out of his pocket. JEJ explains all the work he's done and points out trouble spots. JEJ is part of our annual cleaning list and we look forward to having him back next year.

We have used JEJ in the past and Jim has always done a great job. He is very professional and his service is outstanding. Jim took care of everything and removed some tough stains that I thought would never come out. It is such a pleasure to know and do business with this quality company. There are not enough good things to say about Jim. He is 'old school' in that his pride and integrity are seen in his work. The quality of his work is amazing and he get stains out (with no promises up front) that I would not have thought possible. Somehow our grandchildren find just the right spot to leave an unidentifiable stain which I can never figure out how to extract, but Jim creates magic and they are gone. Most recently one of my very housebroken pups had surgery and had a few little accidents-Again Jim was able to turn my carpet white again. I have never seen Jim without a smile. He schedules according to your wishes and delivers as promised. When Jim says he will be at your home at 7:30AM, he arrives on the dot! He is honest, his pricing is amazing and we are always thrilled with the results as I am this time. He works efficiently and thoroughly and the results are great. Jim helped me understand that to maintain the carpets, a cleaning every 6 months is a good idea. NO high pressure, merely a suggestion and he is right. We have been very happy with that type of schedule. Jim is an unusually special person and a recommendation is a pleasure. We will continue to use him every six months or so and if you have need for carpet cleaning, there is no better choice.

Excellent. Jim provided an estimate ahead of time, arrived on time, and made the entire process easy. He handled the furniture moving, too, so there wasn't much that we needed to do. We have a large dog, but Jim restored our carpet to like-new condition.The final cost even ended up being less than the estimate. We are repeat customers and would not hesitate to recommend him.

Called Jack to clean rugs and chairs that had been soiled by a pet we took care of for a neighbor. He advised us concerning the cleaning needed, was right on time and the price was as quoted. Service was excellent. We have used this company before and will absolutely will again. Great service and we highly recommend them.

I contacted Jim after failing to receive a call back or email response from a north shore company we had been using for 8 years. Sent a detailed email to him and got a response and estimate for the work the next day even though he was on vacation.. I then sent another email with several more questions and Jim got back to me the same day. I reviewed all the customer comments and decided that I would try this new company. As a result we have scheduled the carpet and sofa cleaning for Oct 15th. Jim arrived right on time and I showed him the areas to be cleaned. He got to work right away and brought my attention to a few things as he did the work. He spent about 3 1/2 hours and did a walk-through inspection with me after the work was done. If I had used the other carpet cleaning company, this work would have cost me at least $200 more. Jim is a really personable and nice guy with lots of years of experience. I will be using him from now on and already have a reminder for him to contact me around April 1st.
