The house inspection found that and we had to get it fixed so I called a couple of guys and they responded and he fixed it. He had given me a price range and they came up and just jumped on the roof. He fixed it and gave me the highest price. They did good work, but I just did not appreciate that. But I needed to get it fixed so I didn't care at that point. (Regarding the price) he had me. I mean, they did show up right away -- I'll give them that, but he should have told me it was going to cost this much. But instead they just jumped on the roof and started working. They responded right way, I give them credit for that, but if he would have firmed up and told me it would cost this much I would have been given them all A's. They were very punctual. I might use them again in the future, but everything would be in writing before I did.

Tom Bott and his crew was very professional and responsive to our requests. They got the job done when they said they would and would highly recommend. Plan to use them again if the need should ever arise.

I contacted a number of companies to try and address a ongoing issue with a leaking flat room above our sunroom. One did a patch which lasted less than a year. Tim was extreemly professional. He showed me options and discussed trafeoffs with each. They brought an entire team and worked fast. They also hit some rotting that was from the leaking that occured. They quickly discussed options with me and adjusted their work to repair the decking and finish the roofing job.

We were very pleased with the quality of the work done. They were very meticulous about cleaning up around the yard on a daily basis. There were a few other hidden defects in our roof which they could not have known about til the work had begun. They made us aware of these things as they came up and asked for our approval before doing any of that work. Because of this, we would recommend that you plan on potential additional cost. Our roof was a bit more complicated and took longer to complete than was originally predicted, which was alright with us. In this way, we felt that they were getting the job done right rather than a typical "storm-chaser" rush job.

I received an estimate only. I had someone else do the work. I thought he was very knowledgeable and offered a solution that would be the best solution to fix the problem in the long term. However, I went with another because I could not afford his solution and the others would solve the immediate problem. To his detriment he should have called me back and presented a lower cost solution. After the estimate, I never heard from him again.

The representative from Bott Roofing & Construction Inc. came over to give an estimate for the job. He was a bit late, but, kept us informed about the delay. The experience during the quote process was good. He was very expensive and uncertain. We had decided, whom to hire, but, shopped around a bit more. When we conversed with the gentlemen, he quoted us $10,000, which was way too expensive. Apart from this, he was to use products of a company, which had quality issues. He tried to convince us saying they are back in the market and everything is in place again. He stated, he can use any product of his choice, which was not a good sign to hire him.

They arrived on time and started job in a good time frame. worked very good as team. Bid came in but had to adjust it because of extent of jost damage...Informed us and also took before and after photos. Replaced roofing where they took it off to match current color and everything

Tom was very nice and professional. I did not choose this company because I felt that his estimate was not what we needed. He suggested that we replace 1/2 of the roof at a cost of $20,000. I had additional estimates from other contractors and choose one that repaired the leak at a significant amount less ($3,000).

I first called before Labor Day and was told that one of the Bott's was going to be on vacation and would it be ok if they got back to me the following week. I waited a week beyond the holiday and there were still no call-backs. I called and left a message (now 2 weeks into it). Another week after that, I called again and they said: Oh, so sorry. They sent Kevin to check the roof and take pictures. (Just a quick note on Kevin: I've been fielding ALL the estimates on our house (roof, basement, windows, etc.) My husband walked in the room, and suddenly, I wasn't really part of the conversation anymore.... Kevin said wait a couple days for the estimate. We received NO response. I went with another roofing company and am very happy with EVERYthing. One of the Bott's called me back weeks later and said how sorry they were for being unprofessional in not being responsive. I understand "busy" but too busy to call a potential client back? It's just unreasonable and unacceptable. I appreciated the final callback though.

Things went very well. The company president, Tom Bott, was very thorough in his evaluation of what needed to be done. This is a company that I felt was very easy to do business with. I felt comfortable enough in my dealings with the company personnel that I decided to add a couple of items as they were finishing the originally estimated set of work items, namely, adding a new downspout and tuckpointing a couple of problem areas.

They are very trustworthy. They are not going to rip you off and sell you something that you don't need. This guy called me back within the day and came out the next day with a detailed, professional planned project. They were very easy to work with. They did a very good job. The workers were here bright and early and didn't leave a mess. They charged what they said they would.

They were excellent. They were on time and answered all questions. They also kept me informed on what they were doing and were careful with my property. They cleaned up real well.

They did a good job and he was professional. He returns calls and was always available. Very honest and forthright. He is true to his word. I would definitely use him again.
