Description of Work: Our furnace stopped working and boy was it cold inside the house! A friend recommended Rick & his company and spoke very highly of him. We called Rick and he was very prompt and friendly. He definitely knows his stuff too! He has been in business for years and you could tell by his level of expertise as he spoke. And as it turns out, I worked with his son! Small world. As the warm weather gets here, we are getting ready to call Rick again to prepare our air conditioner for the warm weather.

+ 0 moreHe's the best. It was perfect as usual. He gets down to work and he knows where the trouble is. He memorized the system. He takes you down there and shows you. When it's finished, it's working. They're polite, clean and on time. He's got a job for life with me.
Description of Work: He does heating and cooling. He's an automatic every year for twice a year for the hot water heater and the air conditioner.

+ -1 moreExcellent people! They were efficient, polite and kept me in the loop while they were doing the work. I'm very satisfied with them. My system is working very well now and when they got here it wasn't working at all. I'll definitely use them again if needed.
Description of Work: They worked on a very tricky boiler system for me.

+ -1 moreAppt scheduled for early morning--no one arrived---called at 10:00 and was told they were hung up on a previous job and would call me later. They contacted me at 11:00 and said a technician was on the waty. Once here the waork was done smoothly and expertly---showed me how the humidifier worked, how to change the filter and set the humidity.
Description of Work: Had a honeywell humidifier installed on the furnace and a furnace tuneup done. tuneup was for 103.00 and the humidifier was installed for 620.00.

+ 0 moreThey provided us with excellent service. My husband’s reaction with the guy who we dealt with was great. My husband is deaf and so he was able to work with him. He had no problems as well. He explained everything to my husband very thoroughly. The old house had a very different heating system and he was able to take care of it. The quality of his work and his responsiveness were excellent. His professionalism was the best. We would consider using his services in the future, but we no longer have what we used his services for since we don’t have the same set up. My husband would refer him to other people who have similar things.
Description of Work: We used Rick Kuehn & Sons Heating Cooling Burner Service for the heating and plumbing work in our old house. Our last interaction with them was probably in 2007 or 2008.

+ -1 moreEverything went very well. The new opening is perfectly sized and came in handy when we had plumbing done and the crawlspace cemented by two other companies I have reviewed on Angie's List.
Description of Work: I had the venting relocated in the crawlspace so that the old junction box area could become a new, larger opening to the crawlspace.

+ -1 moreThey called the manufacturer for me and tried to figure what was wrong and if some parts were under warranty. They were out within an hour in the summertime, and they knocked off a few hundred dollars worth of labor. We ve used them for 18-20 years, and my husband has been using them for longer than that.
Description of Work: They serviced the furnace in my 1,200 square foot home. There was a defect in the design. The coils were burning up and they didn t know why it happened. They took everything out, checked it, cleaned it, took it apart, took it into the shop and eventually fixed it.
