Balanced Air was sub-contracted through my General Contractor in charge of a major first-floor gut and remodel. The employees that worked at my house were prompt, courteous, clean, and generally pleasant to have around. Before leaving the job, they even vacuumed out my air filter to remove construction dust that had accumulated. I would highly recommend Balanced Air Heating and Cooling.

The troubleshooting took a bit longer than Dan expected. It turns out that the outside exhaust and intake wall unit was the problem. Due to the extreme cold and the extreme windy conditions that day, the exhaust created condensation that froze over the intake pipe to the point that no fresh air could be sucked into the furnace. Thus it shut down the furnace. It took a while to break thru the ice on the intake pipe. Dan got the furnace working much to our relief and we slept well that night. My better half had Dan at her townhouse last year. Fixed the shorted wire on the furnace and it runs like new. Great service and a great guy.

My mother-in-law's A/C stopped working on Sun. We called Dan Monday morning and because my mother-in-law had an afternoon doctor's appointment he was able to come out in the morning to fix the A/C. By the time she left for her appointment, the A/C was working. I have used Dan for approx. 10 years. His service and advice has always been great. I would highly recommend him.

Went great. Dan has been servicing our heating/air units for the last 4 years. Absolutely honest, straight-forward, and always on time. I highly recommend him if you're in the north shore.

The owner/operator is always prompt and is very helpful. He's very transparent with things that are going to be potential expenses down the road which allows us to plan for our budget (for example when our AC unit was nearing the end of it's life). We will continue to use them in the future as well.

Overall, a great experience! Dan is very professional and informative. He made the choices very clear in his quotes and made the decision making process very easy. Crew was just as professional and punctual and everything went seamlessly.
