+ -1 moreDerek from Northern Light Painters came out to give me an estimate. He quoted be on the higher side. His price was close to what professional companies with 300+ reviews and a 5 man crew charges. However, I told him I have another painter (1 man team) willing to do it for lower. He said he would match that price. Then on the day he was going to start the work he texted me that he wants to raise the already negotiated price by over 50%.....yes by over 50%! I said no thanks and found a better more reliable painter that would not raise the price later.
Description of Work: Did not end up performing the work and raise the price on the day he was supposed to start. Also, after we negotiated a price he kept saying he wanted other things like if I mind if he slept at my place overnight to save him driving time, etc.
