Small sections of the stucco were cut out and patched and then the entire stucco surface on the second story of my home had two coats of an elastomeric coating applied to reduce/contain spider cracks in the stucco material. I opted for a lower cost repair project like this and I think it will prove to have been a good decision. The repair work appears to have been done appropriately and the results look really good. This was an affordable repair that should hold up for more than a reasonable time period. JJ Stucco may not impress with their equipment, trucks, etc., but at this point I am more than satisfied with their work (under extremely hot/humid conditions I might add!)--which was exactly what I needed from a contractor for a project of this scope. They represented very good value.

Jan is great to work with. His team did a fantastic job. Not only does the final product look good, but they were neat and cleaned up everything once they were done. They even did a few additional items and did not charge me extra.

The repair job went pretty smooth and JJ Stucco kept me informed throughout the process. Jan is a great guy - he answered all my questions and provided suggestions to prevent future bird damage. The repair looks beautiful. Mr. Jan Konicek and His team matched the color exactly with the color of the wall. Work was done as promised, when it was promised. All debris was cleaned up. We hired JJ Stucco to repair several areas of damage to the synthetic stucco finish (EIFS) on the exterior of our home. Woodpeckers had pecked several large holes in the chimney and other areas required patching or touch-up. The owner of the company, Jan Konicek is extremely knowledgeable about EIFS and does superior work. It was a pleasure to work with this company from start to finish. Jan was responsive, punctual, and professional. He carefully took samples of the EIFS to color-match the finish about a week before the actual work was done. We are entirely satisfied with the result and would definitely use this company again as we firmly believe that Jan is tops in his field.

Jan was prompt for the appointment and was able to explain the potential issues with the ivy removal, potential damage to the EIFS underneath, and repainting. Gave me a detailed estimate quickly (same day) which was so helpful as I was negotiating the ivy removal as part of my condo sale. Although this did not result in work completed, I did recommend to my condo association that they consider JJ Stucco.

The team was professional and worked quickly with the spring weather. The house needed a lot of work due to the original faulty stucco application. It looks beautiful and they even helped me replace all of my outdoor lights to LED as they were already up there with their ladders. I would highly recommend them.

Jan, the owner, is first rate. He and his crew are very quality conscious. They arrive on time and work diligently. Jan is checking and overseeing every detail. If you want your work done in a first rate manner, JJ Stucco is the answer.

Called them, and spoke to a person who seemed rushed. Gave my info, said they would come out and take a look, never to be heard from again. Job was about $9k I awarded to another responsive company that also had high reviews here on Angie's list.

Jan was responsive and came out to inspect the damage of our Stucco Siding to then give us the bad news that it was imitation stucco siding which was not their arena. He was cordial and not upset in the least for the wasted trip and time. I would use them in a minute.

From request for quote to final touch up, JJ Stucco & Plastering System supplied a complete professonal service, I was pleased with its work and definitely will ust it again.

Excellent and would highly recommend

Jan was very knowledgeable and professional. His team of Eastern European tradesmen were very capable, and together they dealt with some challenging issues which were uncovered in the initial tear-down. The work was very difficult, since most of the gables were reachable only via a very steep roof.

Come to find out, our stucco is not “real” stucco, so Jan could not help us. But I’m giving him an A for responsiveness; he got right back to me with that information the day after I contacted him. Much appreciated.

We were very happy with the communicaiton, price, and work quality of the folks from JJ Stuccoo--I plan to use them again.

It went great! They set up scaffolding and started the process when they said they would (as a matter of fact, they even started about 1 month earlier than estimated. They were already booked for 7-8 weeks when I had called (mid August). I was concerned that I wouldn't be able to get the repair done before the weather turned cold. My job was a 2 day job, so they were able to squeeze me in and gave me ample notice.

We were very happy with Jan's work on our house. The end result looks great, it resolved some water leak issues, and his price was very reasonable.

After several delays -- due to our desire to have the house painted first, and the intermittent rain during June and July -- JJ Stucco finally got their chance in August. They did a great job -- filling, patching, procuring the right color to mix with the stucco. I'd definitely go to them again.

Jan was very punctual for the estimate visit and assured us our EIFS product was in good shape. He did not see any moisture problems. He gave us the estimate on painting. Once I picked the colors, he returned (again, on time) with a sample of the colors on an EIFS sample board. He indicated sometimes there is a slight variation in the color picked out and what it looks like on EIFS. Everything looked good, so we gave final approval of colors and set up a date for Jan and his crew to return to do the work. He arrived on time the day of the work. He was here for part of the time and then left his crew to finish the job. Jan called the next day to be sure we were happy with the job. I pointed out a problem in one area and he said he would send his painters back in a few days. One painter did return, and although he did not seem to agree with us that there was a problem, he nonetheless went over the area again and it now looks much better. Jan trusted us to send him the payment once the job was done to our satisfaction. I waited a couple of days to be sure the touched up areas looked good and then sent him a check.
