Response from Wiz Team Inc
Dear Angie's List Member, After reviewing and consulting all Wiz Team staff involved on your project we have a following clarification on events that occurred on March 2nd, 2015 (the date of your Water Damage Inspection). Our Master Technician came out to your property on March 2nd of 2015 when a vendor referred you to us - stating that you had experienced a frozen pipe bursting in your home and that you needed immediate assistance with water damage. Our receptionist made arrangements to have our Master Technician leave a job site as our schedule was fully booked for that date, however, to accommodate your situation we ensured to have someone out to your home within an hour window set on the above mentioned date. Our receptionist also made clear upon the initial point of communication, that all emergency service response calls did in fact have a $250.00 emergency fee associated due upon arrival. This emergency water damage inspection included: Moisture readings, Thermal Imaging, Humidity Readings, Photo documentation and estimation of work scope and associated cost to rectify the loss. Our Master Technician arrived on March 2nd of 2015 in the time window setup for the client between the hours of 11:00AM and 12:00PM, with a half hour prior to arrival telephone call. He arrived punctually as we do with every single appointment we set, regardless of conditions. Upon meeting the client our Master Technician was greeted at the doorstep with a comment, "If there is an inspection fee then we don't want you to do the inspection.". Our Master Technician felt empathetic toward the clients situation and decided to waive the fees associated in light of helping the client out with the loss regardless. The client agreed to have the inspection performed under those terms. Proceeding our Master Technician not only performed the routine water damage inspection: moisture reading, temperature reading, thermal imaging photography, and water source detection. But furthermore, provided the client with insights to other areas already beginning to be afflicted by the water intrusion unbeknownst to the client. Going further, our Master Technician invested his time in providing the client with expert professional advice on how to proceed from this point forward in efforts to aid the client in prevention of secondary and tertiary damages to the integral structure of his property. Upon completion of the inspection process the client informed our Master Technician that he would proceed by contacting his insurance company to discuss the matter. Our Master Technician wished the client all the best of luck and informed him that if he needed any assistance on the water damage to simply contact us. Both our Technician and the client parted on good terms. During this entire appointment and thereafter, at no point, was there any form of monies exchanged between client and company Wiz Team, Inc. or any entities thereof. Several hours after this water damage inspection was performed the client contacted the Wiz Team, Inc. office to inform us that he will not be proceeding in hiring Wiz Team, Inc to perform any of the work, and that instead he will be choosing to go with his insurance companies suggested preferred vendor. The events described above outline and concluded our business dealings with this particular client. If you would be as kind as; to correctly mark this review - we do not quite understand how you could have had a service performed but simultaneously choose not to use us. We feel that this review is a poor reflection of actual events and should not be weighed equally since you have chosen not to experience the outstanding service we provide.
