+ -1 moreGarrett McKenzie is a very professional company. Unfortunately I have needed their services 3 other times as well. They come out immediately, day or night, weekday or weekend, and get the water out of the house. They offer sanitization of wet items as well.
Description of Work: Cleaned up the water from 2 broken window wells in my basement. They removed the trim, padding, pulled back the carpet, moved all the furniture, dried, and dehumidified my basement.

Description of Work: When I was selling my house I received a quote to remediate a small amount of mold in the attic. Garrett McKenzie gave me a very expensive quote--more than 4x another quote I received. The scope of the work they wanted to do seemed like gross overkill for the small amount of mold detected in the attic. I did not use this company for the work and was very thankful when I found another company (thanks to Angie's List) that was much more resonable in terms of scope and cost.

+ -1 moreWater seeped into parts of the drywall and through about 16 square feet of carpeting in our finished basement. Within about an hour of calling Garrett McKenzie, their crew arrived, pulled up the damp carpeting, and set up two high-powered fans and a dehumidifier. They returned the next day to check on progress and to make adjustments. Three days later, they returned, verified that all was dry and restored, reinserted the carpet underneath the strips, and removed their equipment. The cost matched the estimate that was given over the phone during the initial call. We were very satisfied with the results and pleased that the company took the incident very seriously in spite of the small size of the damage (compared with customers who no doubt had fully flooded basements).
Description of Work: Remediation of water damage in a finished basement caused by a plugged pipe from the humidifier and A/C.
