They are courteous and prompt. They were very efficient and cleaned up the yard well while still being professional.

This was a terrific experience! First, Amy came out to our house to give us an estimate. She was kind, thoughtful, considerate of our old home and the type of landscaping that would look nice with it, and offered great design advice. We got estimates from several places that day, but Terra was the best! She then agreed to come out on a Sunday (?!?) to do the work. She and her helper did the actual work, so I was not concerned about the ideas we'd spoken about having (or having NOT been) relayed to someone else. She built out the landscaping exactly as we'd talked about, looked even better than I'd imagined, and they cleaned up beautifully! They even took the extra steps of hauling the extra plants into my backyard and taking some off my hands for me! Overall, just a wonderful experience. I'll definitely be calling Amy Kress at Terra Garden for any more landscaping/planting help I need in the future!

Overall it was fantastic. I found Amy through Angie's List after getting many quotes. She is very ecologically friendly. She completely landscaped my front and backyards. My lot is a typical 25' X 125' foot lot. There is a small front yard and a small backyard. The front yard at the time was dirt with a few dying plants. The backyard was entirely filled with weeds and nothing else. She was very prompt and worked one day until 9pm. The transformation of my yards is unbelievable. I told her I hate gardening and she said "no problem." Also my brick paver walkway in the back had completely sunk into the ground. Talk about the extra mile. She pulled all the weeds in the back by hand! Because of her focus on eco-friendly gardening and didn't use any chemicals! All soil replacement was organic. I have new very hardy plants and new grass seed that has already started growing. The walkway was completely torn out and re-done. I was told by other contractors that the walkway alone would be $500, just to do that and I definitely got more than my money's worth regarding that portion of the job. I have all new plants that I absolutely love. I don't know and don't like gardening, but love flowers and told her to pick whatever flowers wouldn't die. She redesigned the whole thing. Now my yards are beautiful and green. I'm sure my neighbors are much happier too, since I live in a old 2-flat and my neighbors own mansions with perfect landscaping. I was definitely the white trash lawn of the block. Another contractor was going to charge me $750 JUST to redesign my yard before planting anything. Give me a break, for a 200 Sq Ft front yard and a 250 Sq Ft backyard. She's amazing, use her.

She pulled weeds along our fence line, and through our entire perennial garden. Amy pulled out dead flowers that were taking over part of the perennial bed to make room for new plants. She provided us with a complete garden design of our perennial bed on paper with the names of each plant. Gave us ideas of what plants we could add to our existing bed to add some color, while bringing balance to the original design. In addition, she also suggested adding mulch in order to keep the weeds to a minimum. She then provided us with an estimate within two days, and called back to schedule an appointment. Price was fair, and work performed was great.
