It went very well. They are very professional. I've used them before and I will use them again the future.

Company made a timely appointment and the salesman/arborist was professional, personable and seemed knowledgeable. Got a reasonably detailed estimate on what seemed to be the high side for the job, so I shopped the project and got it done very well with another service for half of the quoted price. As it turns out, I definitely had an emerald ash borer problem with the largest of the trees above, and I mentioned that possibility with the arborist when we talked about removing it. He was non-responsive on the subject, but the service I ended up using not only showed me the evidence before taking any action but after cutting down the tree followed up by showing me the evidence inside the tree. The reason this is significant is that over 50% of the trees on the property are Ash. The Care of Trees is a much larger organization than the local service I used and I find myself wondering why their arborist did not discuss the borer problem with me in light of what turns out to be definite evidence (now that I have been educated in what to look for).

Tom came to look at a couple trees that another service had told us needed all kinds of treatments. He said one tree in the back had "leftover" from an insect last year and was fine now. He discussed trimming another tree in the back but didn't feel it would be worth it this summer, recommended doing it next year. He confirmed that a tree in front of the house was dead but that since it was in the parkway area, just to call the village and have them remove it (which I did).I really appreciated his honesty and taking the time to evaluate each of the trees we had concern about. I will definitely call him next spring to trim our backyard trees.

We had a tree fall on our house during a recent storm. Jake came out immediately to assess the damage and provide a written estimate of the removal fees. He told us immediately the storm had created a lot of damage to the area and they would be assessing how best to manage the workload based on level of damage, etc. The tree did not damage the house structurally, but we were concerned. Jake was responsive to our inquiries but wasn't able to provide a firm estimate of the work for about two weeks. The crew arrived on time and managed the removal with precision and confidence. They cleaned up the work site exceptionally well. Because the logs were so big, they needed to have a second crew remove them later and a third crew grind up the stump. Again, the follow up work was completed with no concerns. When the work was all done, Care of Trees contacted us to confirm we were satisfied with the quality of the work. Again, except for the two week delay in getting the tree of our house (with justification from Care of Trees), the work exceeded our expectations. We would definitely use them again.

They did an excellent job. We had 6 trees that needed to come down after the tops blew off the trees and they did great. I wanted someone who could take the trees down well, so that's why we hired this company. I knew they would do a good job. Some people will just let them fall over, but we needed to make sure they fell the right way, which they did for us. And they cleaned up very well after themselves, they cleaned up everything.

While he had a pressing appointment (tree toppled onto a house during a storm), he was not anxious or pushy.

They are the local franchise. We have been using them every summer for a good many years. We used them last summer and are prepared to use them this summer. We spend annually for the service. They are very complete in explaining what they are suggesting to you to do. They are very prompt. They clean up after themselves. The work seems to be of a highly professional correct character. I know a little bit about trees. I have no experience about the price although I would be afraid to call somebody that would do it for astonishingly less. The quality is very good. The tree hasn't fallen down.

It went really well and they were excellent. They told us what was going on after they did the service. They told us to water the lawn and told us other things as well. They helped us by doing a really good job. I would use their services in the future too.

Their arbonist, Tom Ginnow, is great. He is very knowledgable and takes his time to work with you. He is always available to come over and consult with you when needed. The work they do is very good.

I'm extremely happy with the work done by Jason of Davey Tree Expert Company. In preparation for a construction project, my contractor told me I needed to cut down a very large tree in my front yard in order to allow enough room for equipment access on my narrow lot. I spoke with a landscaper I had used in the past to see if the tree could be moved, and was told no, their tree-moving equipment wouldn't be able to get down the steep hill into the back yard, where I wanted the tree replanted. I called Davey to ask if they could move the tree. Jason came to look at it, and told me he didn't recommend moving it because it was so large, but suggested tying the tree back so the equipment could get past it. This option wasn't mentioned by the contractor, or my landscaper. Jason and a helper came to my house on a Saturday morning and carefully tied the tree branches back. While he was here Jason called my contractor to confirm the exact amount of space required. He also suggested I water the tree a lot prior to construction, and have the contractor put down plywood so the tree's roots wouldn't be damaged by the weight of the equipment. When he returns to untie the tree after construction is finished, he'll fertilize it and prune any damaged branches. When construction started, there was some equipment that was taller than the contractor had previously indicated. As a result some additional branches needed to be tied back. I called Davey, and Jason came to my house right away and did the extra work without charging me for it.

The arborist was very impressive. I spoke to him more and a few weeks later his guys came and worked. Some of the pruning wasn?t exactly right.

They were half the price of their competitors. They did a great job. They came out in the evening and by the next morning the tree was removed. Professional, very good and on time company. They cleaned up well.

I was initially very impressed with them. I called on a Friday after a storm toppled one of my trees. The arborist came out on Monday to look at everything and told me he would give me an estimate "soon." Two weeks later, no estimate, so I emailed him, and he stated he was very busy and would get back to me soon. Well, that was two months ago. I was impressed enough with the scope of knowledge of the arborist that I was willing to go with the company based on that (as well as a neighbor's recommendation) without getting other quotes, but it seems I was out of luck. I guess my business wasn't that important when things got busy.

The receptionist explained to me that they were very busy and had no appointments available for an arborist to give an estimate for several days out. And, she continued that it would be several weeks before the job could be done. When I explained that this would be a SUBSTANTIAL job and could I please just speak with a representative or have someone "drive by", the answer was no. The result is that Glenwood Tree Experts, whom I have previously used, was out the next day; they will do the job next week. This company missed bidding on an almost $3500 job.

They did a super job. The showed up when I expected them to and were very good about blocking off space so others would not get in their way for safety concerns, as they did this work for the church. All in all, I was very satisfied. They held to their estimate and when people needed to go through the alleyway, they were very accommodating & moved out of the way.

We are very pleased with them. They are a very trusted organization.

They've been prompt and seem to follow up. I like their billing process - they'll leave a notice and then the statement follows. I'll continue to use them.

An arborer, Jacob Kubiseal, came out first and we discussed what needed to be done. He appeared to be very expert. The first scheduled day was too cold to work, so we rescheduled a week later. They appeared on time (a little early) and worked steadily until finished. Jacob came with them at the start and appeared 2/3 of the way along to check how things were going.
