One person arrived promptly. He assessed the situation. Immediately called for another person and the proper equipment. Service completed within 90 minutes.

The plumber who came told me that our system had failed the test and to become compliant it would be about a $600 fix. Something about his demeanor made me feel like I should get a second opinion. Since our house is not very old (6 years), I also did not feel like the system should be defective yet. I called in a company that only tests back flow devices (that I found on AL) and sure enough, my system was fine. This has made me feel that HT Strenger is not trustworthy and I will not be using them again for this or any other plumbing needs.

I really like them. I've used them for 30 years. They are very expensive but they do what they say. They did a very nice job as always. They are very good.

We were satisfied with the work and they were prompt and within budget.

They did some work us. They did rot out and looked at the line to figure out what the problem was.

Matt arrived and got his hands on the task immediately. He found the problem rapidly, got the parts form the truck and fix the problem in less than an hour.

Everything went well, but didn't hook up pipe to sewer drainage outside properly. Once we discovered it, they came back and corrected the issue.

I have used H T Strenger twice and will be calling them again next week. The service man is clean, efficient and polite. He will explain if you ask him. They provided very personable service when needed to buy a new faucet. They sent us options. I will continue to use them.

They have done a good job. They have always been responsive. When I called them they were very responsive and especially because they are a little bit away from us. If I call them they will be out even in an emergency situation and they will come out the same day. Regarding the pricing I didn’t get a quote from a lot of people. They were here when they said they would be.

Carl was very professional from the start. He was very knowledgeable, and considerate throughout. For instance, when I mentioned that I would be renovating my kitchen in the future, he created a separate cap on the gas line to be able to tap into easily for the next plumber when they do the new gas oven. The water heater is very unique, so Carl took extra time to ensure that it was installed perfectly right, and has been back in touch to ensure that all is well. I had quotes from 3 different companies, and Strenger was not cheap, but the best quote for the service performed. And the professionality came through, well worth the money.

Carl was here on three occasions in the last year or so. It was great to have the same plumber for all of the problems I had. He arrived on time and fixed everything and even put a new handle on the fridge so that I could turn it easily if I had to again.

Things are fine. I thought the work was outstanding. They came out promptly. They had the product that I needed. They also came back, when I thought I had a problem with it, promptly.

I chose Strenger based on Angie's reviews and was very pleased. The repair was done very quickly even tho it required getting a permit. The workmen even put back the bush they had to remove to get to the broken line. Hopefully the bush survived the winter, but replacing it will not be a big issue. As I was a first-time customer, the owner graciously discounted the price per the ad he had running with Angie's List. For a big ticket repair like this, that was MOST appreciated. I would not hesitate to call them again. Thanks Strenger!

They were very professional. Met there estimate with no over runs. Put down temporary runners over carpet. Cleaned up every day & left the house in its original state. The sewer break involved digging the yard up & moving shrubs. This also was done with no damage to yard. Very impressive.

Came out and found an innovative and efficient way to solve the problem, in a short amount of time.

He was wonderful! We had taken a lightning strike which fried the limit control switch. He replaced it, check the other electronics and the air in the boot and made any needed adjustments. They had our file from when we put in the pump years ago. Really nice people.

They're good guys. They did a good work. They're a little pricey at times. Their follow-up was not great. They're supposed to give me a quote on installing a new washer and dryer in my basement, that was 5 months ago. I've reminded them once and I still haven't gotten the quote. Other than that, they're good people and they do a good work when they come out. One time I called them for an emergency visit and they didn't come out. They wanted me to call the warranty company instead. They come out when they said they're going to come out.

December: Didn't go well. The toilet is still leaking and the sink plunger isn't working at all. So, I feel like I paid for work that isn't lasting or was worth the money. I'm really disappointed that a month later those two things aren't working. February: I received a call fro them and they said that the service would be covered under their warranty versus what I was concerned about which was paying more to have them come out again. They also did some more work on the two toilets (one issue I had that needed to be fixed right away) and a couple other things that I thought might be an issue and turned out to be (like a wax right that was clogging part of the flow for one toilet). I think they did a fantastic job and would gladly work with them again.

The frigid Chicago winter froze a pipe that burst in my crawl space. Prior to calling this company I called another 'A' rated company on Angie's List. The tech came out the day before, showed up at 5pm and said he was not going under the crawl to fix the pipe. Overall, I was very impressed with H.T Strenger Plumbing. When I made the appointment, the person on the phone listened to my issue and said he would send Jesse. He said, Jesse is good at that kind of work. And it turned out he really was. When Jesse arrived he listened to my issue, looked at the interior pipes and without hesitation, suited up and went down into the crawl. This was not an easy job for anyone. It was cold, dark, muddy and damp. Jesse had to crawl to the back of the house to get to the pipe. I was blown away when Jesse came out a couple of hours later and said it was fixed. I have nothing against newer tech's, but if companies would just listen to their client's issue and send the guy that best fits the situation they would probably build a bigger customer base. In my situation, Jesse was definitely the qualified guy to do the job I had. He did an outstanding job, was perfessional and even had a sense of humor. I don't think the tech from the other company that showed up the day before knew what to do or just didn't want to do it. This was a good experience and I am very greatful for the job Jesse did.

Work is excellent, my only complaint is the price

He was on time, very professional and friendly. He found a simple solution to the problem and didn't try to make us purchase things to fix it.

The plumber was very pleasant to deal with and very thorough. He wanted to ensure the clog was completely cleared. He cleaned up after himself.

It went great. Carl was prompt and had the old unit out and replaced quickly. He also made sure that the area was as clean as when he started.
