Description of Work: I highly recommend Bartlett Tree Service for Tree Care or Tree Removal. They removed a 60' Honey Locust from our back patio area that had overstayed its welcome. | |From the initial request for a quote to the actual execution of service I was very impressed. They answered the phone right away, scheduled the appointment and on the date of the appointment were running late and called me 15 minutes before the expected time to allow for rescheduling. When they arrived, the quote was made verbally and then documented in an email within the hour. | |On the date of removal, they arrived exactly on time, communicated very clearly, were very friendly and removed the tree very professionally. The clean up was exceptional. | |I have nothing but good things to say about my experience with Bartlett and highly recommend them for consideration for any tree service.

Description of Work: We had Bartlett remove a tree and grind the stump. The timing of having the work done was screwed up because it rained a lot the week it was supposed to be done. It was not an urgent matter for us to have the tree removed, so we were ok with the loose time frame that they gave us. | |The only issues that we had had to do with the grinding of the stump. We were told from the start that the tree would be removed one day, and then they would come back a few days later to grind out the stump. After they removed the tree, we waiting over a week, and the stump was still not dealt with. We then received an invoice from Bartlett asking for full payment for all services. We called them on a Monday and they said that they thought the stump had been done already, and we did not need to pay until after they came out. He said they would have someone out as soon as possible to take care of the stump. It then rained a lot that week again, so I was not surprised that the stump was not taken care of during the week - I would rather have a stump than a torn up lawn from the grinder. The Saturday after we called, someone came to do the stump. We were fine with them coming on a Saturday, the only issue that we had was that they rang our doorbell at 8am on a Saturday with no previous warning, so my wife and I were still in bed. We ignored the doorbell since we had no idea who it was, and when we woke up later, saw the stump had been ground. All in all, it was fine, it just would have been nice to be warned that they would be ringing the doorbell that early on a weekend. | |Overall, we were happy with the work done, and would be glad to use Bartlett if we have a need again in the future.

Description of Work: Bartlett tree removed two very large blue spruce evergreens and ground out the stumps. They also removed a crab apple tree and ground out the stump. I had another stump from old bushes that were removed and they also took care of that stump.

Description of Work: Sprayed grass around the tree with roundup. They installed a 2-4 inch layer of wood chips around my honey locust tree. Pruned the tree and removed all debris. Came back and applied a prescription soil treatment and fertilized the tree.
