I've called this company twice in two months for a quote on possible work needed on my roof and have yet to hear from them. The first time, I figured they were busy and just simply forgot to return my call. I called a second time and again no call back. I will not be calling them again!

I obtained 4 quotations for re-roofing my home and garage. Pete Ciraulo of Ciraulo & Sons Construction, LLC was the most honest in describing the problem I had with the existing defective organic shingles I had installed as a new roof on my home and garage in 2000. Unfortunately Globe Manufacturing, the shingle manufacturer filed for bankruptcy as a result of this problem with their shingles. Pete was very thorough in explaining the history of shingles and in guiding me in making a decision regarding replacement shingles. Other roofers, including the original installer in 2000, suggested I file an insurance claim so they could be paid direct. I followed up and had an insurance adjuster look at the roofs and he confirmed the problem was related to defective shingles. I did not file an insurance claim. I have filed a claim with the Illinois Attorney General to look into possible fraud with the original roofing installer and shingle distributor. I hired Ciraulo & Sons two weeks after obtaining quotations. Pete was very accommodating in delivering samples, answering questions, and scheduling the job. Pete did what he said he would do, when he said he would do it, and his crew did an excellent job. I would highly recommend Ciraulo & Sons based on Pete Ciraulo's character and honest way of conducting business. His crew was also professional, respectful, quiet (according to neighbors comments), and did a thorough job cleaning up at the end of each day and upon completion of the job. A final comment is that I was impressed with Ciraulo & Sons proposal requiring no down payment until the job is completed to the customer's satisfaction and his 10 year labor warranty on workmanship. Pete advised me his crew has been with him 15-20+ years, that he has total confidence in them and that he has never had a problem with getting paid as his work is always performed to his level of commitment and expectation.

When we recently purchased the house, we already knew that the roof was old and sagging from years of neglect by the previous owner and from poor ventilation in the attic. Pete came out and did a full inspection of the roof and attic and sat down with us for over 30 minutes to give his thoughts and recommendations on fixing the sagging issue and properly increasing the ventaltion. Pete is clearly knowledgeable in most aspects of home building, so I walked away from that meeting having learned something. Pete also gave us the best solution vs. the other 4 bids that we received. The team arrived promptly at 7:30am and got to work. The roof was completed in the afternoon and the team did a great job cleaning up. I definitely recommend Pete and his team.

Pete came out the day after I called to review the damaged area. In addition to the area I could see was damaged Pete found two other areas that needed repair. He gave me a very reasonable estimate for the work and did not try to sell me on anything I didn't need. His roofer was out the next day to repair the damage and did a great job. I would definitely use his firm again.

They did a great job. Pete communicated with us through the whole process. His crew chief Leo was on time and responsive to any questions we had. I felt like they were knowledgeable and took the time to find out what we needed. Very efficient and considerate leaving the work site clean every evening.

We have a steep Cape Cod roof on the main portion of the house with a flat roof over an addition. Pete was quick to respond to our call. He walked the flat roof to take a good look at the flat roof and the main cape cod roof, gave an overview of what he would do and explained several of the finer details. We appreciated that. His quote was extremely clear and detailed, a positive from our point of view. The crew arrived on the day of work at 7:30 am and finished the entire job in one day. The clean up was terrific. We walked the flat roof the next morning to check everything out and we were very impressed with the workmanship. The crew attended to details we simply haven't seen on our roof(s) previously. We expect this roof to perform very well and were very pleased we chose Ciraulo & Sons for our reroof.

We were impressed with the detailed estimate given, so there was no question about what was to be done or the cost. Pete's crew arrived on time about 7:30 a.m. and started to work right away. It was an all day job and they worked through the early evening to complete the job and clean up. Very satisfied and would use them again.

they did a neat job taking off the old roof. they installed a 6 foot poly sheet to prevent ice damming and then installed the new roof. The new roof was done well and has lasted 10 years so far. I have and would recommend these roofers.

It was great. I really can't say enough about these guys. Right from the start with the estimate and through out the job they were professional, prompt, courteous, and very informative. The clean up was very good - it was a complete tear of so there was quite a lot of debris and when they were done it was very clean. Pete Ciraulo came out for the estimate and spent a good amount of time telling me about my roof before I had made the decision to use them. I actually got 8 estimates because I didn't think that many would call back. Out of those there were a few who seemed ok too, but Pete took the most time to explain things to me. When the estimate came (promptly) it was very detailed and included a list of references. It also included a 2 page document on consumer rights - they were the only ones to do that. On the day of the job the crew and Pete arrived when they said they would. Pete explained the whole job to me and answered my questions. The guys on the crew were very nice as well and did an amazing job.The roof looks great, I am very happy with the job.

Pete came out to give us an estimate and was very friendly and knowledgable. Since our chimney is no longer used for venting our furnace, just our water heater, he also gave us a price for chimney removal and a new vent pipe. His price for that work was considerably lower than another roofer quoted us. He explained the differences between the available shingles and his experiences with those companies and their products, which made our decision on which shingle to use much easier. Our start date for the work was delayed for a couple of weeks due to the extensive rain we had in April. We finally got our day scheduled and Pete and the crew showed up when indicated, which was 7:30 a.m. The crew worked non-stop, only breaking for lunch, until they completed the job around 6:30 that same evening. They did a good job cleaning up all around the house and garage. The roof looks great!

Everything went great! My experience with Ciraulo & Sons was very easy.They fit me in within if I remember correctly,eight,nine days of estimate date,which I really appreciated.I feel my estimate was fair,as a matter of fact so does an acquaintance of ours,they will be calling Pete soon for an estimate themselves .

We had an emergency situation with recent heavy rains. My husband discovered two areas of constant water drip in the garage during day one of a series of heavy rain storm days (the recent one that flooded most of Chicagoland and Indiana). I called to request an estimate and possibly start work as soon as possible to prevent further damage. NEVER got a phone call back after leaving my message. This was disappointing since I stressed our urgency and that we found them on Angie's list with great reviews. I did read that one other reviewer said the company wasn't responsive but chose to disregard it since there were all the other positive reviews. I guess that reviewer did have validity in their claim as I ran into the same issue. I guess I wouldn't recommend them if you're desperate with a time issue and hoping they'd come to your roofing rescue.

Service for estimate and actual work was excellent. Professionsl yet friendly service. Completed work in one day and cleaned gutters and work site completely.

Pete was very helpful and professional. Our roof had a lot of water damage. He was upfront about the costs and what he might find once the roof was removed. No surprises. The crew was quick and clean up was thorough.

We had a great experience. Pete was very professional and attentive. If we left a message he would call us back right away. He was very patient with all of our questions. They removed the old roof and put in the new one all in one day. They weren't the least expensive or the most expensive but I felt the cost was well worth the service we received.

I had a few estimates on my roof tear off and new windows on the second floor. This was not the lowest or highest bid. He sounded very capable of the work he could do, so I hired him. Very good work. He is the person that told me to join Angies list to look for roofers I might like. I have had a lot of trouble with roofs on this house in the past [weird angles from additions] even though they were all tear offs. This roof seems great. No problems at all .

The experience was a great success when you have someone like Pete Ciraulo who knows his business, and offered do's & don't for this project. Very honest company that I would use again or recommend to a neighbor, friend or coworker.

Ideally. Owner came out for estimate; he provided a lot of information and made suggestions. The job was scheduled and they came on the date promised. The crew were polite and cleaned up after the job. They did a great job. We had a question about one of the downspouts; the owner came the next day and it was fixed immediately. I was so pleased with the job that I used them 9 months later to roof and repair my aunts' bungalow that I was getting ready for sale.

Pete responded to my initial phone call the same day, answered all my questions and told me an approximate time when he would come to look at the roof. His proposal was straightforward and included a list of references and actual color samples of shingles. The certificate of insurance I asked for was promptly forwarded to me. The cost was very competitive and there were no surprises. The roofers were very neat and carefully protected what remained in the garden near the garage. My new roof looks great. What I thought was going to be a hassle turned out to be a smooth experience with Ciraulo & Sons. I would definitely use them again.

I ahve contacted 3 companies for quotes on this job. I contacted CIRAULO & SONS Construction via their website. Pete Ciraulo called the next day to arrange an appointment and arrived promptly within days on a Saturday. Pete was very efficient with the survey and had a keen eye on the details. He was the only contractor who suggested the replacement of the power vent during the work. He offered the replacement for free, granted I have the replacement unit ready. Pete was the only contractor who provided an on-the-spot estimate of the overall cost, with the numbers matching the official quote produced within days. He provided several the addresses of his recent work in the area and they looked fabulous. While the quote was very reasonable we decided to go with another company because of other reasons. We would definitely will use their services in the future. I highly recommend the company.

Everyone, Trust me when I say, you can't go wrong with Pete! Pete was 1 out of 7 roofers I considered listed on Angies List. Since I work during the week, I had no choice but to have each roofing company come out to the house to provide an estimate while away. Many did not give me an option of coming out during the weekend to give an estimate. In addition, many of the estimates were as high as $9,000 (just for roof of house and garage) to as low as $4,500.00. However, Pete was the only one who came out during the weekend and spent a little more than 1 1/2 hours with me and my wife. He really took the time to explain what work I trully needed (unlike the others). For example: Other roofers quoted me for more work than what was needed. Pete on the other hand saved me money by simply re-haning a three-foot section of existing gutters vs. purchasing new ones. He also saved me money by only needing to replace the facia on one side of the house vs. all four sides. In the beginning, he provided us a sample book with assorted shingle colors, my wife and I decided to go with Pete two weeks later. Pete was able to start work 1 week after signing the contract. His crew arrived at around 7:30 am in the morning, rented a dumpster and was professional and effcient. Pete was onsite most of the time managing his crew who has been with him for over 15 years. You can tell they know what they are doing! My neighbors have complimented me on the roof and I will use them again in the future! Kudos to pete and his crew!

The roof looks great! The job was excellent. Pete Ciraulo came out the day after I called for an estimate. Pete is a great guy and REALLY know his business. He offered a number of suggestions on how to do the roofing work, vent placement and the differences in the shingles available. Pete's price was also very competitive and he took care of the permit and dumpster, all included in his price. The crew worked extremely hard and did a clean up better than I probably would have done. Had I come home and they were gone, I would not have known they had been there, it was that clean. There would be no question on who I would recommend if anyone needed roofing, it would be Pete Ciraulo!

We found the company on Angie's list. Called and asked for an estimate. Pete was on time and on the day promised for the estimate.A written estimate was supplied detailing the work to be performed and materials to be used. He gave us several job sites in our area we could look at. This was helpful in choosing the color of the new roof. Work was completed on time. A thorough cleanup of the job site was made. The job took about 3 days. Crew often worked more than eight hour day very courteous and professional.

This was a dream come true job. When I first met Pete and explained what I needed, he was very patient and explained the whole process to me. I was not only getting two new roofs, but I was replacing all of my old gutters and downspouts on both the house and garage. Along with that, I also had two leaky skylights that needed to be replaced. I couldn't have asked for a more professional team of workers that the owner, Pete, used for my job. Their workmanship was superb and they cleaned up every night. They addressed all of my questions and worked quickly. I would definitely recommend this business to anyone that needs these types of services. I would use them again in a heartbeat and I will be spreading the good word about this company.
