Description of Work: Our roof was not only old, it was not professionally done...by someone, who at the time, we trusted. We were lucky we didn't spring a leak! Peter came out quickly, gave us a complete estimate, and started the job as soon as weather would permit. Pete showed, (and explained in 'girl' terms...) why the roof needed to be done, and how he was going to put on a structurally sound roof. He replaced our gutters...they really look sharp. The entire house looks fantastic... His crew, (yes, you, LEO!!) was professional, neat, and they cleaned up after they finished FOR THE DAY...not only when the job was done. Peter was referred by two other friends, who I trust, and we certainly were not disappointed. While I don't think I'll have to hire him again (their work is that good!), I will have no problem referring him to anyone who needs a good, solid, and ethical roofer.

Description of Work: The flat membrane roof over our family room addition was leaking and water was dripping into the family room. With all of the rain and storms in June, we were in a hurry to fix the issue. I talked to Pete and he was at the house in an hour and told us we needed to replace the roof (I had two other contractors tell me the same thing). He also spotted some other minor issues with the pitched roof on the main house, as well as some missing shingles on a dormer window. He sent me a quote the next day (Thursday) and had his crew at the house the following Monday. None of the other roofers I spoke with could see us that quickly. He was also the most competively priced and cut us a break on some extra last minute work. | |I also appreciated the time Pete took to explain the work they were doing, the materials they used, why they used those materials, etc. He was very responsive to my calls and emails and spent a lot of time talking to me. | |Just a great overall experience and a pleasure to work with an honest contractor that does quality work.

Description of Work: Pete and his company replaced the roof and flashing on our home built in 1927. We have had problems with the roof in the past and worked with a roofer that was less than professional. Pete was wonderful. We didn't think we could afford the copper flashing but he insisted that it would look the best on our older home and helped us work out the price. He was extremely professional and did an excellent job! I would highly recommend him to anyone!

I did receive a few phone calls from this gentleman but after the first phone call that I received I did call the number he had left which was a cell and informed him that I do not work on cedar roofs. He was looking for a repair on a "cedar shake" shingle which is a diferent trade for the most part. I do have some calls that fall through the cracks sometimes but this was not one of them.
