We are a new business, located in Maywood Il, with roots in both Oak Park and River Forest, IL. DBT is a small heating and air conditioning company that's ready to take on all jobs. We service all parts of Chicago and the surrounding neighborhoods. We work on furnaces, boilers, AC units, and water heaters. "I’m hesitant when sourcing new vendors for repairs and installs at our home because of past terrible experiences but this was absolutely one of the best. Tone (the owner) was prompt and able to do an emergency job for us right after thanksgiving when our furnace finally failed just when we hit freezing temperatures. Within 24hrs we had a new unit, reasonably priced for the install fee. He even identified a bigger issue from the original install of our old u it that was causing us major issues and spent several hours repairing it so our new unit would work properly. He truly went above and beyond, great communication and service especially for a small mom and pop vendor. My husband has even referred him to properties he manages for service because of our experience, which is rare for him to do."

I know plumbers don't make anywhere near what we were charged. Even with overhead and a less than 1 hour job with $30 worth of parts, it is nowhere near what we were charged. Quite criminal. Wouldn't use them again. Boooooo."

We bid with two other HVAC contractors and we pulled the trigger with Jim and his team. What put them apart was that they took their time assessing our home and situation, walked through all possible options, and clearly communicated those options. They evaluated and wanted to find the most feasible option for us, with efficiency and cost in mind. The other contractors came through and kind of already had their minds set on what heating system to use. Jim is also very personable, knowledgeable, and easy to communicate with. Jim and Carlton's proposal was the most cost effective overall - the unit/system itself and our personal ROI. It was gas as opposed to electric, the job was the least complex in terms of labor and construction, and it's functionality was worth the price."
