He inspected my 17 year old roof, found a few problems other than the missing shingles, not visible to me from the ground. Mike was professional, prompt and personable.  + 0 moreI left a message and received a call back in less than an hour. Mike was able to come out the next day to go over my concerns. He was on time and professional. While he was not able to fix my problem, he was very knowledgable and gave me information on what to look for from the repair company I do hire. Also due to the weather and time of year he wasn't able to caulk around my chimney because it would not adhere and just fall off. I appreciate that he did not just do the repairs (even though they wouldn't work) to take my money. I will be calling him in the spring/summer time to do the repairs.

 + -1 moreMike showed up within two hours of my call to do the repairs. He had the matching shingle color in his van and did a very good job of repairing the roof and explaining what he found and what he did to fix it. I would highly recommend him and will be using him in the future.

Description of Work: We had a difficult time getting anyone to do some small roofing repairs around our chimney and a portion of the eave. We had two roofers come out and give us quotes but they never showed up to do the work even after repeated promises to do so. That's when we decided to subscribed to Angies' List. Mike Collins was the first roofer we called. He inspected the roof and told us the previous quotes where unnecessarily expensive and quoted us a substantially lower price. He gave us a scheduled dated for the work to begin and also temporarily patched the leak to avoid further damage until he could get out to complete the job. We know small jobs can be difficult for contractors but it's nice to find one that actually means it when they say "no job is too small". We definitely recommend Mike Collins Roofing.

 + -1 moreIt took all of maybe 1/2 hour to complete the work. When Mike was finished, he reassured me my roof was good for another 15 years. I would highly recommend Mike to anyone. He is thorough and honest.
Description of Work: I had previously hired Mike to fix some blown shingles from my two story house. After some rough winds this winter, I noticed a couple small pieces of shingles missing from the top of my roof. I called Mike and he came out the next day and replaced the shingles and made sure no other shingles were loose. He caulked and secured a couple of loose shingles as well.
