It was a very smooth process from start to finish. We were extremely pleased with everything. They were the first quote we received and they had the best price. We had other quotes that were more expensive for units that were less efficient. The salesperson, Tony was very nice and answered all of our questions and followed-up with us thru the process. Installation went great, they were clean and very professional, even took the time to show us how to use the new thermostat after everything was installed. They even called us a few weeks ago and informed us about tax deductions that we can get! I would definitely recommend them!!! Keep up the great work!

Perfect. It was my second time using them and they're always great. I would recommend contacting them via phone rather than email, as their dispatch department is amazing. Promptly scheduled, arrived on time, very professional, and most importantly fixed the issue. Freon was added and everything is working perfect again. Will always call them for any HVAC issue.

The thing that first impressed me was how pleasant the staff was when I called them. I simply took their name from the phone book without knowing anything about them other than that they have been in business in Plainfield, Illinois for quite some time. The ladies that answered the phone were very pleasant, something I rarely see with contractors. The service tech they sent to recharge my AC unit showed me every step of what he was doing. I know a bit about AC and he did everything correctly with his gauges. I had no gas left in my system at all. I knew i had a leak and have been nursing the unit along for some time. In addition, my furnace was developing a crack in the heat exchanger so I knew it was time to open the wallet. The service tech told me that my cost for the day would be deducted from my cost of the furnace and he was correct. I had looked into the claims on radio from a dealer that offered you an AC unit for $1 if you purchase a furnace from them. It's a hard core upsell from what I've read. The sales rep from Johansen and Andersen didn't play any of those games, matched my unit to my needs exactly and arranged for a quick install. He was very professional. He also showed up to check on the crew on the day of install to see if we had any questions. I thought that was very professional. The installation crew was quick and very skilled. They knew exactly what to do and worked quickly and quietly. Which was good because I work nights and had to go to bed while my wife stayed with the crew. They left the place clean and answered all of my questions and those of my wife. We couldn't have been happier. I work with contractors all day so I can spot a con job or short cuts pretty quickly. I saw no nonsense or games here. I would recommend Johansen and Anderson for routine HVAC care as well as installation of new units to any of my neighbors. Their pricing is fair and they offer good equipment

Furnace went out late evening on one of the coldest nights of the winter. Arrived within three hours of call. Replaced part to get it working for night which required several hours of work. Old furnace with history of problems so applied portion of service call cost to new furnace installed following week. Knowledgeable technicians. Helpful and friendly sales person who even stopped back to see how the install was going. Overall friendly, knowledgable and professional.

Top of the line product to cool my entire upstairs. Any parts or service in the future no charge. York Air-Conditioning. Outside and Attic Units for all 3 1/2 bedrooms and Bath upstairs.

They got the job done and I would give them A's. They did exactly what they said they were going to do. The men came in and they looked to me like they knew what they were doing and they were very efficient. I've had no problems with the heating and air conditioning systems since they put them in.

Everything works out fine. Did the replacement in one day. Provided a complete estimate prior to scheduling the replacement. Applied credit for a visit just prior to repair the old furnace/AC. Very response to emergency repairs. Very innovative on how they get a repair person to your home as soon as possible, including bringing our off-duty repair staff (who lived only two miles away) to do the repair instead of waiting for someone on duty who was must further away.

They were very responsive and within my house in a few hours for A/C service. People answering phone on dispatch very professional. Made 2 trips to correct issue and A/C working perfect again. Will definitely use again. Found out my company uses them as well and are performing a large 2 HVAC installation for us which I have no doubt will go perfectly. Thank you.

They knew what they were doing. They did their job. They were here for 2 days and did not interfere with my daily activities. They were respectful of my pets. They were going in and out of the house so they asked if the pets were secured. They were very considerate. They did a very clean professional looking job.

They were friendly and polite on the phone. They were able to send someone out the same day. However, one of the reasons that I chose to call them was because they had a coupon available on Angie's List for $20 off a service call. They refused to honor the coupon. I was told that it would only be honored if we actually had the repair done. So technically , the coupon is $20 off a repair, not a service call. They did offer to take $20 off the price of installing a new air conditioner unit. The air conditioner was not repaired. Instead, I was encouraged to consider purchasing a new one.The next day I had a technician from another company come out for a second opinion. The second technician from the other company diagnosed the problem quickly, refilled it with freon, and charged me less than half of what the Johansen and Anderson technician estimated. He said our air conditioner appeared to be in good shape and was, in his opinion, worth repairing. It is now working well.

I had experience with Johannson and Anderson over the years in their annual maintenance and inspection of the old furnace (Janitrol). The furnace was approaching 19 years old and required another repair. Rather than dump another 530 dollars into an old furnace I decided to replace both the furnace and AC with a high efficiency unit. I expected the cost to be somewhere in the 8-9000 range. The salesman arrived and we discussed my options. Surprising to me, the salesman recommended I replace the furnace with an 80% rather than a 95% efficiency rated furnace. My house is 1200 sq ft with basement. His reasoning was that with nearly double the cost it just wasn't worth the money I would put up front to save a little in natural gas. From a money standpoint, it made sense to me. So instead of the high efficiency furnace and AC ($10,000), I installed a 2 stage burner with a variable speed blower. The cost with the entire unit and installation was around $5,600. With the decision made as what to install, we set a date for installation that was several weeks out. I received a call the day before installation reminding me that the installers would be there at 8am. The 2 installers and the salesman arrived promptly at 8 am and immediately began work. The salesman reviewed with the installers what work was to be done and then he left. It took the installers until around 3 pm to finish the installation. The salesman returned before they were finished to check the quality of installation. The work area was left clean and in better shape then when they arrived. New ductwork was installed where necessary and a larger filter was installed. The quality of the installation can be viewed simply by looking at the workmanship and bends of the piping installation of the AC unit. The installers were very professional and considerate. I have had an opportunity to operate both the furnace and AC this spring and can report that I am 100% satisfied with the installation. I would highly recommend Johannson and Anderson.

They did a great job. My upstairs always has a hard time with air conditioning in the summer. Johanson and I spent quite a bit of time determining how to improve the upstairs air circulation. What we came up with worked well - they even came back and made a few more modifications. They installed a larger furnace and A/C for the house and it has been been working well. They also took care of making sue I received all possible state and federal energy improvement tax rebates.

I had a new Carrier condenser unit and air handler installed by another company in the summer of 2010. I hired yet another company to fix the issues that came up in 2011; My compressor in this brand new unit failed due to faulty installation. There were electrical issues, too, which needed to be corrected for the sake of my family's safety. So I spent another $2000 with this second company to fix all the issues. When I asked questions about why all this was happening to a new unit, I was treated like a problem customer. That's when I turned to Johansen and Anderson...Courteous, professional and caring are 3 words that come to mind immediately. I knew from the first time I talked to their service tech that I was in good hands. They have a 65 year history in this area, with a reputation for doing things right the first time. That's EXACTLY what I was looking for...I had been a two-time loser with HVAC companies, and I needed to find a provider I could trust, and someone who was looking out for me, not just interested in taking my money. I was so impressed with their service that I signed up for their Comfort Club. This is a preventive maintenance program. (I have a 15 year old boiler that needs attention occasionally, too.) I want to know that my investment is being protected. I want to maintain my equipment each season, in order to extend the life of the units. So if you are on the fence about hiring a HVAC company, these are the folks to call. You won't regret your decision to hire this fine company...you will never look back!!!!!

I've used them for 25 years at three different houses. Obviously since I've stuck with them I like them. They always did good work. They are on time and do work for a somewhat reasonable price. Heating and A/C isn't cheap but they do good work and do it on time.

They do a yearly maintenance and inspection on my furnace which usually takes 30 to 45 minutes. The furnace runs well after that. The gas forced air furnace is about 11-12 years old. In 2005, they recommended repairing rather than replacing. The problem was a circuit board that ended up costing approximately 400 to repair including labor. I have had no problems since the repair. When it is time to replace the furnace, I will definitely use them to install the new furnace.

Very good. I use them regularly. I've had no problems with them at all; they always get the job done. They'll call us to let us know when our furnace & A/C needs to be checked; I think that's very nice because we forget sometimes. Their trucks are all stocked with the parts so we don't have to wait for any parts. The price is for yearly checkup and includes insurance, furnace & A/C checkups.

I was very happy with the work they did. The workers were very courteous when they were there. They showed up on time to do the work. They cleaned up everything when they were done.
