After not showing up for the first appointment, Scott finally came to give us an estimate on building a shed in our backyard. We went over our wants and requirements from the HOA. He said we would give us a quote within one week. After several follow up calls on our part and his continued broken promise to give us an estimate and plans, work was never completed.
Description of Work: We wanted a shed in our backyard that had to comply with homeowner associations codes.

Scott oversaw concrete and electrical work as well as building the shed for me. The concrete guy, whom he got from the village approved list, was kind of a doofus, but once the concrete pad was complete, Scott was there the next morning before the forms were down. He and his helper worked quietly and when we woke they were well under way. The electrical, Excel Electric Technologies, that he hired, also from he village list, was wonderful. I was amazed at how well Scott and his helper worked together with great accord, unlike the concrete guy who yelled and swore at his workers constantly. This was a very good experience!
Description of Work: We had a shed built to use as a backyard office. It is 8 x 10 with 6'' framing, three windows, and a door with a window, built on a concrete foundation and electrified. Scott and his helper built the shed/office/ studio over three days, including framing, siding and roofing. They trimmed out the shed and installed the door and locks. It is a great addition to our home. I had a hard time finding anyone who would do a small job like ours, who is also approved by the village of Homewood. Scott gave clear bids, kept to his price, arrived before I woke up every morning and worked a good eight hours each day. They cleaned up each evening and left the yard in good shape when they were finished. I asked for 2x6's so it could be super insulated and we could use it all year long with minimal energy expenditure. Scott was very responsive and communicative.
