Robert was wonderful. Everything was smooth and he was so patient with me and the million questions I had. From quote to installation was within 30’days and it would have been quicker but there was an issue with the permit - to no fault of Ameridream.

I see why they have such a low rating on Google. I had them come out to do an estimate. He really didn't seem to have an interest in meeting my expectations. On one side where we wanted a fence installed, he kept insinuating that I contact my neighbor to get permission to take down their fence that ISNT on my property line to build a new one. Like I can't make someone tear their fence down that I don't own. I had another section where I needed to put up a fence. The guy didn't even attempt to assist me in figuring out a solution to try to securely put up a fence before saying "Its a mess back here... Im not going to touch this...yea I'll pass on this job." The issue that was created wasn't even our fault and we can't control how other folks have built their fences on their property. Nonetheless, he didn't even take the time to at least try which I would have appreciated. The guy was so rude I didn't even bother to have him look at the deck which I had requested an estimate for since we budgeted to have that completed as well. Based on the other reviews I may have dodged a bullet and wouldn't give them business for any project that I need to be completed. Whoever is reading this you should probably pass on them because if their work measures up to their professionalism they will probably do a shoddy job anyway.

The estimator called and hung because of another incoming call. I called back and talked with him. He never showed up for estimate. There has been NO follow up from them. If they cant make the first appointment I can only imagine how install would have went. Poor Customer service!

Great! The crew did a beautiful job! The fence looks amazing and it was done in one day!

Excellent. The fence is beautiful and my neighbors are talking about my fence. They were punctual, gave me a date of coming out and they came early in the morning. They removed the old fence and replaced a new one, and clean the nails. This is the second time I used them.

The company does not answer the phone, reply to emails or phone calls. I initiated contact with them around July 18, 2020. They sent out someone fairly quickly to provide an estimate and this is where all of the delays and lack of response started. I had to chase them down for a quote. After I got the quote I had to chase them down to determine next steps. Every time I would finally get a hold of them it would be like starting the entire process over again. I primarily worked with Darrel who would often tell me he was in his car but would call me back when he got to his office. Weeks would go by without a return call. His voice mail was often no longer taking messages. When you try to call the office the calls are all being forwarded to voice mail. Even if you leave one no one ever responds. I would send emails to the original email that contacted me and no one would ever respond, even by email. My only saving grace is that I never got to a point of putting down any kind of a deposit. Thankfully.

The fence looks great. All work done is good quality, the problem is I need one of the gates adjusted so our dogs can’t get out and it’s been 6 weeks of trying. I can’t get anyone to even call me back. If you use these guys make sure all work is done to your satisfaction before you pay them.

It was easy to call and schedule an appointment. The estimator arrived on time and was very nice. My rating is due to my impression of the company after being ghosting without providing an estimate, or even just telling me they were not interested in the job. The estimator said he would give me the estimate by EOD. I am writing this review over a week later. Yes, I know, the job is relatively small. I also understand that some jobs are not worth the effort for businesses at a certain scale. I understand. But, if you're honest and just say that the job is not something you're interested in. That's fair. I can take that, no problem. I would have recommend this company to anyone just for their honesty. However, that will not be the case.

A fee hick ups. Initially installed the wrong picket size. Took a fee weeks to re-order correct material. Fence (with the correct pickets) looks wonderful. In the end it looks great. Price was very competitive.

Excellent. They showed up on time and had the job complete in 5 1/2 hours (185 feet of fence)! I would definitely hire them again.

Ameridream fence turned out to be a terrible choice for replacing a fence between our neighbor's property. I only wish more research would have been put in to Ameridream before we agreed to the project. The price was right for them but at what cost? The installation is sub par at best and many of the boards need to be replaced. Our gate is so poorly constructed that Ameridream is taking it down and we are receiving a refund so we can install our own gate. I contacted the office and was hung up on by the office manager Anna, stating that I am not her client because the contract is in our neighbors name. Although we are responsible for 100% of our property line and 50% responsible for the fence between properties. Now we are being told that the refund will be $200.00 instead of the $300.00 we paid for the gate, how does that happen? I have not heard back for the owner Alex Diaz, I emailed him last week and our salesman John has been less than helpful. John was called out to our home the day after the install and even admitted that the crew made many mistakes. A new crew will be out to make the necessary repairs and replacements today, we hope to be done with Ameridream and get our FULL refund for the gate. Unless you are interested in a poorly constructed fence and want to be treated like a second class citizen, I would not hire Ameridream fence.

There were delays, but not a the part of Ameridream. It was due to Cook County and the fence permit taking longer that expected. The crew arrived on time on the day of the installation. They cleaned up after the day was completed. Some additional work was needed and I was told that they would be back the next day. They did not show up and through calls to the office I was told that the crew would be back the next day on Saturday to finish which they did. I really like the self-closing gates, too.

We received a quote and agreed to have the fence installed on May 3rd. When they showed up they marked the posts and I headed to work. I received a call that the fence they were putting up was not the right one. She was right and they needed to reschedule for May 5. The fence was installed and the next day when I went to pick up dirt and debris, I noticed a bunch of nails in the yard. We got the fence for our dog so I was happy I discovered them and not her. I emailed our Sales rep and received no reply. A few days later it rained and we lost power to our detached garage and part of our house. I called the office and they said they would return my call by 6pm - they didn't. I called our Sales rep the next day - I first asked if he got my text message which he confirmed he did. He said I didn't know what you wanted me to do about it. I then told him about the electricity and he told me I could call the office. After sending a note to the President via Angie's List, I received a call from someone who was going to help me. In the end, they did nothing and I incurred $2K in electrical fees even though I asked them before they installed the fence how they knew they wouldn't hit any wires. They said JULIE comes out and marks the lines - they didn't express any concern about lines run to my detached garage. Even better the company thinks it gave me a $600 credit for "the inconvenience of the wrong fence and the nails" however I paid exactly what I was quoted yet incurred an additional $2K in electrical issues. When I sent them a picture of my cashed check they said they would look into it. It's been over a week with no response - if you are making a decision on going with a company I would look for another provider!

Terrible. They have never responded to my calls after I already paid for the service.

It has been three weeks but we have yet to hear from the company. My wife did receive several missed calls from the same area code as the company but no messages. Nor have we received any emails, etc. We already had our doubts about paying for a quote but the drawings and plans sounded like a great way to know more about our options. Ultimately, it was a waste of $29.00.

All went great. Price was cheaper than all other quotes we received. It was installed within a week of our first call. Installation took less than a day and the whole staff was courteous and helpful. Very satisfied and highly reccomended

They worked with me on what I felt was a reasonable price. They were punctual and professional. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

This is thee worst company to do business with. We just wanted a fence and dog run installed. The salesman, Bert, is excellent to work with; however, the office staff is THEE WORST!! They know absolutely nothing in or outside of that office. The office manager, Ana Diaz, does not return calls, does not follow-up w/clients for resolution, with an unprofessional behavior to say the least! "Flags" posted in yard to identify underground pipes and yet the workers still managed to hit one or more of the pipes causing damage and a halt to the project. ComEd called out to fix pipes and still Ameridream Fence is a no-show to complete the work - it's June 15, 2016, already and they've been informed! ComEd even stated that the standing water in the opened posts that have been placed in the ground is not good! All materials were left unattended, exposed to the elements and damaged by constant rain, and yet, we're still waiting for resolution since April 2016! A return call or visit to the property would probably suffice but, Ana-the-manager refuses to make contact. They've even turned off the fax machine to avoid further contact. At this point, they can come and get all of their materials, oh and, plug the huge hole covered by a big black garbage bag in the yard! One of the ComEd workers almost fell into it while assessing the damaged pipes! Smh...
