All Trade Construction Inc

The crew from All Trades that replaced my roof tiled over my dryer vent and left my DirecTV cable hanging off my roof. Shortly after they covered the vent my previously working dryer stopped working. I contacted my management company who forwarded my complaint to All Trades. When I didn't receive any response from All Trades after a week I sent another email stating that if someone wasn't out to evaluate the problem in two days I would look for alternative solutions to solving the problem. The owner Denise called me later that day and said she'd have someone out the next day and a crew did show as promised. They fixed the vent right then and there. The head of the crew didn't know which of their crews screwed up but he said it was his responsibility to fix it. He said I shouldn't have had a problem with my dryer until I told him it was a gas dryer and then it was a different story. I called Denise to let her know her crew had come and gone and to reasonably talk about how she was going to remedy the fact that my dryer died and that I had to go to the laundromat until I could afford a new dryer. My elderly disabled father lives with me and dragging him to the laundromat with me has been a huge inconvenience caused through no fault of my own. When I said that to Denise she said it wasn't her fault either (uh didn't her crew tile over my vent?). I know she's trying to protect her company and worm her way out of having to bear any financial responsibility for the mistake HER CREW made, but wow what a quick about face. Her previously pleasant demeanor went right out the window and she became a very mean, unprofessional, rude woman. She wouldn't even let me speak. As soon as she knew what I wanted she started talking over me, screaming at me and giving me examples of why gas dryers don't have to vent outside even through the installation directions say they do. I cannot stress how unprofessional Denise was in our second phone conversation. I never called her names and tried to reason with her and only raised my voice after she did first. If this is how she handles complaints then I can't believe she's still in business. I've worked for family owned businesses before and this is not how decent people do business. If you're looking for roofers do yourself a favor and don't hire All Trades.
