Get Wired Now has expanded its automation technology into boat and RV’s. With the new company Onboard Automation. We have always challenged ourselves by offering technology needs for today and for the demands of tomorrow, by holding ourselves to the highest possible standards and delivering the highest quality installation and service guaranteed. Get Wired Now was established in 1997 as Creative Communication. As technology changed so did our name, but our foundation, ideals, principles and commitment to the ever changing technology have not. We specialize in designing and delivering custom mid-range to high-end packages, and we are eager to serve you. Today’s technologies allow us to integrate different systems together and make them work simultaneously, which can include CCTV, Intrusion Detection, Access Control, Computer, Audio and others. The advantage of integrating this system is substantially beneficial; however it should be done carefully, so as not to over-sell the concept of the integration. In general, our main goal is to design a system that will meet our client’s criteria, needs and budget. Our mission is to design an integrated, exciting solution to fit the lifestyle of your family.

Perfect...absolutely perfect.

Exceeded our expectations! On time, very personable, answered all tecnical questions in a manner we could understand and cleaned up after each task. Wiring had to be fished through the walls of a 2 story home with the wiring terminating in the basement and the job went as planned , on time and on budget. Once the equipment was mounted the sytem was turned own, the remote programed and we were shown how to operate the equipment. We would definately rehire this team.
Description of Work: Wired a 26 year old 2 story home for cable and mounted a 65" television with a Sonos sound bar on the wall.

Description of Work: John responded promptly to my inquiry and scheduled a visit to consult on my A/V system. He provided a creative solution to a near term need, as well as a detailed quote for a system upgrade. I was highly impressed with how professional, prompt and courteous John and his team was, as well as their ability to quickly diagnose and fix and issue in a complex system. Description of Work: They were unable to fix my particular problem. Not their fault. I had a very old blue tooth remote and hard as they tried to get Logitech to co-operate, Logitech was non cooperative. I would definitely recommend Get Wired Now who went the extra mile trying to help me with my problem.....would be reluctant to buy from Logitech again.

Outstanding Team... John the owner did all the planning and estimates on phone/email. He told me what I would need to buy (or he could provide) and what to expect. Sean and Jimmy came over on time and were very helpful and did an outstanding job. They also walked me through how to use each mount and how to care for everything. Everything looked great....they even programmed my TV remote. I will be using them again for wireless and security system for my house because I was so impressed with their work. Thanks for the nice work!!
Description of Work: hung two 65" TV's (one on an articulating arm) concealed all wires and added electrical outlets with built in surge.

I spoke to the owner of the company, John ( if memory serves me correctly) , who assisted in determining what type of central vacuum would best suit our needs. An installation date was set and a technician was sent to install the unit. The technician was pleasant, professional and seemed to be very informed on the unit he was installing. We are very pleased with the service and would most definitely recommend / use them again.

The technician cleared up 80% of our issues with the central vac on the first visit and returned when we had problems with only one of the outlets several weeks later. Both times, GWN came very soon after our call. The second time, two staff came, one spending about two hours here. We were not charged for the follow-up visit. Excellent communication and services throughout the process. We will definitely call them when we are ready to install new features of our sound system.
Description of Work: Came out on July 8 and 28 to service a central vac clog/disconnection and advise us on a home sound system. We purchased a home as is and needed help asap.

This was a great experience. Sean and John were very professional. I called after hours, and they promptly called me back the next day. I talked to John to schedule the work, and he was very accommodating. Sean arrived promptly at the beginning of the two hour start window and got directly to work. He was very friendly and approachable. He made excellent suggestions about speaker placement. He set up the components and made sure everything was operating properly. At the end, both my wife and I appreciated his ability to highlight the important items of the set-up and everyday use without getting too technical. He explained functions in plain terms that made sense. He made sure that I understood the functions before he left. I also appreciated some future ideas that Sean provided regarding what we could do with the new receiver because it has a functional second zone (which I did not realize.) When we are ready to do future upgrades, we will definitely be contacting Get Wired Now to perform the service.
Description of Work: Above fireplace TV installation with concealed wires. Install customer TV bracket; mount and secure flat panel TV; connect components (DVD player, cable box, receiver); conceal A/V cable in-wall; ensure all cable exit points are finished off with specialized wall plate; ensure all equipment works properly, clean-up and inspect; customer demonstration. Also, move surround speaker and set-up receiver.

I purchased a big deal from Angie's List and their services went just fine. He showed up when he said he would. It was a good price. He took care of the problems I had. I paid an extra $40 for a cord that I needed. He was quick.

I had an email message from John within an hour of when I purchased the deal. We spoke the next day as I was purchasing some components from Best Buy. He was very knowledgeable and even saved me $75 buy purchasing HD cables from him vs Best Buy. We set up an appt for later that same week. One of Johns employees showed up 8ish Thursday AM and proceeded to get everything ready. John came later and helped finish the job. They were very helpful and answered all questions I had relating to set up, cable remotes, etc...By 11:30 they were done. A job well done! I would recommend them for any job that needs wiring, TV set ups, in home movie stereo systems.
Description of Work: Installed/mounted Big screen LCD TV (60) as well as components including Bose Sound bar, high def cable box and Blue Ray player.

A BASIC BREAKDOWN OF THE COMPANYS ABILITY AND SKILLS ARE AS FOLLOWS: Professional customer oriented to provide the Best Competive and Cost Effective opportortunites to meet customer requirements. Offers options to meet (REVISED) customer budget goals based on equipment (WISH LIST) and offers alternative options to lower costs. Very Good and Flexible negotiation skills for (on site installation changes by customer) and provides timely and reasonable solutions for alternatives. Once we made the request (on a Sunday), John got back to us on Tuesday. Before providing an estimate, he asked numerous questions about the job (such as do we need new, longer cables). Once he got the information, he first provide an estimate over the phone and then followed it up in writing via email. Once hired, he came in the same week to do the work. He was prompt, courteous and friendly. He did an excellent job and cleaned up afterwards. While doing the job, he asked us questions and answered the questions we had. He also provided his opinion on matters where useful. We are quite pleased with the work and would hire him again.
Description of Work: TV wall mount, added electrical outlet behind TV and ran cables from TV to various A/V equipment through the wall.
