Description of Work: Chris was very responsive to our needs. Lorton replaced the roof on Hope Lutheran Church in Jerseyville and it looks great. He completed the work exactly how the estimate was laid out per the insurance claim and did it very quickly. He matched their price and even threw in some wood that needed to be replaced. The billing and office was great. I'm looking to do a remodel on my home and I am calling Lorton Construction for an estimate!

+ 0 moreWe were having trouble getting another contractor out to do the job for us. After 6 weeks of waiting we contacted another contractor that continued to miss coming out to give an estimate over 5 days. We decided to give Lorton a call and they were out and working the next day by 6am and had the project finished by 2pm. Very good work, fast service, very professional.
Description of Work: Replaced damaged roof sections, fascia, 1/2 garage roof shingles, and one wall of siding.

+ -1 moreLorton's employees were on time and did a great job on our roof. The only down side I saw was the fact that they didn't run the magnet around the garage as they were supposed to a second time. I ended up with a flat tired from the roofing nails in the gravel outside my garage door. I also picked up over a dozen of them off the patio right next to the garage.
Description of Work: Replaced garage roof after storm/weather damage.

Description of Work: Received an estimate from Chris Lorton Construction to replace roof and siding on our home due to spring hail storm on May 5, 2012. After collecting several estimates and conferring with our insurance company, I contacted Chris Lorton in November 2012 to schedule work. I told him I was aware that it was getting late in the construction season and that we may have to wait until Spring 2013. He told me that he would "be in touch". Have heard nothing from him since. Moving on to someone else who seems to need the work.
