Sal, Frank and the team are always quick to respond to additional requests like tree trimming, gutter cleaning and doing a complete redesign in the backyard. I can count on them every week to do a great job and will continue to use them.

I called in July and Salvatore came out two days later to meet with me. Last year we had a privacy fence installed and it left my neighbor's yard a little sloppy (uneven, dirt exposed) along the property line. I wanted to add a narrow mulch border and lay down sod for him. I also wanted them to build a small retaining wall near the sewer in the back of my yard as my yard is higher than my neighbor's and the ground was deteriorating. About three weeks later he came back and gave me the quote ($600). I told him we'd like him to do the work and a week later they came out and did it. It was a half-day job. Everything looked good but then I realized that the plastic drainage pipe in my yard had been blocked off on the other side by a brick. It needed to flow through to get to the sewer. I called him right away to tell him of the error. He said they'd be out to fix it the following week. It didn't happen. I'd touch base with him, on and off, and a couple of months later they came out and fixed the problem. I like working with Genualdi. Sal is a very nice man. In this particular job we just had an issue getting the one, small problem fixed as quickly as I would have liked.

They have always been very flexible. If we needed something to be done they have always been very flexible as far as what we needed done and when we needed it done. They would come if we had any family parties or anything going on to make the lawn look nice and presentable. They are a family-run company and they know their customers by name. I often run into them in the community. They are just nice people.

We use them weekly, and that was the first time we used them. There was really nothing that they could do better. They do a great job. They are easy to communicate with. They are on time. They did a great edge work around our flowerbeds, and cleaned that area. Overall, they did a much better job than the service we had for previous 7 years. We are really with them.

I got two other bids - both were higher, one much higher. We've used Genualdi for a small job of this type five years ago in the back yard so we already knew of the lasting, quality work they do. Long story short, we are very pleased with the outcome - the front of the house looks GREAT, the work was done quickly (2 days), the workers all were courteous and accommodating. Existing plants were removed as needed and were tastefully replanted (and all survived). BOTTOM LINE: The front of the house looks better than we expected, the rain water from the roof is now directed well away from the house, and the work was completed on time, at a reasonable cost. The next job will be the back yard - as soon as we decide exactly what we want! This is a family run business - the father does this type of work and the son runs the lawn care portion of the business. We have used Genualdi Landscaping for lawn care for the past five years.
