Excellent provider! Called and left message asking for an appointment and heard back shortly thereafter. Technician, Matt, scheduled an appointment for the next day. He arrived on time and fixed our problem in minutes. He also looked at a nonfunctioning trash compactor and showed us an "on" button that had inadvertently been turned off. Reasonable charges. Will definitely use Local Home Appliance again.

I didn't actually use Local Home Appliance for a repair as he was unavailable due to the holidays. However, he called me back and provided me with a couple of recommendations for other appliance repair providers, which I thought was commendable!

Called Local Home Appliance and left a message describing the issue. Matt called back within 5 minutes, we discussed possible issues with the washer, and I asked him to come take a look at it (understanding that due to the washer's age it may not be worth repairing). Matt happened to be in the area and was here in 20 minutes. He quickly diagnosed the problem as a broken coupler, replaced it, and the washer is working great. This is the second time we have used Local Home Appliance (previously on our dryer) and we could not be more pleased with the professionalism and friendly service on both occasions. I wish Angies had a possible rating of A+ for Local Home Appliance!

Sunday evening requested quotes from 4 companies on Angie's List. Local Home Appliance was the first to answer that same day. Said he could come out the next day Monday but I had an appointment to go to so scheduled for Tuesday morning. Said he would be at my house between 9-12, he arrived at 9:15. Luckily it was a minor repair, rod jumped out of its mount. He was able to easily fix. Very friendly serviceman, answered all of my questions. He even agreed with me when I jokingly blamed my wife for breaking the washer. Will gladly use them again.

Unfortunately he wasn't able to fix the dryer, it had blown its control panel, but he gave it a good go and was very knowledgable and professional.

Our dryer was heating but not drying. Matt explained the problem and fixed it quickly. He scheduled the repair quickly and arrived on time. We would definitely use him again.

Matt was great! Very prompt arriving for the appointment and was completely honest about what my issue was.

Matt was prompt, friendly and knowledgeable about my GE dryer. Luckily, Matt was able to use one of my other existing dryer knobs to replace the stripped dryer knob that was no longer working. Very quick fix and didn't have to pay for any parts.

Contacted Local Home Appliance on a Sunday. Matt responded Monday morning and was out the same day to look at the ice maker. Matt figured out the problem in less than 5 minutes. He made a trip back to the office to get the replacement part. There was no charge for the additional travel time. Upon his return an hour later, he had the ice maker fixed in 10 minutes. Ice maker is still working two weeks later. Very appreciative of Matt's responsiveness and professionalism.

They came out and replaced something in my dryer. They are very responsive. You can not get a better company to come out and look at your appliances. It was $165 but I got a discount because I am on Angie's List. THey were very nice and cordial.

Matt diagnosed the problem over the phone and notified me that the part needed was expensive. After discussing the situation with him, I told him to order the part and schedule the installation. Within a day, the part had arrived and the following day he was at my home fixing the issue. Very professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. My friends and family love having the issue resolved. In two minutes, Matt had the ice maker unstuck and showed me how to work it. No repair was needed and the cost was minimal.

I called Matt about making a repair to our dryer. An appointment was scheduled and he called to let me know he was on his way. I was extremely pleased with the service I received from Matt. He was prompt, courteous, pleasant to talk to and explained exactly what the problem was and what he was going to do to fix it. The price was extremely reasonable. I have never used this company before, but will certainly do so again when the need arises.

Returned phone call promptly to schedule date for repair, came on time, quickly assessed the problem, told me how much it would cost to repair and completed the repair within thirty minutes. He was knowledgeable and friendly. It was a very good experience. Dryer is working like new. I will call him again for any future repair needs.

I didn't know who to call when my refrigerator started to leak. I checked on-line at ANGIES LIST and found that my membership had expired so I signed up again and went to the appliance section where I found several possibilities of a repair service but chose this one because it was located in my area.......only 10 minutes away. I will certainly recommend Local Home Appliance to anyone that needs a good repair service.

I called Local Home Appliance to request service. I left a message on answering machine and within 2 hours Matt called me back. He was heading back to the office and my house was close to his return route. He stopped at my house, diagnosed the problem and fixed it within 20 minutes. The dryer had a bad gas igniter which he replaced. He also replaced the solenoids at my request as a preventative maintenance tactic. The clothes dryer now generates heat to dry the clothes.

The customer service provided by Local Home Appliance is outstanding! When I called, I spoke with Matt and he was able to scheduled my appointment immediately. He arrived on time was very professional and courteous. He diagnosed the issues and took the time to explain them to us, he completed the repair of our dryer. Highly recommended.

Our seven year old Samsung washer started making a lot of knocking noise during the spin cycle. It sounded like it the drum was imbalanced, but it didn't used to make this noise before. I called Local Home Appliance and the fellow, presumably Matt, who answered the phone asked about the washer's history and the symptoms. Based on what I described, he felt that it was most likely that I needed a new washer, as there was probably an issue with the drum itself. Matt went on to recommend buying an American brand for our next purchase, as they're easier to repair and have better longevity. Matt gave me an honest assessment, even if it meant that he could potentially miss out on charging for a house visit. Such honest is hard to find, but it's surely appreciated. I feel like I can trust Matt. I got off the phone and started writing this review. I then realized that our dryer was squeaking too and I had forgotten to ask Matt about that. I called Matt right back to ask whether it was something repairable. He said it was and I was glad to hear that he was available relatively soon to come take a look. Based on our interaction thus far, I'm thoroughly impressed. Keep up it up, Matt!!

I smelled a horrible burning smell after my clothes dryer finished a drying cycle. I left a message for Local Hope Appliance Repair and Matt called me back the next day. He was able to come to my home two days later. Matt was very knowledgeable about the workings of the dryer (also answered questions I had about my washer, too). After a thorough inspection he found the cause of the burning smell was due to some lint that had ignited during the cycle, but put itself out. (This lint was not in the lint trap but inside the dryer itself.) So the lint was no longer burning, just the burning smell remained. He vacuumed out all of the lint that had found its way inside various parts of the dryer, some burnt, some not. He told me the burning smell would be present for a few more cycles and gave me some tips on how to speed up the process of removing the smell. All in all I was very pleased with the service I received from Matt. I appreciate how quickly he was able to come out to look at my dryer (especially given all of the laundry piling up!) Additionally he was great about answering my (many) questions about the dryer and my washer as well. He put my mind at ease so I felt safe to use my dryer again. Should I have any future issues with my washer/dryer, I will definitely call Matt again.

After calling a handful of other providers, Matt was the only one willing to even come out and take a look at a wine refrigerator that stopped cooling. Matt found the problem immediately and explained the issue with the cooling mechanism that was broken. It turned out that the refrigerator wasn't manufactured anymore and parts would be hard to come by. Matt could've gone the route of recommending we buy a new refrigerator and moving on, but instead he said he was going to call a supplier to see if they had the parts. He contacted me within a week and said he was able to find the parts, and we scheduled the service. For both appointments he was on time, friendly, and professional. The entire experience was refreshing, and that he saved us over $1000 from not having to buy a new refrigerator was awesome. I'd definitely use Matt again for any appliance repair.

Matt was very responsive online in responding to my request for service and setting up a quick appointment. We had multiple exchanges so I felt comfortable and he was prepared. He showed up on time. Great personality and work ethic. Service done quickly and completely. Warranteed for a year. I'd use him again for sure.
