Installation was efficient and careful, as well as a good value. Salinas Landscaping uses high quality fixtures. We chose 2 types in antique brass, a flood to light trees and a shaded path light. We wanted the path-lighting posts buried deeper than typical for stability and subtlety, which Roberto and his crew accommodated. They also managed to deinstall some old lighting without breaking the circuit. We appreciated getting the work done in time for Thanksgiving, as well as Roberto’s willingness to come back in March and replace a flood with LED lights that had gone dim. Salinas Landscaping backs its work! They even took an extra few minutes to adjust the light timer for daylight saving time.

simply put..do not use.. requested prior day notice..not done. destroyed 2 plants at latest count. owner rude and condescending… rudely dismissed concerns and demanded immediate payment instead of legal 30 day billing cycle. way OVERPRICED for services rendered!!!!! thought he had my business for new sod....never again... DO NOT USE!!!!!!!!!

I debated for a week or so whether to write this review since I did not actually have work done but decided because it is a customer service problem I should. That it should be noted somehow and this was the only way to do it. So, I contacted this business via Angi's list seeking tree planting services and got absolutely no response. I find this unacceptable and very very poor customer service. I even contacted Angi's customer service to see if there was something wrong with their email system. I believe they deserve no stars for poor, poor, customer service.

We had other landscapers but none compared to Salinas. They are efficient and conscientious, always pleasant to everyone, tactful and intelligent. Roberto Salinas is original, imaginative, full of ideas, clever and forward thinking.His landscaping ideas are sound and practical and outstandingly successful. Our garden (more like a mini-park) is BEAUTIFUL as well as the rest of our surrounding property.Perhaps the one quality to commend Roberto most is his unfailing enthusiasm for the job at hand - an enthusiasm that naturally transmits itself to those who work with him. We recommend Salinas Landscaping without reservation. We know you will find them most helpful and responsible and producing the most beautiful landscapes possible.

Roberto described what he was going to do, and made some suggestions that I hadn't thought of. His quote spelled out what the work was that was going to be done, and the price was reasonable. Roberto and his crew not only did exactly the work that was quoted in a fast and professional manner, they also EXCEEDED my expectations. No shortcuts!. I feel I received Full Value for the work and HIGHLY recommend Roberto and his company for any landscaping work you need done.

It didn't. I put in my request for a quote through Angie's list about two weeks ago. The owner called a little while later. I told him I usually cut my own grass, but I'm having trouble with my left shoulder (possible surgery and definite physical therapy this summer). I asked him to cut my lawn for the rest of the season. He said "we have a plan" and that's the last time I heard from him. He doesn't return phone calls. I just got done cutting my lawn in the rain. Regardless of rain or shoulder pain, the grass was too high to ignore. It's too bad Angie's list doesn't allow grades lower than F.

It went extremely well. All the shrubs were removed and replaced within about 4 hours. I had assumed it would be a 2 day job or at least all day. We were very pleased with the completion time. Roberto contacted us immediately and scheduled an appointment. He gave great suggestions, things we would have never thought of. We love the natural stone that he added instead of the standard paver blocks that you see everywhere. It's very unique. He suggested bushes for privacy and an assortment of flowers for color, all of which we're happy with. They were very prompt and cleaned up afterwards. We'll definitely contact them for our next landscaping project.

Salinas Landscaping did an excellent job and we could not be more satisfied. We had just completed new construction and needed grading, drainage work, hardscaping (new walk and front entrance) along with other miscellaneous landscaping/hardscaping activities. Salinas Landscaping provided an initial quote and completed a significant amount of work for the agreed upon price and on time. They were very responsive to the initial inquiry and were able to start the projects based on our very tight deadline. Salinas were flexible in working with our ideas but offered a number of creative solutions that we had not considered for both materials selection and design. Although not part of the scope, through the course of the project Salinas offered a number of really good, creative ideas. We are extremely satisfied with the completed work and plan to have Salinas back for additional work on our large property. We highly recommend Salinas for both landscaping, hardscaping and design work.

Robert has done a lot of work at my home from basic handyman maintenance to major yard improvement projects. He always does outstanding work. Very high quality. Robert always follows up to ensure that all my expectations are met. Excellent knowledge of landscape plants and trees and also building materials. Always respectful of my property. I have them currently on the calendar to come out and do some additional landscaping. I strongly recommend Robert is a very knowledgeable professional who does quality work at a reasonable price.

Salina's Landscaping has done an amazing job with both designing and implementing our brick patio, porch stoop and walkways. They also designed a beautiful area where I had troubles with drainage and a large slope on the side of my house. They built multi-levels of trees, grasses and perennials, as well as large, gorgeous stepping stones that led to more path walkways to our patio. They built a beautiful area around a large tree for my bird area with rectangular stones and covered with beautiful sunset colored rocks to fill in the area. We also use them for weekly lawn, tree and upkeep of our yard on a weekly basis. I would highly recommend them. The cost is reasonable, they are reliable and creative. They helped me design an attractive area encompassing our mailbox with matching stones to the area in front of our house. In addition to that in the front yard, they built a burn with a beautiful evergreen, perennials, with different levels to give a multi level look. They came out during the last snow storm. They did a great job and we are very happy with them. They get the driveway to my business cleared by a certain time and they have stayed with that commitment. They go above and beyond with some hand shoveling. The price is per plow. I will continue to use them.

Quick to respond to set up appt for lawn mowing, but then did not show up! When I called to find out why, he apologized and rescheduled for the next week. No showed AGAIN!! By this time my grass was twice as long as it was when I initially called and I ended up paying another service $100.00 to mow my yard! Very disappointed in R Salinas' lack of good business practices...

They did all the work in one day and I was completely satisfied with the placement of mulch and the detaching of the yard and cleaning up all the waste material.

I called for a quote on weekly yard service for my new home. They never returned the call. Must not be interested in new business.

We've been using them for a long time and they've been excellent. We found them through the yellow pages. Everybody recommends them. They're very reasonable, they clean everything up and they are very meticulous with everything they do. We pay them $35 a week to cut our grass and edge and everything.

He is very articulate and polite. He is well organized. They are here when they say they are going to be. They get the job done nicely. They are very pleasant and hardworking. He was here to plow during a recent snow storm, and one of my neighbors up in the street got stuck in her driveway. He went up and helped her get out even though she was not a regular customer. So, he is just very easy to work with.

Excellent. We moved to Illinois in 2004 and started with Salinas a couple of years later when we could no longer keep up with all that foes with lawn care. He has been super and done everything we asked.

I have been using him for years and I think he is very good. I have a tree with really long thorns and it is amazing how he trims it; he does a beautiful job. I had a bird building a next in the side of the building and he helped me by putting mesh up so she won't come back.
