Not very well. We had 2 problems. One of the problems was with our toilet and it was not fixed. The sink was fixed okay. The replacement part for the toilet did not work. We was busy during the time so we was unable to call them back.

They quoted us a price on the phone and then showed up (a day late) and asked for a higher price before any work was even begun. When we questioned it, they gave us an attitude. Then they questioned the work done previously (by their company) and when I showed him receipt, they said their own guy didn't fill out the paperwork correctly. Unbelievable. There are plenty of plumbing services out there, DO NOT use this one - we never will again.

They have had severe organizational changes. They no longer have as many people as they use to, they no longer have as many trucks as they use to, and I had to wait 48 hours for them to show up. Greatly disappointed, because when I first used them, they were right there, right away, and they did the complete job. They were late. I stayed home to wait for them, and they were six hours late. I was a little disappointed. They routed the sewer. They did the work, they did the job, they didn't do it completely, as they did the last time they came. The last time they came, they put a camera down, this time no tv. As he explained it to me, he did not have the equipment in the truck. That added to my disappointment. They did not get there when they said they would. With plumbing problems, you need them right away.

Patrick, Matt and Dan came by and surveyed what we needed to get done. They were very personable and during the pre work inspection they gave me options to save money where possible on parts. They kept the work area clean, the job was a clean design and the water heater worked flawlessly. I would call them again in a heartbeat and recommend them to anyone.

It is working now but It took him 5 times to do it. The last technician was good. He was on time, cleaned up and explained everything and I didn’t have any problems with him. Some of the prior ones didn’t look like they knew what they were doing.

I was shocked at the price of $187.50 to unplug a toilet. It literally took the plumber less than 1 minute to accomplish the task. Another $125.00 was spent to secure an R/O faucet that had come loose. It was far more work, yet the price was reasonable. Go figure! The price of the Big Deal was subtracted from the price reflected below. I can't remember if it was $39.00 or $59.00.

Our sump pump failed on Saturday morning during a moderate rain storm. The plumber we have used in the past was unavailable, so I called Duane Blanton Plumbing based on past reviews on Angies List. Dan from Duane Blanton arrived within 90 minutes of us calling, and was able to promptly replace the pump. Overall experience was great, would not hesitate to call again for other work.

I couldn't say more about Ed and Patrick. From start to finish, they made the process easy for us. They were courteous and polite throughout and we're thrilled with the level of service and with our new Water Heater.

The toilet plubming cost $800. This was for about 2.5 feet of copper and two hours of work. The plumber needed a glass of water to prevent setting my house on fire, as he had begun to burn the lathing. Later contacted regarding a stopped sewer (my fault for contacting them).. Hard sell. I was pressured to accept an unreasonable price. My bother-in-law is a plumber, so I had an idea of a reasonable price. Negotiated down, to some extent. The tradesmen are excellent -- they do very good work. However, the company is poor, and vastly overcharge. They hard sell, pressure, and promise, what they cannot provide. I would recommend that anyone steer-clear of them. Unfortunately, the plumber's union have a pretty strong hold on this area. Expect to drop at least $1k on any job, no matter how small. Hopefully, after this review, my house will not be trashed -- in my experience, that is what I would expect from a company like Blanton and the union. I will never hire them again..

They came quickly. He was polite and thorough. I thought I had an ejector pump, he confirmed I had a sump pump which allowed me to utilize my home warranty. So while I did not use them, for this issue. I will in the future.

Service was great. Will certainly use again. Also received a 10% discount which was greatly appreciated. We own 3 properties and a good plumbing company is the hardest thing to find. Most don't return calls or spend half our time trying to upgrade what we want, or send someone that's useless. We will stay with this local company.

Upgraded existing sump pump and back up pump with battery that doesn't need water. Both pumps work when overwhelmed by storm and power outages for 10 hours. I was told it was the best you could do without going to a generator and we wanted peace of mind. I think we got it. Bid was done same day of contact and installed the following day.

They said that the equipment inside wasn't viable and it had to be redone. They didn't give me any information on what I would have afterwards. They left a huge pile of dirt in my front yard. They said it was up to me to buy a tool to attach to the hose and put into the dirt pile in several places for 20 minutes at a time, daily, to make it go back into the ground after several months. What bothered me was that they did not communicate well with me, and when I talked to the owner, he was being forceful and hostile about fixing the dirt pile problem. "He insisted that my extra work was what they recommended, but they would remove the dirt if that would make me happy. They did send someone out and they took some of it, but cautioned that too much taken away would make a hole. I would not recommend them to anybody!

Office was quick to answer and dispatch a plumber. Technician was on-time, knowledgeable and professional. Work was done same day at a fair price. Will call them again

Got job done. Was up-selling the whole time. Will not repeat.

They were excellent! Sent 2 plumbers out. I called at 11am and they were out by 11:45 and the job was done in 40 minutes. They even cleaned up a mess I had made in the sink. Very good service.

First of all they were very responsive. After waiting several days for a response from another highly rated plumbing service ("not so" Good Plumber), I gave up and called Duane Blanton. Somebody answered the phone (!) and had a tech out for an estimate within hours. We were able to schedule the work to be done in a couple of days which fit perfectly with my needs. Our plumber Ron did a fantastic job of moving the lines in such a way that no soffits are required. A work of art! He was on time, friendly, and very good at his job. He was also very meticulous about protecting everything around his work area and cleanup afterwards. All in all, a very nice job. I dinged them just a bit on price as $1200+ (after the Angie's list 10% discount) for 6 hours work seemed a little steep, but I didn't get competitive bids since I was in a hurry. Maybe that's the going rate... In any case, I am very pleased with the services I received.

I've used this company before & have always found them professional, punctual & very competent. I think their prices are a little high but, I guess, you get what you pay for - quality work.

He arrived on time, did the work with a minimum of fuss. He even did additional things like fixing a sticky handle and reset the seat.

Extremely expensive had it done for less than half the cost with another plumbing company

First firm I called was not responsive, didn't come when promised, and after they looked at it, wanted over $600 to remove/reinstall the toilet and another $900 to rod the drain line. For about two hours work, that was ridiculous, so I called Duane Blanton around 1:00. They were responsive, initially saying they could get someone here by 5:00, but within 30 seconds said they could get someone there within an hour - what great service. Mark Peterson and his helper showed up and were professional, polite, and knowledgeable. They diagnosed the problem, checked the septic tank to confirm that wasn't the problem, and quoted a very reasonable price to do the same work the other firm had quoted $1,500 for. Excellent communications on what needed to be done, what they were going to do, and let me know when they were going to make noise. They were quick and had everything done within 2 hours. I can't say enough good things about them - prompt, reasonably priced, and conscientious. I'd go to them in a heartbeat and strongly recommend them.

It went great! We thought that we were looking at fixing two issues - tearing out the wall to get to a leaky pipe, repair of the pipe then of the wall. Patrick could have easily told me he had to repair a pipe and I wouldn't have known any different. Instead, he was hoest with me - there was no plumbing problem at all. So, he cut down on our repair costs significantly. Patrick was professional and personable. He turned an experience I was dreading into one that was not nearly as bad as I expected .He also offered suggestions regarding a slow-draining bathtub in our other bathroom. Our former plumbers, HT Strenger charge $95.00 just to walk in the door before doing any work. Patrick charged only for the work he did at what I think was a very reasonable rate. Thanks to Patrick we have found a new plumber. We will call Blanton anytime we have plumbing issues. Thanks!

Cut drywall and checked and repaired pipes. Drywall cuts were a mess. I called the manager to complain and sent photos. We were put in contact with someone to do the repair at no cost to us. Bad news - drywall cuts Good news -very, very responsive to complaint
