We have used this company on several other occasions and they have always been very helpful. We gave them a call and they came out within the same day. Their guys are all very polite, honest, knowledgeable, and always make sure the place is clean when they finish. What I particularly like is that they completely explain what was involved, what the different options are and they answer all of my questions. The work was performed on time. These guys are very professional. I highly recommend them and will use them in the future.

Exceptional Plumbing was great. They sent out a guy within the hour of my calling! They were very knowledgeable. I was very impressed. However, the price was a little over the top. The original quote was for $1350, but since I was a new customer they took $150 off. A new water heater costs around 300-400 dollars. I was shocked that labor was so much! Needless to say, I did not use them.

Came out on emergency basis in timely way. After discovering extensive roots and making appointment for excavation work, they stood us up. Had to call twice to get a crew out who didn't know what the work to be done was. The plumber who'd made the appointment had taken a sick day instead of our appointment. The crew that did come out rodded a second time at no charge, was very apologetic, made another appointment or a week later. The next week they were late three hours. In spite of chaos at the dispatching point, the plumber that did come out was experienced, helpful and competent. They pulled permits. Job was three days, & inspection was within one day of new pipe being laid. Work was very good, but dispatchers were rude, clueless and infuriating. Work guaranteed clear for two years, ten yrs. on pipes with one free rodding. Not sure I'd wait on them again. I lost three days work waiting on these guys. Paid with credit card and had to pay the whole job up front!

They were supposed to complete work week of July 10th, work not started until 7/25, not completed till Aug 1st. Was told four hour procedure that took over one month! No sewer for 3 weeks! Took most of our dirt with us left with holes. Very poor communication. Manager horrible. I would use an outhouse vs them again. Multiple phone calls for services, still waiting on paperwork two months later!

They felt confident that replacing our main sewer line would fix the whole problem. I was so excited that it might resolve the issue, I went ahead and signed the papers to let them do the work. It did fix the problem of water coming up in the family room bathroom, but water still backed up in the kitchen sink. We called them back about the remaining backup, and they said we would have to pay even more to resolve the backup in the sink, they now were telling us that it was a separate problem. They were wonderful and fun to work with, were very nice guys, they weren't rude. It was just really expensive, and I was not happy that they were unwilling to come back and resolve the total problem without us paying more. I felt that the issue should have been covered under their 2 year guarantee, but they said it wasn't, even though only 4 months had passed.

BEWARE. My initial impression was very positive. It was an emergency situation and a representative showed up promptly. The experience got progressively worse. Repeated visits were necessary after the line was replaced (first the clean out in the house dripped, then the line down stream of the new line needed to be roded, etc). After they installed the new waste line, mysteriously, the pump in the lift station no longer worked. They then sold me a new pump and installed it, but said they could not wire it. When I connected the electrical, I determined that the power line to the pump was dead (the power line was where they trenched). They initially refused to return my calls, then had someone call who had never been to the job site, and said the problem was not their fault. They refused to acknowledge they could possibly be at fault. So it appears they cut the line, sold me a pump I didn't need then refused to take any responsibility. I ended up hiring an electrician to fix it.

IMMEDIATE RESPONSE TO OUR NEEDS ON A SUNDAY, NO LESS. WE WERE IN DEEP DOO-DOO, SO TO SPEAK. MARK & HIS HELPER DID A GREAT JOB & WERE CONSCIENTIOUS IN TRYING TO KEEP THE MESS TO A MINIMUM.

WORK WAS DONE PROMPTLY; HOWEVER, THE WORKERS LEFT A LARGE MOUND OF DIRT RUNNING FROM THE CITY SIDEWALK UP TO THE FRONT OF THE HOUSE. THEY ASSURED ME THAT THE DIRT WOULD SETTLE. HOWEVER, AFTER A MONTH, THE DIRT IS STILL AROUND 2 FEET HIGH, SO I ASKED THEM TO COME OUT AND REMOVE SOME OF THE DIRT, AT WHICH POINT THEY USED THE "OUR CONTRACT SAYS WE DON'T REMOVE DIRT" LANGUAGE TO AVOID SATISFYING A CUSTOMER. I USED TO LIKE THIS COMPANY, BUT AFTER THEIR FLIPPANT CAST OFF OF A CUSTOMER, I WILL NOT USE THEM AGAIN.

EXCEPTIONAL PROVIDED PROMPT SERVICE. THEY HAVE BEEN RESPONSIVE WHEN NEEDED.

THE POSITIVES: WE WERE INITIALLY SERVED VERY QUICKLY WHEN WE HAD AN EMERGENCY SITUATION, AND THE PLUMBERS THAT ARRIVED WERE COURTEOUS AND WORKED RAPIDLY. THE WORK THAT WAS DONE SEEMED TO BE ADEQUATE AS OUR SEWERS ARE STILL OPERATING PROPERLY. THE NEGATIVES: OUR MAIN OBJECTION TO THE EXPERIENCE PROVIDED WAS THAT THE COMPANY LIED TO US NUMEROUS TIMES AS TO WHEN THE HOLE FROM THE CLEAN OUT PIPE WOULD BE FILLED. WE WERE LIED TO ON WHEN AN INSPECTOR WOULD BE CALLED, WERE LIED TO AS WHEN THE WORK WOULD BE COMPLETED, AND WERE LIED TO AS TO WHEN WE WOULD BE CALLED BACK. THE OWNER OF THE COMPANY FINALLY CONTACTED US (AFTER NUMEROUS ATTEMPTS TO CONTACT HIM) AND WHEN WE TRIED TO EXPRESS OUR DISPLEASURE AS TO THE POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE, HE HUNG UP ON US! THE COMPANY SEEMED TO BE UNINTERESTED IN WORKING WITH US ONCE THE BILL HAD BEEN PAID. BOTTOM LINE: THE WORK ITSELF WAS DONE FAIRLY WELL, BUT IT WAS NOT WORTH IT FOR THE CONSTANT LYING AND EVASIVENESS THAT THE COMPANY OPERATED UNDER.
