What went well: 1. The plumber was friendly and personable. 2. Communication with front office. What didn’t go well: 1. Quality of work below expectations - required multiple trips and extra time to install new parts. 2. The old uninstalled part was left outside by our front door - not very professional. 3. Scheduling miscommunication between myself, front office, and plumber causing me to miss a special event with my kid in the afternoon. 4. The price for the work was high.

I would highly recommend and will use them anytime I have plumbing repairs or replacement.

After I confirmed what was leaking, the job was completed less than 48 hours later. Interior damage was almost non-existent due to their fast and prompt response. One part of the job (mechanical issue) was not cooperating with the tradesman. The fix was legal and solid but aesthetically not the original. They asked if that was acceptable and I certainly said yes. One hour later, an associate with the company showed up and was able to make necessary changes to accommodate original design. Clearly they want to maintain the highest standard regardless. The company is well equipped and able to handle any job that may come up. Price was competitive.

They came out the same day for an outdoor leak in the back flow valve. They assisted us in finding a certified plumber for the job and they fixed it the next day.

They set up an appt with me, then never contacted me. I called to follow-up several times and they kept telling me someone was coming. No one ever came, no phone call letting me know what was going on. Please dont waste your time with these unprofessional company.

On Christmas Eve my well sprung an underground leak which caused sentiment to clog the heater and stop the flow which stops hot water. Huement Well (see separate review) fixed the wel leak on 12/27. I went to Home Depot for a replacement quote. They wanted $4,000!! I called Blanton for a quote, they came out the same day and replaced the unit on New Years Eve. This was a complex install because technology had advanced significantly in 15 years. The workmanship, the value and service were outstanding. Working on a bathroom remodel job. Old house and galvanized nipples for the sink and toilet probably original to the house. Took off shutoff valves and half the threads came with them. Blanton the only one we called who answered right away and was able to get someone out to us. Promised between 3pm-6pm (on a Sunday). Matt showed up at 3pm. Quick diagnosis (replace the nipples). Quick run to get the parts because it was close. Quick fix. Final cost was about $435. Obviously I would have preferred a lower cost but running water in the house and a working toilet trump that. Very happy with the service and will definitely use Blanton again.

I have used Duane Blanton plumbing for more than three years. They replaced two sump pumps, a power vent water heater, performed yearly RPZ valve testing, and performed other minor jobs during that timeframe. I called on 01/22 regarding my sump pump drain line ejecting water above grade despite being a below grade line. I was told a technician would be out between 11a-1p to address the issue. I was then contacted by the office at 1230p and told they were running late, and would arrive between 1p-3p. No technician showed by 3p, so I again contacted office. I was told the tech was in a nearby town and would be done there in about twenty minutes, then en route to my home. After seventy-five more minutes, no technician had arrived. After waiting more than five hours for assistance, I contacted the office and cancelled the ticket. I received no apology when I conveyed my frustration, just a curt "thank you," followed by the woman who answered the phone hanging up on me. I'm sorry to say that Duane Blanton Plumbing lost a good customer today. I will never use them again, and I will discourage people who seek plumbing referral from using them as well. A company who does not value it's customers' time doesn't deserve the business.

I called on a Friday and they were able to send someone right out. Dan arrived on time and was personable, answered all my questions, and seemed pretty knowledgeable. I showed him the issues and explained the water pressure thing. he quoted me a price and got to work. He was here about 3 hrs and fixed everything but the water pressure issue, which he suggested I call a well company about because it seemed like thats where the water pressure problem likely was coming from. I had a heating company, who I like a lot, (Robinson Heating and Cooling) come for some separate heating issues later on in the day. It turned out I had a busted pipe under the garage floor from my radiant heat, which is why my water pressure was low. The boiler kept pushing water out under my garage and the well couldn't keep up or got drained too far, I haven't had it checked yet. Overall, even though he didn't catch the water leak from the boiler, I think Dan did a good job. If the price wasn't literally double what it probably should have been, then I would have considered using them again. This company does good work, but if you are looking for good value look somewhere else.

I will never use a different plumbing company. We needed a drain valve replaced and they were able to send Patrick out the next morning. He did that and I asked him to take a look at a leak on the other side of the house. Turns out it was our water heater, which, I was surprised to learn, 21 years beyond its expected lifespan. He quoted a price to replace, which was as expected. It turns out our house was designed by blind squirrels and presented some ... challenges. Patrick was not deterred and MacGyver’d it in there with PVC pipe. He was there for hours longer than I expected, and was surprised when the price was the original quote.

Great, no complaints. Earl was awesome! Great personality and did a wonderful job. My only issue is the cost, I went with this company because they were highly recommended and I was warned they were expensive. Earl was at my home for about 5 hours so the cost averages out to about $300/hour for labor. I agreed to this price as I am tired of hiring incompetent people and wanted a worry free job.

DUANE BLANTON fixed everything in one day. Everything is working well and looks good. I will definetly use them again.
