They were quick and did excellent work. I feel as if the overcharged me significantly. They took advantage to an emergency situation

we spoke with him about the price he quoted then asked him to leave it was way to much.

He had to saw out the ceiling and the closet drywall to get to the source of the leak but he found the source in the end.

The technician showed up, found the source of drain flies and told my renters that the issue was because my main sewer trap was broken and he needed to dig up all the concrete to fix it. He said the main trap wasn't holding enough water, needed to be replaced and would cost $2100 to do it. I shopped the work to other plumbers and they all said it wasn't a broken trap and that all we needed was a couple buckets of hot water and some bleach to get rid of the flies.

I was able to make the appointment within a few days of calling the office. The plumber (Patrick) arrived EXACTLY on time, was very personable, was respectful and knew his job. I am preparing my home for sale and am proactively getting critical mechanicals cleaned/inspected. I have had the tankless water heater for 5 years and have had absolutely NO problem with it. However, I wanted to make sure there were no hidden issues and that it was good to go for the future homeowners (and inspectors). (Trying to be proactive.) It turns out it should have been inspected ~every 2 years, since the lines need to be flushed to get rid of scale (mineral deposits that decrease efficiency). I was not aware of this, so it was a bit of a shock as to the cost of this process (>$300). However, the need for the process made sense. The technician (Patrick) explained the process and showed me the results. It definitely needed the treatment. He also cleaned out a sluggish drain in my half bath. I have been a customer of this company for about 10 years, and did get a discount on the price of services, and an additional $20 discount on the sink drain de-clogging. I really appreciate this, as $ is very tight these days. However, considering the amount of actual effort required, it still seems like a lot (not the plumber's fault). But then again, it is a plumbing co. (I have cousins that are plumbers in another state, and I know they are not cheap.)

My water heater started leaking Friday night, I called a few plumbers in attempt to set up a Saturday appointment and didn't have too much luck. Most of the communication I received back from the other shops was that 1> they didn't have a 75 gal rapid recovery water heater on hand, though they can call me back Monday and should be able provide the necessary service by middle week. or 2> they took my details and said they would return my call within 30 minutes. Well I received one call back 5 hours later and the rest on Monday. For those of you that have High School daughters you can understand the gravity of the situation, it would be like me not having beer on hand for the weekend tailgating. Anyway, I perused Angie's List and found J.Blanton. I called the office and the young lady that was working the phone did a great job or trying to work with me. She was very punctual in calling me back and in an hour she had me all set to go for Saturday morning. The 2 crews they sent to my house were fantastic! They all spoke highly of the company and the owner and genuinely seemed very content with their respective jobs. It was nice to see a company with happy employee's, that is the way it should be. They completed the work in the time suggest, cleaned the area and went over the maintenance and troubling shooting items. I would use this company again. I feel got very good value.

I can't praise Mark or his partner Vic enough. We recently had a lot of rain, and shortly after began to smell sewage. Mark came out and was able to determine right away what was happening. He came back with his partner and they realized that we have a very backwards sewer system. He was so kind and explained everything he was doing. I am so very grateful to have the problem fixed. I highly recommend this company- this is the second issue we have used them for and both services went exceptionally well.

It was fine. They were really good. They came out the next day after I purchased it. The guy was really helpful. He wasn't one of those people who were just trying to mark the bill. He diagnosed what the problem was and gave me solutions. He was really good. He was awesome. He was great. I would rate him very high. He was very professional and very straightforward. He was in my house for probably three hours. He was just in there very well. I didn't feel threatened or anything. It was great. I would definitely use them again. The price was really fair.

We had an emergency. Our basement floor drain overflowed and was flowing into the other rooms onto the carpet. I called on a Saturday morning. They were at my house within 30 minuted. He was able to clear the drain. They then followed up afterward, I was still too stressed with having to dry out carpet I had just had laid less than a week ago. No one saw a clogged floor drain in our future when it was put down. But, I have not had any issues with the drain since. I am very grateful they were open on Saturday and able to get to my home so quickly. My children were dancing in the huge sewage puddle behind my back and clean-up took 2 days, so they definitely helped make it better.

Provider showed up on time, clearly explained my options and costs and performed the work on the spot. Because he was there already, he cleared a slow drain for no extra charge. I appreciate that very much. Nothing worse than getting nickle and dimed.

The person who performed the service arrived in about an hour from calling the company. It was an emergency since the water was coming up through the laundry room drain from a clog where all of the water flows before emptying to the sanitary sewer . Ed was very pleasant and professional, looking for a clean out at the residence. Since there was no available clean out area, he determined that he would have to remove and then replace the toilet in order to clear the line. He told me the cost in advance of performing the service, which was more than I expected. He offered me a discount which was available and was very accommodating in that regard. I have not had a clogged sewer line here and have lived here for over 30 years. Since this occurred on a holiday weekend, I needed to have this done even it it cost more than I think it should have cost. Ed was very methodical while doing his work and he spent a long time until he was able clear the drain and attempted to view the line with a camera. This was not possible and he offered me a 1 year re-routing guarantee on the work. He also told me that he did not think I needed to have a clean out inserted into the drain line. I would have Ed back if I needed him but I would obtain several quotes from other providers on a non-urgent basis.

The rodding was done in timely manner, very profeccial and efficient. Appointmernt was schedule very close to the date sertvice was purchased. The price structure and Angie's list member benefit was not clearly stated; therefroe, we ended up paying twice as much what we did in the past by other providers from the Angie's list.

These guys are the absolute best. This is the 2nd time we?ve used them. Both times they were outstanding. Debbie always answers the phone with a smile in her voice. She is very friendly and courteous. Dan is out of this world. He is professional, courteous, and everything you?d want in a person that comes to your house when you are most likely not at your best. Both times we called them in ?emergency? mode. The tech (Dan) was at our house in less than a ½ hour. They are thorough and very good at what they do. Within 5 minutes he identified the problem, proposed a solution and quoted the job. In less than a ½ hour he was done and we have a working toilet and a dry bathroom once again. We will definitely continue to use Duane Blanton for all our plumbing needs. They repeatedly go above and beyond to get everything back in working order.

The whole experience was very positive. The technician was prompt, friendly and respectful of our home. Did the work very quickly, asked if I had any questions, and explained the warranty. Very pleased.

Woke up to a leaking water heater on Saturday. Called Blanton at approximately 10:00 AM. Made appointment for 1:00 PM. Told them to put a water heater on the truck. Technician arrived shortly after 1:00 PM. By 3:00 PM new water was installed, starting to heat with no leaks. Courteous, fast, very professional.

WOW!! These guys are the BEST!!. The check valve on our sump pump exploded. Water was streaming everywhere, we had to flip the breaker to shut off the pump as we couldn't even get close to it. With all the snow melting recently, water was fast approaching the top of the barrel that houses the sump pump. We looked on Angie's list and found these guys. From the moment of the first call to the office at 7:20 the next morning everyone was very friendly and professional. They truly cared about our situation. Within 2 hours, Daniel was at our house, the problem fixed, and he was on his way. Everyone at Duane Blanton was exemplary in their interactions with us. We were a little nervous at first because some of the reviews mentioned price. We found the price to be quite acceptable given the circumstances. To us this was an emergency situation. It was handled perfectly. We are definitely satisfied customers. We will absolutely be calling these guys again. Hopefully the next time we won't be in panic mode, but if it is, we know we will be in good hands.

It went good. They came a couple of days after I purchased the Big Deal.

The water line under my tub burst after freezing, and I had a mess, and no water in my home. I called, and they said they were very busy and they could have someone out on Monday. When the very nice lady who answers the phone found out I had to shut off the water main, and had no water in the house, she arranged for someone to be there within 2 hours. A very nice tech came, and diagnosed the problem right away. Unfortunately, it was under my home, and the access area is pretty small. He could not fit. He arranged for another tech to come within a few hours. They both came back, fixed my burst pipe, and I have running water in my house! VERY PLEASED with both the professionalism and service of all the individuals I dealt with at Duane Blanton Plumbing. I have some other work I need done in my home, and have already scheduled an appointment for them to provide the service. Would highly recommend.

Tech Daniel was very prompt with all appointments and explained the options available to solve my problem. Left me with the estimated cost so I could further explore my options. I called back and told Daniel to go ahead. They had to order the new heater and were able to install the next day. The tech is a very cordial and competent person.. Tech and office staff great to deal with.

The first time they connected it wrongly and we had a flood in the basement. Everything went well other than connecting it to the wrong sump pump. I told them not to put that in, but they did it. They had to cut a floor in my garage to lay the pipe. It was complicated. After they replaced the sump pump, the quality of their work was good. They never even bothered to apologize for the flood.

The plumbers did come out and did a good job. They were on time. They really worked fast.

Woke up to a leak beneath our sink in the kitchen which required emergency repair. Service was great in addition to timely.
